Meta progression works well, giving a steady sense of unlocking new abilities and rewarding starting bonuses. However, some difficulty spikes can feel downright punishing, breaking the flow of an otherwise thrilling experience.

Wreckfest brings a lot of fun to the table and is also a great vent for piled-up aggression from bad day at school or work. If you liked games like Destruction Derby and Flatout, you will love this. Be warned, there are still some bugs in the game, but it looks like the team is actively working on fixing them.

Nintendo Switch delivers easily the best version of the game. If you are a pinball fan, you shouldn't miss this pretty detailed and complete game you can play on the go, in handheld or handheld portrait mode. Or on a TV that you gently lay down on your knees to simulate the pinball machine like a true old school fan you are. It's only a joke, don't do that.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is fundamentally a fun game, despite the fact that the series is becoming very ‘’samey’’, especially if you are a ‘’multiplayer only’’ player. Its espionage-like campaign is certainly fun and ridiculous at times, with some questionable decisions and great level design, but it still doesn’t pose as something remarkably innovative in its final product.

The gameplay and the combat of Lost Judgment are phenomenal, the story is amazing, and the side missions are, as always, an absolute blast. Despite all of the positives, the world is a little bit too overcrowded and looks like something we've already seen before from RGG.

As its predecessor, The Banner Saga 2 hits the chord with a specific audience that won't mind the brutal difficulty and random events that can cripple their armies. You might not complete the game in your first sitting, but it will be a journey worth taking.

Still the best thing for any true Football lover out there, it will take weeks and months of your life.

This remaster does not do much except adding some controller support, but it does amazing work on the visual and audio segments and just for that it deserves to be in your library even if you still have the original.

Even with its very short campaign, the game offers tremendous replay value with various challenges and modifiers. The "time moves when you move" mechanic is polished to perfection resulting in some of the most spectacular scenes in FPS games.

If you haven’t played a good roguelite title in a while, here’s a chance for something new and original. While not perfecting the genre in any sense, Dreamscaper manages to be original and fun, yet a slightly repetitive game. An atmospheric roguelite experience that won’t blow your mind but may surely make your day.

F1 23 is the best F1 game, with amazing new physics, better driving and tires, and a great story campaign. The new F1 World mode is a truly addictive and fun multiplayer experience. Even with the career remaining the same, its gameplay resembles something close to the actual F1 experience. I hope microtransactions don’t get added in the future.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 delivers a faithful yet refreshed take on two skateboarding classics, with new maps, QoL upgrades, and a massive dose of nostalgia. While some levels and tracks are missing, and a few clunky moments remain, the smooth gameplay, customisation options, and lack of microtransactions make this a must-play for fans and newcomers alike.

Eastward is an audio-visual masterpiece and a true indie gem in the action adventure genre, and even though it possesses relatively simple gameplay and puzzles, it oozes with great moments, beautiful world and heartwarming story with some of the most distinct and original characters in a while.

NBA 2K26 delivers the most polished basketball simulation yet, with smoother player movement, an improved shooting meter, and a stronger MyCareer narrative. However, persistent pay-to-win mechanics, heavy reliance on microtransactions, and occasional bugs hold it back. For die-hard fans, especially those invested in premium editions like Leave No Doubt, it’s still a must-play, but casual players may find the experience less rewarding without spending extra.

Probably the closest you'll ever get to be a hacker. A truly unique and fun game.

Children of Morta presents a really amazing story about an adventuring family out to save the world. Its mix of Rogue-lite and RPG elements make it easily accessible to expert players and new players to this genre. And even with other massive titles, it is a great indie gem that you should have.

A collection of 3 marvelous, timeless titles, that could be improved upon a bit further, but still stand strong, defying the test of time. While the price should ironically be more like 35 instead of 60 and the availability should not suffer a six months long deadline, these are still one of the best Super Mario games of all time and nothing can change that. If you can get it - get it.

Personally, I wouldn't say I liked Armored Core 6 since I was still high on the Elden Ring rush. As a rare mech game, it does a really good job at making you feel like you’re riding a powerful mech but it has little substance. Armoured Core 6 feels like a boss rush game with detail in mech customization, but the story lacks depth and engagement. Environments, granted very beautiful at times, are vast and vertical but feel like shallow backdrops or cardboard arenas you’d see in Power Rangers mech fights. AC6 will please many AC fans, but I don’t think it’s as strong as the other From Software titles.

Jamboree tones down the overall quality of its minigames but shifts up the gear when it comes to charm. Maps and the overall spirit of the world now score most of the points, with a few enjoyable new mechanics and strategies. If in doubt, you can be sure that this is one of the better titles the entire franchise has to offer.

Sadly, the narrative, the very thing BioWare was once famous for, is truly lackluster, providing us with weak characters, bad writing and pacing, while almost completely ignoring the previous DA titles.

Citizen Sleeper is an amazing piece of sci-fi media and an even better TTRPG game that will have you glued to your seat to the early hours of the morning, reading and trying to figure out how this world and its colorful characters work. If you love adventure and story in games you mustn’t pass on this one.

Burnout Paradise Remastered is the remastered version of a legendary arcade racing game. Visually, the remaster itself doesn't give you the feeling that you're playing a modern racing game, the game is polished, but it still feels outdated. That being said, it's still fun to play if you liked the original, though now you can play in 4k and 60fps with all DLC included, and with an original banging soundtrack.

Skywalker Saga is one of the best, if not the best Lego games we experienced. It is content-filled, it evolved its combat and gameplay, and it is just gigantic in scale and atmosphere that it will be a delight for all Lego and Star Wars fans alike. It may not possess the most complex or satisfying combat or gameplay systems but it will easily pull you into the world of Star Wars.

Severed is not without its share of flaws, but they're overwhelmed by the amazing atmosphere that creates tension and even fear while you're slicing you way through this Dia de los Muertos-inspired adventure.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a great game about a couple of siblings with very different lives, forced to survive in a dangerous world, constantly on the run. Asobo studio manages to tell this dark tale really well, always keeping the player on the edge of the seat, questioning which of the many enemies will get them first.

Burning Shores is just more of the original game, yet prettier, with more breathtaking views. While it’s an essential addition to the franchise, it will hardly attract any new fans.

Torment excels at great narrative and storytelling, colorful characters and integrative quest lines. Wonderful and weird world of Numenera will soak you in for dozens of hours, but weak fight mechanics will definitely turn off some hardcore RPG players.

It’s such a rare occurrence for a game to age this well when it comes to its gameplay. And being able to re-experience this jewel on modern platforms is a special kind of treat. An absolute evergreen, full of fast and fun activities and dozens of secrets that make you go „yay“ every time you discover one. A huge recommendation, if you can get past the old school graphics and level design.

Another "strange" game from Blendo, Quadrilateral Cowboy feels more like a proof of concept that will leave you just wanting from it to be more, well, everything. It sets its concepts up nicely, but doesn't do much with them.

Live A Live not only brings a decades-old Japan exclusive to the west, but it also vastly improves it in the audio and visual sense. Flaws of the original are still present, but as a refreshed gem from the past, Live A Live is something every fan of the genre should give a chance to.

Assassin’s Creed: Shadows is the best entry in the series since Origins — a stunning visual achievement with a solid gameplay loop that, unfortunately, loses momentum over time and is held back by a weak story.

Now that the season is complete, we can conclude that the latest Hitman was one solid stealth adventure, providing huge open levels for players to explore on their own. Agent 47, although quite old, is still alive and kicking.

Fuser is a toy that wants to be a video game. The controls are not intuitive, the vision is limited, and the campaign is cringy to the core. I see that this game had its vision, but it fell through somewhere so they gave us a bunch of mixing options, some popular songs and slapped a steep price on it that is not worth the admission. I would much rather buy a real turntable than spend money on Fuser.

Sony made a great decision in bringing this charming IP to PS4. Just like the Vita version, Unfolded has the same great feel of utilizing the hardware in an interesting and fun way.

Nadeo turned to what they know best and what was the most logical solution for them – they used the “essence” of what makes Trackmania fun, then upgraded and published it. But they also missed some opportunities to make Turbo even more interesting.

WWE 2K24 is probably the most complete and refined edition to date, especially under 2K. It presents really fun and in-depth MyGM and Universe modes, and while its MyRise and Showcase modes could bring more to the table, its fun gameplay and focus on actual singleplayer fun starts slowly redeeming the franchise after some serious pitfalls in the past. Well, unless you are a PC player…

It presents great storytelling influenced by writer’s diabolical cosmic horrors and at the same time, it is a fully-fledged fun turn-based RPG that lives up to the names of much more famous and expensive games in the genre.

Children of the Sun is a fun sniper shooting puzzler that offers very engaging gameplay, but just as it uses its mechanics to its fullest potential, it ends before you even realize it. It is very light on its story but flourishes with such a great dark atmosphere and flavour that it makes you wish it explored its world more and offered additional levels or alternate game modes.

Whether you're looking for several hours of mystery and drama or just a magnificent world to explore, do yourself a favor and spare a few hours of your time to experience Firewatch.

Darkest Dungeon II retained a lot of features that made the original great, implementing some new challenging mechanics as well. The sequel kept that unique ‘’Darkest Dungeon feel’’, yet it gave us a completely new experience.

A truly great experience for those who want to have fun while solving wacky puzzles. Also game design and sound effects are really cute. Chuchel is a love at first sight.

Sparking! Zero is not only a superb return to a phenomenal franchise, but it also looks spectacular. Sadly, it is neither easy nor satisfying to learn how it’s meant to be played, but for a casual player who has a couple of friends he wants to clash beams with, it’s one of the most beautiful games the franchise ever blessed us with.

Marathon is a highly polished and deeply engaging extraction shooter with exceptional gunplay and atmosphere. Its hardcore PvP focus and punishing design won’t appeal to everyone, but those who stick with it will find a rewarding and addictive experience.

Full Body is another proof that Atlus and Shigenori Soejima are master storytellers, presenting this remake of cult PS3 classic as another improved lunge into depths of human emotion. It is funny, witty, dark and serious at the same time, all while pushing the player through difficult(or not so much on Safety mode) puzzle sequences, with some of the greatest OSTs rolling in the background.

Experience world-famous trucks and deliver various cargo across sunny Michigan, snowy Alaska and beautiful Taymyr. SnowRunner takes you on a journey through the breathtaking landscapes and widely recognised landmarks. The game isn't easy, you need to carefully think about every move you make, but that's why it's actually so rewarding. Having said that, it's a niche video game and will not be to everyone's taste.

CONVERGENCE: A League of Legends Story is another great title set in the well-established LoL universe. With some classic Metroidvania elements and innovative additions, CONVERGENCE offers an amazing gameplay experience. Even if you’re not that big of a fan of the genre, the game is worth trying out just for its beautiful art style and top-notch visuals.

A very special gaming experience that no RPG fan should miss, especially this brand new version that improved an already great game.

How can you make something different from amazing, but still just as amazing? I have no idea, but Ni No Kuni II managed to do just that. A few minor flaws can't touch the grand pattern, made up of a great story, beautiful visuals, fun mechanics and memorable characters. Ni No Kuni II is still just that - amazing. Do not miss it.

Where Bravely Default excelled, Bravely Second repeats that success and leaves us with a heartwarming tale. One of the greatest 3DS titles to date and surely the crème de la crème of modern JRPG titles.

Origins is the newest installment in rather worn out series and a much appreciated and needed refresh. New combat and graphically fantastic environment with tons of content will gave you some nice moments. The game is not a blast but it is a proof that AC is back on the right track again, for now.

If you want to scratch that retro Doom FPS itch, Prodeus could be just the game to do it for you. The Switch version is inferior to other platforms hence even more retro, but the true magic lies within its fast-paced gameplay and lots of enemies to cut through with a flashy arsenal. If you like games like these, give Prodeus a chance.

Project CARS delivers on its promise. Slightly Mad Studios made a game that has enough unique elements in a genre where innovation is not something we see often. A must play for any driving game enthusiast.

Skyward Sword was and still remains to be one of the greatest Zelda titles of all time. Fans of the original formula might not agree, but innovative, intuitive, and different style of gameplay, always boldly stood their ground in face of the critique that yearns for the familiar experience. HD remaster is undoubtedly well earned, and while it hits many points on improving the sluggish aspects of the original, the very core remains intact. Yet even after it all, the biggest regret might be a missed opportunity to improve on the graphics that needed more than a resolution boost. But either way, it is an experience that is very easy to recommend, yet even easier to fall in love with. You may even find it to be just perfect - just for you.

If you never loved the Monster Hunter series, yet you found yourself intrigued by it, this could be your moment to fall in love with its world. The original Stories was an easily overlooked game since it was exclusive to the 3DS. However, this sequel is not just more available, but also an amazing and charming title on its own. And players that don't mind the more simple stories will have nothing but love for this sweet little adventure, which is anything but tiny.

Keeper is an atmospheric, meditative adventure that blends minimalist storytelling with visual poetry in true Double Fine fashion. While its environmental puzzles are simple and its mechanics somewhat underused, it offers a cozy experience for players seeking pure relaxation rather than a tough challenge.

If you loved what Stranger Things did with 80s, you will love this game. Retro text adventures are a hard thing to sell to modern generations, but this game knows how to do it.

Fun and innovative fusion of Metroidvania and monster taming genre with the fast and surprisingly complex turn-based combat system. Coupled with a huge roster of acquirable monsters and over 20h of gameplay, it is well worth its asking price of only 20$.

It might take a lot to make a stew, but Overcooked brews one delicious soup that's ideal for those gatherings where you just need a little break and have a hilarious bit of fun.

Except for making the game more widely available, the PlayStation 4 version brings almost nothing new. It is still that old, fun, and loveable game it was back in 2021, which raises the question: when can we expect the sequel?

In Battlefield V we got back to WW2, but with refined gunplay and death system which works great. There are also little problems such as low number of maps and stability issues, that are taking the fun away, but nothing that can't be fixed.

Truly a return to form for the masterpiece that was, and still is, the Syberia series, with some interesting modifications to the interaction with the environment. The game could use a manual save, but all in all, Syberia: The World Before is a textbook game in the genre.

UbiSoft managed to bring the same authentic South Park humor and atmosphere as Obsidian did with the previous game.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! is a delightful remake of a Yakuza spin-off that genuinely does the original justice, expanding on the combat and making it even more fun. It offers an exciting murder mystery story and crazy side activities that may be a bit more serious this time (just a tad, though).

Fun combat, spectacular action sequences, an atmospheric world, glorious visuals, an intriguing story and loads of interesting model choices are all the vitamins a developing gamer needs. A truly stellar experience.

We are yet to witness a bad Image & Form game, as the latest SteamWorld instalment is amazing as usual! Great turn-based combat, likeable characters, story, and graphics, are just a fragment of a magic formula, that can obviously summon an awesome and entertaining title with ease. Do not miss it.

Treyarch didn’t try to reinvent the wheel. Ton of content and a pretty polished CoD experience. Campaign could be better, but it’s the multiplayer that really counts, and this time around, it delivers.

Watching your opponent fall right into your trap or hitting him with pinpoint accuracy are just some of the priceless moments Atlas Reactor provides. It is a truly one of kind game that mixes several genres into something weird and brilliant.

Lost Ark is a competent MMOARPG that has visceral combat and interesting side systems. The end game is what this MMO is all about, but the levelling experience is streamlined and easy with beautifully directed set pieces and action scenes. Infrastructure issues and huge queue times on the EU servers cast an ugly shadow on an otherwise great game.

Just what the adrenaline junkies wanted for so many years, Redout is an audio-visual bomb that manages to deliver impressive sense of speed, brilliant track design and a thumping soundtrack.

A great game, and finally on a system that can run it properly.

WRC 9 is one of the best rally games to date. It still is a simcade, but remains true to its formula, giving players a lot of new content with upgrades around every corner and on each course.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits has many strengths, but because of that all the flaws tend to stick out even stronger. The lack of polish makes this magical world feel a bit artificial. All that is great about it, truly is amazing. But when you grab the controller itself, you will feel every bump down this 10 hour long road.

Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny Remaster brings the PS2 classic to modern platforms with sharper visuals, smoother controls, and quality-of-life tweaks. It stays true to the original’s samurai-demon slashing roots while adding widescreen support, instant weapon switching, and brutal new difficulty modes. Dorfromantik is a gorgeous indie gem that presents its player with the tranquility of building a romantic German village. It is a truly relaxing experience, where its simplicity truly shines. Chasing that high score with its tile placement gameplay can be utter fun, even though it may not be for everyone, it is truly a masterful experience that presents much needed respite in these times.

Fire Emblem Engage combines some of the renowned elements of older titles and pushes them through a more modern presentation. It looks great, plays even better, and a few additional modes are a nice bonus. While the essence of the series remains to be improved in the future, especially when it comes to a fair way to level up characters or navigate through somewhat clunky menus, Fire Emblem Engage has to be one of the best instalments the series has to offer.
