One of the best light gun games ever made. High-intensity zombie blasting is still decent fun and the cheesy dialogue is better than ever. Still, for two very short retro games, one must have the genre close at heart to make the asking price worth it. Also, the first HOTD should have been included no matter how dated it might look. A straight port from PSP-version. Compared to previous PS2 games, controls are cluncky and graphics are very rough. Story is still quite funny, but everything else has been seen before. Size matters, but the bigger is not better. [Apr 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

No more frustrating fiddling with vague motion sensing remote. Controls are accurate and Brawl supports almost any pad you can plug it in. It's fast and furious and on the bonus side, Super Smash Bros. Brawl suits perfectly for the beginners and advanced gamers. [June 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Bully: Scholarship Edition is not head of its class anymore, but fun and entertaining adventure nonetheless. The tried and true Grand Theft Auto thrown into a boarding school setting defends its place well on the newer consoles too, despite the age already apparent when the facelifted graphics of Xbox 360 version are compared to the new generation standards. But still, Rockstar's strong points have always been excellent characterization and captivating storyline on semi-open sandbox setting, and that Bully delivers very well. [May 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

The Lost Crown is a solid ghost-hunting adventure with well-designed puzzles and storyline. The visual design is original. both photographic backgrounds and well used colouring add to the game's eerie atmosphere. There are many flaws, though: you can't skip the dialogue, there's a lot of frustrating walking to and fro etc. But even with its many flaws The Lost Crown is well worth the money. The best PSP game in a while. Drumming and chaining your attack, defence, advance and retreat commands is fun and intense. Wonderfully animated and stylish graphics with cheery songs create a great atmosphere and building and improving your troops adds depth to the game. Some of the missions could have used more variety when it comes to the needed tactics. [Apr 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

A refreshingly old-fashioned shooter that is sure to entertain you for a while with its lightning-fast action and pretty visuals. Regrettably the simplicity of the game also makes it a fairly shallow experience that will not hold your interest for a long time. [Feb 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

A very relaxing music game where you pilot a futuristic vehicle and race different tracks. You can add your own music into the game and the songs will be transformed into new racing tracks, so you will always have plenty of different types of tracks. The game mechanics and graphics are pretty simple, which is a bit disappointing. [May 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

A well-polished remake of the excellent action RPG from PC. It is only due to the far too simplified and illogical character class system that the new version falls slightly behind the original. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Black Plague ends the story that began in Overture, and it does the job pretty nicely. Black Plague is more than just a polished version of Overture. Leaving out all the combat was a smart move and makes the game much more scarier. The puzzles are decent and even though there are clichees in the story, it has enough twists to make the story feel not worn-out. In my opinion, Penumbra duology is one of the best horror-adventures available for PC at the moment. [Mar 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

If it has zombies, it can't be bad - at least not, when we're talking about Sam&Max adventure. After a little bit boring second episode NRV takes the series back where it belongs: to the top five of the recent adventure genre. Equipped with witty humor, funny characters and completely absurd plot the night of the living dead is worth every penny. Some puzzles are a little bit illogical and not all the jokes are funny, but so what? [June 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Tries meekly to combine some adventure to minigames (attractions) with revolting results in Story Mode. Minigames are too repetetive and simple while the story "developement" is a joke, to name a few faults. The original Bomberman (Battle Mode) works well though but that does not save the whole. Go for DS version and ignore this. [May 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Offers plenty of minigames (attractions) in Story Mode. They are clever enough to make a fun gaming experience for quite a while. The use of stylus is essential and adds up the the pleasure. The original style Bomberman is included as Battle Mode. More complex puzzles, twists in the plot and less one dimensional characters would have made this a gem instead of just a jolly nice game. Compared to the horrid Wii-version this is a masterpiece though. [May 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Having a big wide open playing area is a nice addition in many ways but unfortunately in the current form the pros don’t outweight the cons. Having to find your own route doesn’t quite fit the series and the dreadful car navigation system doesn’t help either. Also having to drive back to the starting line to restart a race is a big flaw and the decission to replace Crash with boring Showtime is bizarre. Still the basis of the game is so strong that even with obvious flaws the game is still quite fun especially in multiplayer. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

A game that stirs up mixed feelings. The sword fighting is fun and the quirky originality of the dialogue, style and atmosphere make a lot for the negatives, namely the boring side jobs and the dead GTA style city. Also the visuals are a mixed bag. The cartoony characters look good and the retro touches are wonderful. On the other hand many places are bland and down right ugly. The bloodless European version feels neutered. Still overall, No More Heroes is a positive and refreshing experience. [May 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Definitely feels like a part of the series but it's also refreshingly new. Pirates of the Burning Sea is basically Sid Meier's Pirates! as a MMORPG. High points of the game are the ship battles and a detailed, working economy, but the swashbuckling episodes and rather mediocre graphics are a bit of a letdown. Looks and sounds great and the free-form gameplay with the nanosuit never gets old. Unfortunately the choices player can make lessen more and more towards the end of the game, where you are just forced to shoot things out. The end of the game is simply stupid, everything stops just when the final chapter is supposed to start. Puts player in a rather awkward role. You essentially play a person who hasn’t made a single good decision in his life. When none of your actions hold any kind of moral high-ground the whole experience starts to feel like a total downer. While the story certainly has an impact, the actual gameplay does not. A true blast from the past, turn based fantasy strategy in the spirit of old classics from 90s. A bold move that succeeds. Darkness Within is a good detective adventure made in the spirit of H.P. Lovecraft. The storyline is intriguing and the puzzles are logical as well as challenging. The think screen interface is a nice innovation, which I’d like to see in future games, too. Hellgate: London takes the elements that made the Diablo series classic, and puts them in new, invigorating setting of demonic threat, dark magic and high technology. The fresh world of Hellgate: London is its greatest asset, but sadly the game fails in capitalizing it properly, with quite shoddy plot and generic missions outside the main story. A superb F/A-18A Hornet, carrier operations, air racing support, a fine medium-lift helicopter with a hoist and slingload capability add even more replayability to FSX. [Feb 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Suffers from the official license. The whole street racing culture just doesn't fit into official closed races, the feel is simply gone. There is no traffic, no cops, no free feeling of open road. There are also way, way too few tracks to choose from. The tuning, though quite fun, suffers from the same lack of variety. [Nov 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Hard to be a God is very hardcore old school rpg that has its moments. Mounted combat is fun, but normal combat is frustratingly difficult. The bad Borat-style translation makes for some hilarious moments but slows down the narrative at the same time. [Mar 2008]- Pelit (Finland)
