A decent expansion to a good series. Innovative setting or exciting plot has not been Nival’s strong side previously, and Tribes of the East is not an exception. It however is more enjoyable gaming for the warlord who hasn’t yet got his fill of the original game, with familiar mechanics and a few new additions to make it feel fresh enough. Some scenarios feel a bit too restrictive at times, a trait familiar from the earlier games too, but not so much as to take much fun out of the game. Addition of campaign editor is good news, but how the community makes use of it remains to be seen. [Jan 2008]

Table Tennis Wii is the same game as the Xbox 360 version. Nothing’s changed apart from the controls. Rockstar has done fine job adapting the controls to suit Wii’s nunchuk and Wiimote. The game is at its best when played with friends. Because of the lack of career mode single play gets boring quite fast. All in all Table Tennis is a great party game even though the single play is lacking. [Dec 2007]

A nice change of pace from the normal fast-paced action games of late. Observing the environment and enemies before making the right choices is good fun, even if the clumsy interface and slow-moving character try to mess the experience up. Not everyone's cup of tea, but fans of Hitman should be right at home here. [Nov 2007]

Contains some of the best moments ever seen in first person shooters. Half-Life 2 is a true classic and would be worth getting for Xbox 360 or PC even without the additional features of The Orange Box. Team Fortress may be old but is streamlined to perfection, and Portal is damn fun, with one of the best endings ever. [Nov 2007]

Shares most of the same flaws and virtues than its predecessor. The story starts off a bit too slow and the constant need for spirit energy can be a pain at times, but the pace picks up nicely towards the end. There's tons of stuff to do and in that regard Mask feels more like a completely new sequel than just a normal expansion pack. [Nov 2007]

Great immersion, good graphics and awesome sounds... and absolutely fun to play! In the other hand, not much evolution compared to earlier Simbin games. Still no real-like rain (like in GP4) and still too low damage sensitivity and too simple damage model. Two formula cars are welcomed add-on, however their drivability and grip feel should be better. I hope these formula cars are profecy of F1 racing game from Simbin in future. Again great game for sim veterans and normal players. [Nov 2007]

The bikes are fun to drive against human opponents and drifting with the cars is still fun. The core game hasn’t lost its basic charm but there is very little properly new. A charmingly beautiful little adventure to watch but a horrendously awful game to play. The clumsy combat mechanics, generally unpleasant gameplay and violently unfair difficulty make this one of the most unpleasant gaming experiences of the year. It may look cute, but make no mistake: it's evil. [May 2008]

The PS2 version is a generic action-adventure movie rip-off that manages to bore from the start to the finish. [June 2007]

Day Watch should have been a no-brainer: just do another game like Night Watch. But for some reason things have gone downhill. There is too little action and too many boring cutscenes. You are forced to play as a next-to-useless witch. And the list goes on and on. [Aug 2007]

Shrek the Third doesn't even try to be passable. It's a children's game, but that's not an excuse to make the game repetetive, too easy and just damn boring. There's enough basic platformers in this world even without the new Shrek game. [Oct 2007]

Infernal borrows a lot ideas from classic action adventures like "Deus Ex," but manages to stand on its own two feet. Awesome graphics, brisk action and realistic environments make Infernal well worth a try. [Apr 2007]

The true heir of the classic X-COM and almost as addictive. However, the game has a multitude of irritating design flaws that need correcting. [June 2007]

ArmA: Armed Assault is "Operation Flashpoint 2007" in both the good and the bad. The good far outweigh the bad, though, and I can hardly wait for the game to be properly finished. For a game of this calibre, I will gladly endure and finance the beta testing. [Apr 2007]

Offers a captivating mix of genres. The shell game works very well, actual fighting is only OK. The weapons are not very cool, and team members should be able to defend themselves automatically. There is still no destructible environment or randomly generated battlefields, either. Come on, Altair! [Mar 2007]

A decent enough action-adventure in the vein of GTA and Crackdown. Spider-Man's web-slinging abilities are depicted very well. Go for the Xbox 360 version, the rest are not worth your time. [June 2007]

The season finale sums up all that is great in the series. The music and the voice acting are good and the humour is witty. All the pieces are in the right places. [June 2007]
