Jan 14, 2020Where the Arland series introduced me to Atelier, it was the Dusk series that really solidified in my mind that it really had become my favourite JRPG property. By the end of Shallie I was six titles in and knew I would play anything else that came out of Gust the second it landed. If you're one of those that is new to Atelier (and thanks to Ryza I know that there are a lot of you out there), then here's your chance to catch up on three of the most distinctive and interesting JRPGs of the PlayStation 3 era.

Jan 28, 2020Three large games, all solid in their own right, now refined with slight visual upgrades, all their DLC which includes playable episodes, characters, and costumes, as well as the ability to toggle running during Exploration and fast-forward during Battles makes this the best way to play these Atelier games. At $90 for the complete set, it feels a little pricey, however. Regardless, whether you’re a newcomer to the franchise or just nostalgic for last-gen’s Ateliers, this deluxe trilogy set is an easy recommendation to consider adding to your digital library.

Jun 25, 2020The Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack is expensive, but that $90 is probably the best JRPG bang for your buck that you can get on the PS4. It contains three excellent games that all offer a huge amount of content. None of them are flawless, but they are charming, cute, and incredibly easy to pick up and play. If you're a fan of the Atelier franchise or are just looking for some light, casual JRPGs to play, this is the collection you want.

Jan 14, 2020The Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack brings three excellent Atelier games to modern systems with most of the previous DLC and while these are great entry points to the series, the ports could have been better.

Playstation Official Magazine UKFeb 9, 2020Creating new items isn’t just the purpose of quests, it helps you get stronger so you can explore further afield. It’s a satisfying loop that makes you feel in control. Each game offers something unique, and together they’re a huge saga that’s still well worth playing, and represents Atelier at its most ambitious. [Issue#172, p.80]

Jan 15, 2020Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack offers three well aged and better rejuvenated titles. The additional features of the new edition, however, do not change the fact that these are games loved by a fairly small audience, capable of carving out time, patience and attention for much quieter games than a Square Enix Final Fantasy or even a Senran Kagura by Tarsoft, but still able to give at their own pace the same emotions, if not more.
-
Jan 23, 2020Atelier Dusk Trilogy -and generally the Atelier series- mostly relates to an audience that does not seek a major challenge or important stories and plots with memorable characters, since the only thing it offers is an experience that thrives through harvest and crafting.
