    2017 is the year the Sonic franchise stops running from itself. Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces celebrate different eras, but they both take the same shameless “all-in” approach. Sonic Forces is a confident game, serving up a story and stages that go for broke while dodging the pitfalls of the past. As long as you’re not a hardline 3D Sonic hater, this earnest, entertaining adventure is worth a spin.

    Sonic Forces mashes together everything from Sonic’s history, from 2D/3D mechanics to over-the-top action spectacle pieces. The new customizable hero feature breathes fresh life into the franchise, but the 3D gameplay it uses overpowers the game’s attempt to combine what has made the different eras of Sonic work.

    Sonic returns with an adventure full of good intentions, but poorly executed. The control and level design are the main issues to tackle, but if you're a hardcore fan Sonic, you'll probably enjoy the game.

    Sonic Forces is yet another stumble in a series that looked like it had regained balance after Sonic Mania's launch. A game for hardcore fans, although won't be so appealing to the rest of potential buyers.

    All I can say about this game is that the game is beautiful and fun. This is the first "Modern Sonic" I have played since Sonic Colors and itAll I can say about this game is that the game is beautiful and fun. This is the first "Modern Sonic" I have played since Sonic Colors and it does not disappoint. I don't get why people are hating on this game when some levels are just the same length as Colors if not longer. I have been waiting to buy this game for months and I loved playing it. Modern Sonic boost is awesome and some levels really depend on boost to get a good rank. Sonic has had a great year with Sonic Mania and now Sonic Forces, so now SEGA can just stick to the same formulas like Generations or Colors. I get where some people are saying the controls are touchy, and I see where they are getting it from, but when I died from controls, it was only because I was still exploring and that I accidentally pressed a button. I even laughed when I died because I went to fast or was just clumsy. In Conclusion, this is a great game, and GOTTA GO FAST!… Expand

    this game was great and i love the ost, the story was not the best thing in the game and the controls were okay in some parts and some thingsthis game was great and i love the ost, the story was not the best thing in the game and the controls were okay in some parts and some things do need some tweaking like classic sonics physics and some other things here and there but everything else is great i recommend the game on the ps4....................or you can get it on the switch but that's you're choice… Expand

    Flawed in some áreas but I like a lot of the levels despite being short, wish It could be more but I had funnand i prefer It over Heroes don't @ me

    Trust me, I tried to love Sonic Forces but I just couldn't... Something about this game feels so off compared to other 3D Sonic games.
