Watch Dogs 2 looks absolutely gorgeous on PC. The game offers a rich sandbox, with plenty of fun missions, things to do and places to see.

Over the top hacking action combined with open world exploration, but with a social conscience and a very welcome sense of humor. [Issue#258, p.60]

Unlike the first game where multiplayer was kind of a mess, the sequel offers a pretty solid multiplayer experience. Playing Watch Dogs 2 co-op is definitely a blast, especially if you're experiencing the game with a friend.

Ubisoft once again fails to tell an engaging story, instead mixing a somewhat confused, even boring plot with bland characters. While Watch Dogs 2 is near-perfect PC port with lots of PC-specific options both for graphics as well as controls, the underlying game wastes a lot of potential. The beautiful rendition of San Francisco is a great background for some neat hacking tricks and fun missions, yet, aside from the shift in tone, Watch Dogs 2 isn’t the anticipated step forward for the series.

Watch_Dogs 2 is definitely a good game, especially compared to the first one which was a dull game. It’s got a lot of personality, especially in terms of the cast of characters, and humour is always welcome in open world titles. The missions may generally boil down to “go somewhere, sneak past/shoot guards, hack something, get out” but they cover fun subjects and are never less than entertaining. Nevertheless the online side is aggravating as all hell, the controls aren’t quite receptive enough particularly when driving or shooting, and being able to kill loads of people doesn’t really jive with the DedSec ethos.

Ubisoft Montreal almost made a GTA of their own. On the second try. For those who think that "funny" public group in social networks are actually funny. If you do not subscribe to the idea that you have to entertain yourself rather than be entertained in a video game, better stay in Los Santos.

For the second time the unfulfilled potential of an unconventional material. The very idea is grasped greatly, but that's all and the game itself is very sad story – again. [Issue #269]

There is a plethora of options for a (relatively) stealthy mission completion: sneaking behind and completing objectives without being seen, sending the quadjumper to hack everything and get out in a matter of minutes or bomb the whole level with your drone. Run-and-gun is just as fun, since it is encouraged to run around, create confusion and distract in order to execute your enemies with highest proficiency. The story is a fun, self-aware romp, full of fun and memorable characters and a long-awaited exploration of the first game's themes of corruption, mass surveillance and hacking. The game...is cool. Watch Dogs was a loser. What will I be. Although I liked the game, it was not what the developers showed us at E3. So Ubisoft got a secondWatch Dogs was a loser. What will I be. Although I liked the game, it was not what the developers showed us at E3. So Ubisoft got a second chance and brings us Watch Dogs 2, which is already quite easy to look at, but quite different. So where would I just start? Let's start with the visuals. As soon as it catches your eye, the overall graphics of Watch Dogs 2 are quite different from the few years older Watch Dogs 1. It is happier and overall has more pronounced colors. Dark, overcast Chicago has been replaced by sunny, vibrant San Francisco and I must say it's beautiful. I dare say that if Ubisoft can do anything, it's game worlds. San Francisco has something in it, and while it may not fit in with Aidan Pearce's style, it doesn't matter at all, because we don't even play for it here. Marcus comes on the scene, which is much, but much more charismatic, for which I commend the authors. At number one, I complained that the game lacked a protagonist who would express emotions in any way. But Marcus is much better off and not just him. In less than an hour of playing, we meet other characters we play with and they are also much better than those from the previous part. I immediately developed a relationship with them. What was the purpose of the previous game was hacking, which is of course here again. In my opinion, it is neither better nor worse. I think it's the same. It all works better thanks to better characters. Unfortunately, what the developers still didn't finish is shooting, which is not bad, but in the previous game I found it a bit strange, but mainly car control. In my opinion, this is the biggest stumbling block of Watch Dogs 2. What I liked about the game was that at any time you can be attacked by a player who is playing and can steal your followers. In the same way, you have the opportunity to attack a player and gain followers. Yes, you hear or read correctly. Followery. You gain followers in the game, thanks to which you also gain experience points and you improve your hacker, who is in the DEDSEC group. What do you, as a DEDSEC group, have to do and I will not reveal the overall point of the story. All I can say is that it's definitely better than in number one, which I don't even really know what it was about. Overall, a good game for me, which has learned from the previous one. For me, a good game that I can recommend. Expand

While this one is pretty much the same game with minor changes, additions and different characters, it's the characters that got on my nerves through the whole game. They were all pretentious and cheesy. The game mechanics were great and I enjoyed playing it, but with the excessively liberal teen divas, I was sure I'd see Aaron Spelling in the writing credits.
