Alone in the Dark remakes the original in all the elementary ways that were perfected a long time ago. It recreates the mechanics and the atmosphere of the first games with genuine precision yet fails to improve on the formula in any meaningful manner. It’s an experience you will probably enjoy getting bored with.- PLAY! Zine

Battlefield 2042 is technically an unfinished game that just has dozens of problems on both visual and technical levels. It poses some questionable gameplay changes, some good, some bad, but it still presents itself as a dash of fresh air with great modes like Portal and Hazard Zone. Sadly, it has so many problems on mentioned levels, with really disappointing “bloom” during shooting, that it poses itself as a pretty bad experience overall and it is really hard to recommend to anyone until it gets patched or gets additional content in the future.- PLAY! Monark brings many innovations to the table, yet ultimately feels unfinished and unpolished. Many of the traditional and obsolete aspects of the JRPG genre are present, yet if you are willing to look past them in order to reach some quality – it could truly shine up your experience. Interesting characters, mechanics and setting, may not feel enough for some, but to those that just need a long game and new ways to play, Monark is a great recommendation.- PLAY! Zine

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is coincidentally living up to its name, being a failure and potential gravedigger for the famous franchise. Riddled with Pay-to-Win microtransactions tacked on looter shooter gameplay and pretty under average storytelling, even Jon Berenthal wasn’t enough to arise this gameplay up to some decent playable heights.- PLAY! Odyssey is a terrible, unoptimized and buggy experience that has immense potential to become something great in the far future. Now, it is just a wreck with its basic combat, unplayable multiplayer and disappointing interface and mission design.- PLAY! Zine

The combat is the only thing Onikira's done right. Everything else feels flat and boring, even though the game initially shows some promise.- PLAY! Zine

Fade to Silence is a survival horror RPG simulator, which is maybe too real for its own good. Yes, the idea of living a life in harsh environment and leading a group against the monsters and the weather sounds great for a game, but we don`t think many fans of horror or simulation genre will have patience and commitment to play this game as long as it should be played.- PLAY! Gerrrms is a cute party game, that will, unfortunately, grow stale pretty fast. But if you do enjoy it more than it could ever be predicted, there's no harm to be found in this simple and colourful, harmless bacteria brawl.- PLAY! Zine

STONE represents a walking simulator with great emphasis on atmosphere and soundtrack, so expect a lot of stoner rock while trying to find your love.- PLAY! Zine

The Settlers: New Allies is a basic and easy RTS. Unfortunately, the game has no complexity for an RTS which hinders advanced strategies and even “cheese” mechanics. The campaign is forgettable, and the skirmish mode offers little in variety, not to mention the horrible multiplayer stability. I was very hopeful for a new Settlers game but got a “Babies first RTS” instead.- PLAY! Zine

Legacy of Kain: Ascendance is a direct adaptation of the Dead Shall Rise comic book which was received poorly by fans and non-fans alike. The whole game retcons the complete masterpiece that was the Legacy of Kain series and renders all choices Raziel and Kain made meaningless. The gameplay is atrocious and boring and the AI fluctuates from stupid to input reading levels. I was longing for a new Legacy of Kain game, but instead we got a bad adaptation of an even worse comic book. Crystal Dynamics should be ashamed of themselves since they knew how poorly TDSR was received. Hopefully, this will be a wake-up call that you cannot mess with the classics and reinvent the story just because you can.- PLAY! Zine

With uninspired level design, forgettable story and barely three hours of content, E.T. Armies feels more like a demo than a full game. At least the gunplay is decent.- PLAY! Zine
