Atelier Dusk Trilogy is a good chance for those who missed these episodes to get back to the Dusk setting; however, newcomers may find better outings in the most recent episodes of the Atelier series.

Newer entries are probably better games, but these are solid JRPGs, and this is a great opportunity for newcomers to discover the franchise.

The DX port does a lot of quality of life improvements and brings the whole Dust trilogy to a new light with increased resolution and more colourful graphics. If you have not before played the Atelier series this is a perfect game to start and show what it's all about.

The world setting of the Dusk Trilogy is one of the bleakest of all the Atelier games but that doesn’t mean that it’s a depressing story. The enthusiastic and endearing alchemists persevere through this dark world to create a warm uplifting tale that’s sure to put a smile on your face. All three games will see you exploring, crafting, and battling monsters but there are plenty of differences between each game that keep things really engaging and a real pleasure to play though.

Atelier Dusk Trilogy -and generally the Atelier series- mostly relates to an audience that does not seek a major challenge or important stories and plots with memorable characters, since the only thing it offers is an experience that thrives through harvest and crafting.
