My Time at Portia successfully gives some original touch on the genre, managing to differ from its peers like Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon. While it has some problems with few design mechanics like crafting and small lack of dungeons to delve into, it puts player into interesting role of a builder, all while having a beautiful and cute looking world to explore.- PLAY! Far Cry 6 tries to be something new but falls short on all ideas. The Supremo backpack and the design of Yara are on point, but you will be playing the same game you’ve been playing for years now when you scratch beneath the skin of this one. If you love the Far Cry series, you will love 6, but don’t expect anything new or revolutionary during your gameplay.- PLAY! Zine

A very few games can compare to Kakarot in terms of sheer love towards the original series and storytelling qualities. Not without its set of flaws that leave only regret not being even greater, Kakarot still manages to be a great game for fans. No, scratch that. It manages to be an amazing game! When a remake strives to remain faithful to the original only on the surface, yet degrades deeper systems that previously made it great, it can never be good news. Upgrades to the original may not be that “brilliant” nor “shining”, but at its core, this game still manages to remain a fun Pokémon title. Compared to what the games were back in the day, this remake may be inferior, but still has plenty to offer to old and especially new players.- PLAY! Zine

This remaster will consolidate Jojo fans under one fighting game, as it poses with its great fighting system and absurd roster of 51 characters. Sadly, it lacks a good net code, making it a hellish online experience and regretfully leaves the story mode out and replaces it with a lacklustre all-star battle mode.- PLAY! Zine

You can't remake the charm of Banjo-Kazooie while disguising it as another game. Yooka-Laylee is a package of nostalgia that aged badly. Tribes of Midgard possesses a promising concept and great tincture of rogue-lite elements and survival genre. At the same time, it is a great co-op experience, and frustratingly annoying due to its bad balancing issues and potentially steep difficulty curve for new players to the genre. It still shines in most of its parts with its astonishing visual design and catchy gameplay loop.- PLAY! Zine

Ultimately, your decision to give LEGO Avengers a try will depend whether you grew tired of the formula we've seen in countless LEGO games so far. The humor, action-paced levels and co-op action is there, but it's really the same game we've played already.- PLAY! Zine

New character Big Khan is refreshing, and a lot of new enemies and challenges make this a proper full-blooded expansion that any fan of the base game should have.- PLAY! Zine

RAD brings us back to the 80s and 90s of the future, where the mutation is still good and it grants you the most insane powers that you can imagine. Can you utilize them to bring the power back to the people who already suffered the apocalypse twice? It's up to you to never surrender, in this imaginative and weird roguelike that is clearly not fine, but double the fine! Or just play it while waiting for Psychonauts 2, that should work fine as well.- PLAY! Zine

The final chapter in Max and Chloe’s saga ended up being... just fine. The gameplay largely sticks to the familiar formula established by its predecessors, for better or worse. Still, if you’re on board with the direction Deck Nine has taken the series, chances are you’ll find plenty to enjoy in Reunion — provided you don’t run into the same technical and graphical issues I experienced on the PS5.- PLAY! Shooting is interesting and VR experience is good, but game lacks exploration and more depth, and ultimately is only an arcade corridor shooter, which is a shame, because Aim Controller provides lots of immersion into the gameplay.- PLAY! Zine

Exception delivers a fast-paced, flashy 2.5D action that leaves you with no time to think. If you would stop and think, flaws would emerge. So too much thinking equals a lousy experience, with no exception. If your brain feels sleepy, but you wanna stay up and play some video games - this is a choice for you.- PLAY! Zine

The current-gen version of NBA 2K22 is a disappointing mess of much of the same we've seen the last few years, with the exception of a few very welcome upgrades to the gameplay. Still it is necessary to mention that asking for a full price with the lackluster support in all other segments is atrocious and sadly probably not worth your time if you played 2K21. If you are a newcomer though, gameplay changes are pretty good, and it still is the best basketball game you can afford right now.- PLAY! Zine

Tunche looks great on paper, even better in motion, but under your thumbs – it hurts like hell. A game so unfairly hard, tries its best to keep you in for longer, while overstaying its welcome. There is a quality here and it looks like a game made out of passion and love. Yet a few life-saving tweaks would not just save the game from a low score, but also your nerves after playing it for more than 30 minutes.- PLAY! Zine

MW2 Campaign Remastered is everything you can expect from a remaster of one of the best CoD campaigns and FPS campaigns in general. It looks better, it feels better, even with its occasional audio issues. Still, it is a bit short, and unless you are a true fan or just nostalgic about those days you played it, it is hard to recommend to anyone else, due to its lack of multiplayer and lack of longevity.- PLAY!
