Jan 27, 2021I can’t seem to play any online multiplayer... and I mean nothing. Matchmaking doesn’t find any opponents ever. This is hopeless

Apr 12, 2021Puyo controls are broken. They feel way different here than in previous Puyo games.

May 28, 2022AI isnt actualy AI, its rigged to always win. Even on normal. I literally got so many combos and the cpu just brushed it off like nothing happened, immediatley got a 5 combo EVERY SINGLE MATCH, THE SAME THING. Its all rigged. This isnt game design.

Dec 14, 2020This game is just as good as the previous one and feels just like the last game. Barely anything is different but I see that as a good thing. I love puyo puyo tetris and playing it on the ps5 gives me the same feeling and I love it. I spent maybe 100 hours on it so far and havent got bored yet

Playstation Official Magazine UKJan 8, 2021Very much in the Puyo Puyo mould, it’s goofy fun about the dimensions crossing over. PPT2 isn’t a gamechanger, but is still one of the best puzzlers around. [Issue#184, p.86]

Dec 29, 2020Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a fun puzzling game if you like both Puyo Puyo and Tetris and you get something more. Unfortunately it is not a very impressive game and feels cheap at times, the biggest problem is the lack of cross play on top of a small community.

Dec 23, 2020As a follow-up, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 does manage to add the occasional extra twist, some tweaked timing, and a whole new round of puns but this enjoyable puzzle game doesn't add enough to the core gameplay to justify a sequel, however charming it is.
