As many roguelikes before it, Leap of Fate can be a harsh game where one mistake leads to death and restarting the game. But the developers decided for an approach where your character will keep certain bonuses even after the death, making Leap of Fate less punishing, but ultimately more rewarding game.

Detroit Become Human is finally released on PC and it was worth the wait. The story is good enough, the consequences of your choices really affect the narrative and the audio-visual design is really spot on. That being said, running it on PC with hardware even above the recommended specs can sometimes be a little sloppy, with occasional frame drops and stuttering.

Monstrum Nox builds greatly on the systems of its predecessor, making for a really fun title and a great promise to the tenth instalment. The PlayStation 5 version does not offer enough reasons for you to get it if you have already played the original. F1 25 is probably the best edition of F1 to date. It features rich and revamped My Team mode with remarkable depth, as well as the much loved continuation of the Breaking Point story mode that often reaches movie-like quality. It still suffers from occasional handling issues and live-service features that might ruin the experience in some modes, but it is rich with content and its presentation is remarkable.

Although it is still very much fun to play NBA 2k18, most of the content is blocked by a wall of micro transactions. Some improvements in gameplay are welcome, but the game still has problems with the amount of bugs that can happen during the match. But without stronger competition, 2k18 will remain the best option for the average NBA fan.

Great new animations, magical moments, improved pass/receiving mechanics, and a lot more, makes for another great year of PES. It could have had more league licenses though.

After a stellar remake of an arguably the best Resident Evil game ever made, Capcom has let down our expectations by giving us a more scripted, more linear survival horror action game that will probably be forgotten like so many sequels that have gone the path of less resistance when it comes to game design. Apex Legends Mobile is one of the best mobile ports out there, but if we’re comparing it to the original, it can still bring something new to the table. The controls can be a bit challenging at the start, but the game itself looks really beautiful and runs smoothly. To top it all off, the players even get some new content and features, like exclusive legends, game modes, and more.
