The Spirit of the Samurai is a very creative and ambitious game, although with nuances. It is a game that presents an interesting story, but its execution on a playable level leaves something to be desired. Its strong point is its agile and entertaining combat system, which invites us to dodge at the last moment and combine the temporary improvements that we have acquired. The open world that invites us to go through the playlists, before unlocking fast travel, is aesthetically appealing, but it feels like a ghost town where nothing happens and our gameplay loop lacks basic fun. The playlists are a great aspect, but not all of them are interesting to explore, leaving aside the strong offering of vehicles with anecdotal experiences that aren't all that worthwhile.
