Nov 17, 2025Overall, you get a lot of bang for your buck in this year’s Black Ops. While the campaign is a bit meh, it’s got a couple of really neat ideas and an unusual theme for a Call of Duty title. The multiplayer is fast, frantic and as good as ever and the real selling point of this title. And the addition of meaty zombies and dead ops modes means there’s plenty of gaming to be had in the overall package.
-
Nov 17, 2025Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is ambitious and packed with content, though not flawless. Its campaign shines through emotional moments and brilliant psychological sequences, even if the villain and ending fall short. The multiplayer remains solid despite balance issues, while Zombies makes a strong return without major innovation. Treyarch delivers a lot in a short timeframe, but the inconsistent polish exposes the rush of the annual release cycle.
-
Nov 13, 2025Black Ops 7 expands on Black Ops 6 with an enhanced, less sweaty multiplayer offering and more Zombie-killing fun, but a forgettable co-op campaign that leads into the exciting new Endgame mode prevents it from being a true top-tier Call of Duty.
-
Nov 13, 2025Black Ops 7 is indeed the biggest Black Ops entry so far, but its sheer scope keeps it just shy of true excellence.
-
Nov 17, 2025No, I didn't see this score coming myself, even though it's mainly due to that "rollercoaster on mushrooms" single-player and the hours I expect to waste on Zombies. Endgame has something, but "something" doesn't survive in today's extraction shooter landscape. And the carnivalesque, bunny-hopping, TikTok-dancing, slip 'n' slide 140BPM ADHD simulator of the multiplayer... I'll gladly and respectfully leave that to those bunny-hopping, TikTok-dancing, slip 'n' slide 140BPM ADHD players.

Nov 21, 2025Call of Duty Black Ops 7 delivers fast, satisfying gunplay, strong map design, and an atmospheric Zombies mode that brings fresh ideas to the formula. While not groundbreaking, it’s a polished and enjoyable entry that fans of the series will have plenty of fun with.
-
Nov 17, 2025Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 a solid package, offering yet more enjoyable zombie antics and fast-paced multiplayer fun across some well-designed maps. Its outrageous campaign will be divisive, however, pitting players against giant plants, grotesque spiders and more during its running time.
-
Nov 21, 2025While its co-op-only campaign disappoints, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 rebounds with blisteringly fast multiplayer and one of the strongest Zombies modes in years. With sharper mobility, punchier progression, and some of the series’ most chaotic maps yet, this entry proves there’s still plenty of life left in Black Ops.
-
Nov 18, 2025Black Ops 7 is yet another confirmation that Call of Duty can still entertain, but not surprise. The campaign feels like a firework that lasts only a few moments, Endgame tries to make an impression but is quickly forgotten, while multiplayer and Zombies uphold the honor and glory of this new chapter.
-
Dec 29, 2025As is tradition, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 offers polished, addictive multiplayer, the best work from Treyarch since Black Ops II. However, the campaign disappoints by removing the traditional single-player experience, replacing it with uninspired co-op missions and a narrative disconnected from the series legacy. Zombies mode is ambitious but overly complex, prioritizing retention over fun. A split package: brilliant in multiplayer, but soulless in its campaign.

Dec 1, 2025I confess I expected less from Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Recent titles have alternated between highs and lows, but the new FPS managed to maintain the overall quality seen in last year's game. The biggest criticism is the campaign, which is, at the very least, controversial: not only does it force the player to go online and play cooperatively, but it also has a sometimes inconsistent storyline. In terms of Multiplayer and Zombies, we have fun and well-produced options. The former benefits from the futuristic setting, receiving interesting and timely updates. The latter remains addictive and varied, full of surprises for shootouts against the undead. Therefore, even if it's not revolutionary and still lacks information about Warzone, we have here a competent shooter, especially for those who are already fans of the franchise.
-
Nov 20, 2025Despite its shortcomings and the campaign’s lack of variety, Black Ops 7 is a solid entry solely for establishing new ways to play while making Call of Duty the social space it used to be. Treyarch and Activision’s commitment to additional modes continues to cannibalize their storyboards, and while it remains to be seen if their open stance on skill-based matchmaking (SBMM) is merely a PR tactic, they’re still capable of producing absorbing multiplayer and Zombies experiences that improve with every round. Black Ops 7 may not be the sequel some wanted this year, but in the most BO4 way possible, it emulates individualism to set a new bar that’s worth surpassing.

Nov 13, 2025The Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 campaign is incredibly ambitious, focusing on the personal lives of the heroes as they work to stop a grand evil plan. Not every choice lands as well as it could have, but overall, the experience is certainly worth playing, especially in co-op. [Campaign Review score = 75]

Nov 13, 2025Being able to play through Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's campaign in a full squad of four and then jump straight into the Endgame makes this one of the more enjoyable Call of Duty campaigns in recent years, even if the story being told fails to live up to the hype. [Campaign Review score = 84]
