Nov 17, 2025Overall, you get a lot of bang for your buck in this year’s Black Ops. While the campaign is a bit meh, it’s got a couple of really neat ideas and an unusual theme for a Call of Duty title. The multiplayer is fast, frantic and as good as ever and the real selling point of this title. And the addition of meaty zombies and dead ops modes means there’s plenty of gaming to be had in the overall package.

Dec 1, 2025I confess I expected less from Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Recent titles have alternated between highs and lows, but the new FPS managed to maintain the overall quality seen in last year's game. The biggest criticism is the campaign, which is, at the very least, controversial: not only does it force the player to go online and play cooperatively, but it also has a sometimes inconsistent storyline. In terms of Multiplayer and Zombies, we have fun and well-produced options. The former benefits from the futuristic setting, receiving interesting and timely updates. The latter remains addictive and varied, full of surprises for shootouts against the undead. Therefore, even if it's not revolutionary and still lacks information about Warzone, we have here a competent shooter, especially for those who are already fans of the franchise.

Nov 18, 2025Call of Duty deserves so much better, and if there’s anything that I’ve learned from Black Ops 7, it's that the annual releases need to come to an end ASAP, so that the developers can have more time to ensure that each new release lives up to the legacy of this series that has been built over the last two decades. Hopefully, the next entry will get the series back on track.

Dec 8, 2025If co-op is your comfort zone and you’ve got a well-oiled crew beside you, this year’s campaign will fit you like a glove. But if you’re going in solo, expect a few too many roadblocks - which is a real shame, because these 11 levels are bursting with creativity and some downright wild moments, even by Black Ops standards.

Nov 20, 2025Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 looks good, but ultimately fails to bring anything new to the table. The campaign is confusing and poorly organized, the multiplayer is basically “more of the same,” and the Zombies mode has some good ideas, but it's not enough to save the game.

Nov 17, 2025Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 feels soulless and mercenary, doing just enough to avoid major outcry, while always feeling like a nip and tuck version of the games you once knew. This game may not be the worst game in the franchise, at least not for long, but it makes you question what we as an industry are even doing anymore.
