    Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a generous, complete game with timeless and relentless game mechanics. Because of this, it is undoubtedly a must-have for anyone who enjoys competitive puzzle play.

    You definitely need to be a puzzle game fan to enjoy Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 and if these styles of games do not interest you then this one will probably not turn you. Since both franchises are played differently it’s difficult to merge the two into one experience, but how they did it here works great and it’s easy to jump into and play. There is enough offered in Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 that even if you are a fan of just one type of puzzler you will probably still find something to like. If you are a puzzle fan and missed the first one then this is a perfect pick up… and if you have experienced the original there’s enough new content to be found in the sequel to keep you entertained.

    Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a fun game that offers up more gameplay options than narrative depth. The competitive mode is the highlight of the release and gives you plenty of reasons to keep playing this sequel.

    Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is essentially a carbon copy of the first game except it has a new mode and a different story-based adventure. Because of that, I can't help but feel like it could have been DLC instead of a brand new separate game.

    Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a fun puzzling game if you like both Puyo Puyo and Tetris and you get something more. Unfortunately it is not a very impressive game and feels cheap at times, the biggest problem is the lack of cross play on top of a small community.

    This game is just as good as the previous one and feels just like the last game. I spent maybe 100 hours on it so far and havent got bored yet… Expand

    I didn't play the first one, so the drawback that people state that it is the same game didn't effect me. I'm fairly new to playing Tetris on a regular basis but got seriously addicted one I started playing Tetris Effect and now I play Tetris everywhere I can! The puyo play was rough at first but still a lot of fun! I'm getting better at it but I still have trouble with the Adventure Mode after stage 6. The various modes are all fun and I consider the game well worth the money I spent on it. Online however is a bit of a nightmare for me! When I can find an opponent, which is rarely, I get absolutely stomped on! I can handle 15 speed in Tetris, but I feel like I'm playing against world champions, every single match! I don't actually mind this however, as I find that the best way to get better is to play the best. I definitely recommend the game! Hopefully as more people get PS5s, the online will liven up.… Expand

Just paid £35 for #2 and it’s literally exactly the same game. It’s impossible to get into an online game, my world rank is 7 and I have literally got into 1 game. Surely more than 50 people have bought this game. Giving it a 6 because although it’s the same game as before, it’s still fun as hell, well just as fun as the first one...… Expand

    Absolutely loved this game, until there was a ridiculous difficulty spike in 3-4C. I won every match fairly easily up to that point, and can still win the tetris parts, but once it hits Puyo, Rulue just combo's like crazy, filling half the screen in mere seconds. This is just unbalanced, and not fun.

    Too bad, as I loved Puyo Puyo 1.

    Edit: So, I guess the game doesn't auto-change the difficulty on retry, as I went back into it, and won easily. Work on the balancing for the auto-difficulty please, as there's no way it should've bumped up that high.    … Expand

    I can’t seem to play any online multiplayer... and I mean nothing. Matchmaking doesn’t find any opponents ever. This is hopeless

    Puyo controls are broken. They feel way different here than in previous Puyo games.

    AI isnt actualy AI, its rigged to always win. Even on normal. I literally got so many combos and the cpu just brushed it off like nothingAI isnt actualy AI, its rigged to always win.
