Not content to simply port a classic title to a newer, portable platform, Square Enix has added beautifully animated, watercolor-style cutscenes complete with fantastic voice acting. These help convey a tale that is complex, dark, and strikingly human in nature. If you're a fan of strategy games and/or good stories, this is a must-play.… Expand

    Immensely enjoyable as it was the first time I played FFT on the PSone all those years ago. Unfortunately I don't have a copy of the Immensely enjoyable as it was the first time I played FFT on the PSone all those years ago. Unfortunately I don't have a copy of the PSone version as I borrowed it from a friend when I first played it and it was never officially released in Australia. But I love the new anime cutscenes, a brilliant concept and really captures the feel of FFT and draws you into the game. I don't know why some reviewers have said its too hard, its very difficult yes but enjoyably difficult never frustratingly so. A real faithful remake of the classic, I'm so glad the developers employed a 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' attitude to the game while still adding loads of enjoyable new content. My only gripe with it was finding a copy of it, its been flying off the shelves faster than it can be restocked. Well I guess that tells you something about the quality of the game!!… Expand
