Impressively interesting title which takes you golfing in a dystopian wasteland called Earth. While golfing your way through abandoned cities and listening to a Martian radio station, you will discover what had really happened to our once great society. Golf Club Wasteland is using nonlinear storytelling to a great extent and it is a truly amazing experience.

An updated version of last year’s edition does not offer enough content to justify its full price. But as ever, if you want to play the newest edition, you have but one choice. Sure, it’s better, more realistic and updated with new events and data, but the fans of basketball deserve more than an annual recycle and sadly, this is just that and a bit more.

Anger Foot is a dirty, filthy, incredibly fun and funny FPS where you introduce people’s faces to the business end of your foot. The silly humour fits perfectly with its gameplay loop, and while the game is pretty simplistic, it can be very challenging. A fantastic game from Free Lives and Devolver!

Maybe not as impactful as the original was 11 years ago, Alan Wake Remastered still manages to keep what gave it a cult status. Crisper graphics do take away bits and pieces of the atmosphere built on foggy, dark and smudgy visuals, but also breathe in some new life. Almost as amazing as it was when it was originally released, this remastered release is a game you should undoubtedly get if you are into the genre.

Frank is back, and DRDR is definitely the best possible way to experience this game. It fixes so many of the original problems while upgrading the engine and graphics to the newest RE engine, giving it an absurd upgrade for a “remaster”. It is a prime example of how remasters should be treated while providing players with endless hours of stupid cheesy zombie fun.

New FIFA installment, does not bring much to the table of the hungry fans. Yet, the new VOLTA mode brings quite enough to justify this year's release. While the game is called Overwatch 2, this all seems more like a transition to a full new game. The biggest changes are dropping the 6v6 gameplay in favour of a much more exciting 5v5 format. Mafia: Definitive Edition is a remake of mixed flavours. Some elements are just as they used to be, and it's great. Some elements are just as they used to be, and it's awful. Mixture of aged mechanics and amazing graphics, new voices, great old story and some added, yet bad storylines, make it not such a perfect remake. But it sure is worth your time, whether you are a fan of the original or not. The moral of the story survived in all its glory, just be sure to focus your attention to the details where Mafia used to and still shines the most.

Age of Calamity serves as a prequel to Breath of the Wild, which easily justifies dozens of over the top battles against hordes of enemies. It is fun to play and to watch, but as a prequel, it fails to properly deliver. Expectation: a cool and interesting story. Reality: a boring and uncreative one. Even though the game represents a standard Omega Force half-asset flip of their own first Attack on Titan game, it still delivers enough of new things. With plenty of options regarding your own character, the RPG-lite elements, and the way the player can interact and make bonds with other NPC characters makes it so this could be considered a fine continuation of the series. If you wanted to enjoy the story and characters from the AoT universe from your perspective as a unique character then this is a good option for you, just watch out for the abysmal camera and somewhat iffy movement controls.

Fast-paced combat, clever boss encounters, and a larger, more varied world elevate the series, while resource scarcity and strategic inventory management keep the tension high. Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader was, besides Baldur’s Gate 3, my most anticipated game of 2023. Owlcat did an amazing job on Wrath of the Righteous and I expected that they would nail the Rogue Trader fantasy. Unfortunately, a lot of changes, bugs and a severe lack of voice acting completely ejects me from the immersion that is necessary for any 40k game. Hell Is Us is an interesting experiment that deviates from the standard hand-holding exploration games and lets the players play on their own with little to no guidance. However, simplistic combat with a bit of reflex-based healing mechanics will deter casual gamers or even curious players that do not want to invest so much time in learning specific timings. However, for the patient and tenacious players, they will find a lot of fun here.

You can say it's just L4D, but also so much more. It not only brings the horde style zombie shooter to its next level but also adds some nice progression options in the style of roguelike games.

Isometric Darksiders spin-off that does not do Strife any justice.

Even though visually pretty, I found the game lacking serious depth when it came to the story, and consider that there were not enough points in the game for me to emotionally connect to either of the characters. When you take into consideration that plot twist is very predictable and that the game can be finished in less than one day, this game does offer a different perspective on the WWI from the other games currently on the market, but it won’t leave a lasting impression on you, it will become just a fleeting memory.

Unravel Two changes the formula in ways it improves the game, but diminishes the strong atmosphere. So it's a win-lose situation. But fear not, it is still a great game -AND you can enjoy it with a friend, in an all new co-op mode. It deserves the third installment, fair and square.

Not all the fans may think New ‘n’ Tasty is a faithful representation of the original, but for the newcomers - it sure is a good starting point. While waiting for the Soulstorm, it's a great opportunity to play the Switch port of the 6 years old remake of the 23 years old game - on the go.

Tchia is a great game to get you acquainted with New Caledonia, but even more to get you relaxed. Charming graphics and some really strong atmospheric moments make this world a joy to explore. The lack of strong story direction may put you off from playing it, but if you are the laid-back kind, it is an experience you surely will remember for a long time.

Riders Republic is a masterclass in world design and it is a truly surprising and fun experience for any extreme sports lover. It has some common drops in quality of experience, recurrent for most Ubisoft open-world games, but it still poses as a truly entertaining and original experience that will give pleasure to fans for some time, especially in a great and fun multiplayer and innovative track design and challenges.

BGA is a great strategy and even better Warhammer 40K game. Its difficulty might scare away some players, but details on ships and impeccable voice acting will thrill the die-hard fans of the universe. This is a game that is truly blessed by The Emperor.

Crimson Desert is a game you must get used to for it to get amazing. In the first few hours I wanted to give up. However, I persevered and I would regret it if I hadn’t. The sense of wonder, exploration and combat is top notch and scratches that Skyrim itch I’ve been having for years. The story is weaker and starts super “MMOish”, but it picks up the pace later and immerses you into a political and supernatural war between… well, everybody! By the 100th hour I still have not discovered everything nor did I finish the story, but there is not a minute of free time that I don’t spend playing this game. It pulled me in, and won’t let me go, and at this point, I don’t want it to.
