Hitman: Blood Money is the turbocharged, ultra-sophisticated version of the previous Hitmans. As such, I liked it a lot, but at the same time there was the feeling that I have now murdered everyone there is to murder. Next time, something radically new is needed. [June 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

A decent add-on, but lacks the drive that made the original game so good. The graphics are still great. [May 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

An enjoyable, light simulator. The plane selection (with NATO Fighters mods) makes me feel like a kid in a candy store. I just wish the AI was more challenging and that the multiplayer features were better. I also would not mind having proper labels for improved situational awareness. [Dec 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Heroes of Might and Magic V is like meeting an old friend. There is not really that much new if you have played the earlier games, but who cares when the new version is both addictive and beautiful to watch. [June 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Advance Wars for PSP. Luckily there are also new ideas, like stackable units, mines and destructible forest. Too bad it is only for two players. [Sept 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

After 14 years it still makes you smile and it is still fun to play. You have to love the little creatures. [Mar 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

A technically sound, if a bit too easy and short action-adventure. The three significantly different heroes are a nice touch. But why buy the movie licence, if the game has little to do with the movie? [June 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

A decent adventure with interesting themes and puzzles. Too bad the combat and stealth sections are not up to par. Choosing the easiest battle difficulty lets the puzzles take the centre stage – as they should. [June 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Old school 2D works just as well as it did 15 years ago. The difficulty level is set too low, but even if you rush through the game, there is still loads to explore afterwards. [Aug 2006, p.50]- Pelit (Finland)

The second game from Big Huge Game designer Brian Reynolds takes careful steps to renew real-time strategy gaming, but does not dare step far enough. The game is beautiful and has lots of great ideas, but lacks in feeling, mostly due to bad sound effects. [June 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

A great concept, but lacks in execution. Less generic fantasy clichés, more variety to the RTS part and character development, and it would have been more than just a nice game. [June 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Desperados 2: Cooper’s Revenge continues on its predecessor’s path. The gameplay, graphics and characters are great. Add to that the Morricone-like music and you have a Wild West addict’s dream. Still, the game falls short of masterpiece status, because of too much frustrating sneaking, some graphics bugs and the occasionally stupid AI. [June 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Guild Wars: Factions expands the original game with a new, fresh-looking Oriental-style campaign and new play modes for PvP. Its greatest asset is still the lack of monthly fees, but it is also a good MMORPG with lots of PvP content and a fantastic skill system. [June 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent war game. Blitzkrieg fixes almost all of the problems the first game had (a small Africa etc). The AI could still be better, though. [May 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Thanks to PC controls, shooting is no longer a source of constant irritation and the game can really shine. CoC in an excellent horror adventure. Fear and loss of sanity can really be seen and felt. The game is faithful to Cthulhu mythos, full of memorable scenes and has the only ending there can be. [Apr 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Innovative features together with realism and playability make it a must-have for American Civil War enthusiasts and recommendable to all tactical-scale wargamers. The lack of strategic elements is a bit disappointing, though. [Aug 2006, p.55]- Pelit (Finland)

At times, the slow-paced item-hunting can get boring, but the colourful graphics, good charactes and fast-paced battles more than make up for it. [Oct 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

A decent flight shoot 'em up that tries hard to look like a simulator. The flying is too easy for its own good and the enemy AI is too repetitive. More sci-fi missions would not have hurt, either. [Sept 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Yet another collection of separate ideas, which do not work together. The simplistic and far-too-easy gameplay is insulting. Maybe someone with actual gaming experience could make Black & White finally work? [June 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Mad Max brought to MMORPG world, finally! Too bad that action-packed fighting is almost the only thing the excellent setting is used for, at least for now. Luckily the action is all good and enjoyable. [Apr 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Bone: Out from Boneville & The Great Cow Race are good fun even for beginners. The Great Cow Race is much better than the shaky first episode, being more non-linear, having tighter gameplay and expanding on the comic's story instead of just retelling it. [Jan 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Tomb Raider: Legend successfully brings the legend back in a movie-like experience. Great on atmosphere, tempo and diversity, but a bit short on content. The gunfights are passable, but the bike levels are just plain weak. [May 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Weird and funny at the same time. As a pinball it is nothing extraordinary and in a strategic sense it is quite simple. But when both the elements are combined, the result is much more than you would expect. [May 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Commandos Strike Force sounds at first like sacrilege, but surprisingly, it remembers its roots. The mix of stealth and action works well and the pacing is good. The game is a fun, basic stealth shooter, nothing more, nothing less. [May 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

A beautiful and realistic motorcycle simulation. Not as deep as its parent game Gran Tourismo 4, though. With four drivers at most, the races can get a little bland, especially if you have a superior (or inferior) bike. [June 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

A fantasy-filled adventure with an extraordinarily magical atmosphere. The puzzles are great, the interface is simple but good, and the school of magic is terrific. Although there is too much running back-and-forth, Keepsake is an adventure worth playing. [May 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

A solid and fun first-person shooter. Unfortunately, it doesn’t quite have the next-generation visuals. While the jungles look pleasant enough, the numerous in-door areas are nothing short of fugly. [Apr 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

The first eight hours are pure boredom but when the storyline picks up, things start happening. The plot and the characters are both excellent and the fighting-system works well. Without the slow start, this might have been the best in the series. [Dec 2006, p.82]- Pelit (Finland)

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion finally has what the other Elder Scrolls games have striven for: a fascinating and believable fantasy world with tons of things to do and enjoy. A game that tries to be every major street driving game you can imagine. At the end of the day, Driver: Parallel Lines feels a bit dated and jaded. Some fun car chases and over-the-roof-top racing, though. And yes, good music. [Apr 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Far from a run-of-the-mill WW2 shooter. The game is all about realism, which makes the infantry and tank combat intense and exciting. The lack of a proper single player campaign is a bit of a letdown, but the great multiplayer action compensates for that. [May 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

It has been a while since the MMORPG genre saw an innovative game. Turbine's latest feels very much like the tabletop RPG in digital form.
