The Heist has us still hungry for more. The first Spider-Man DLC is a very short experience with a predictible ending, and despite the well-written Black Cat addition and some good ideas, it’s pretty disappointing.- Jeuxvideo.com

More successful than Asterix & Obelix XXL 3, OSome Studio's work has a few flaws, but can count on its most successful Celtic atmosphere, its fun fights (with a host of interactive objects) and its humor. It's not perfect yet, but the Lyon team doesn't lack much to cap the best titles of the genre. The big leap for 2023?- Jeuxvideo.com

To play Genesis Noir is to dive into a universe of rare originality. Supported by incredible artistic direction, the narrated story holds great moments. Unfortunately, on the gameplay side, it's a bit of a playful black hole. The few puzzles follow each other and look alike, without great genius or great inventiveness. Although the aesthetic balance / game mechanics is totally unbalanced, the title of Fellow Traveler is interesting to browse. A trip like no other that looks at itself more than it plays: our eyes sparkle, but our hands do not fully benefit from it.- Jeuxvideo.com

As a whole, the game is interesting, thanks to a (too?) complete customization system and complementary superheroes. On the other hand, the player often finds himself confronted with awkward choices and great redundancy synonymous with repetitive missions... Although Crystal Dynamics has, unlike BioWare with Anthem, avoided the trap of unbalanced loot, the game remains, as it is, simply attractive if not essential.- Jeuxvideo.com

Without showing any great singularity, A Juggler's Tale stands out with a beautiful atmosphere, a few nicely sketched sets and a handful of well-thought-out puzzles. But the lack of comfort felt during the crossing lacks an experience that is a bit too short and generic to really score. With better handling and some additional originalities, the game could have been a real success. Pity.- Jeuxvideo.com

Highly relaxing, sometimes too much perhaps, Lake offers an escape of a few hours that is not refused when one seeks a purely restful narrative experience. The interactive story shaped by Gamious also benefits from a great deal of authenticity and choice of dialogues that allow the player to feel truly engaged. Too bad the adventure is based on a pattern that does not evolve enough, a too languid pace and a scenario that fails to touch us fully.- Jeuxvideo.com

Redfall is a hodgepodge of influences that fails to excel in the many categories it aims for. Far from being uninteresting, in particular thanks to a quality level design and cogs that fit together rather well in its main systems, the title of Arkane Austin is disappointing compared to the pedigree of the studio. Unlike Prey, the game design is not brilliant or original, but in return, the app is surely the most accessible game imagined by Harvey Smith. This adventure to be lived in co-op, featuring vampires who have managed to hide the sun, is to be tested with friends thanks to the Game Pass before it is overshadowed by other outings. Bethesda's action game will divide, but not rule.- Jeuxvideo.com

White Shadows contains a seductive architecture and a perfectly disturbing atmosphere which owes a lot to its sound design. But the trip is not contemplative enough to overcome the lack of energy from which the level design suffers. The game draws on inspirations already very often exploited without managing to stand out during its journey of only 2.5 hours.- Jeuxvideo.com

Rich and demanding, the clashes are gripping, worthy of frenzied chess games during which each placement must be thought out and calculated. On the other hand, the title is served by its technical shortcomings, a lack of depth in its dialogues, as well as a difficult attachment to the characters. Despite everything, Monark knows how to establish itself as an experience to live for any J-RPG lover looking for strategic brawls that oppose him with some resistance.- Jeuxvideo.com

Kirby's Dream Buffet is to be considered as an ideal little game for very short fun sessions with family or friends in a universe that frankly holds up. However, the experience is still very limited in terms of content, updates are now expected to expand the activities. Finally, it is a pity that the game on the same console is limited to a maximum of two players.- Jeuxvideo.com

Breathedge ultimately remains fairly classic in its survival mechanics and does not succeed in everything it undertakes in this area. It turns out to be rather repetitive and unfortunately quite timid in its call for exploration, a shame, given the beauty and originality of its yet attractive universe. In addition, the game also sins with some unfortunate choices regarding inventory management, the resource collection loop or the durability of equipment, too ephemeral. With a shift in tone at the midpoint, which relegates survival to the closet, the Breathedge experience is not always balanced, despite some real good ideas and a story that follows without displeasure, for a little one. about twenty hours.- Jeuxvideo.com

The result is a rather confused adventure, where the player is easily lost between two puzzles. The whole thing is not helped by a script and an uninteresting universe. However, some good game design ideas, like the possibility of entering inside certain mechanisms, hit the mark. And the diversity of the puzzles is to be welcomed. A Dark Matter is thus a pleasant title despite its flaws. But far from being a must in VR.- Jeuxvideo.com

Wrath of the Druids is an interesting DLC because of its generosity but which is sorely lacking in originality and new elements compared to Valhalla. Offering 10 to 15 hours of scripted adventure, it extends the experience, serving us Ireland on a set. However, we would have appreciated a more in-depth treatment of the druids, relegated to the rank of obscure threat like “Order of the Ancients” and a much better balanced difficulty, just to do honor to the various quests, both main and secondary.- Jeuxvideo.com

While it is not a bad game, Empire of Sin is sometimes disappointing in that it fails to give shape to complementary ideas that could have been good. If the first hours in the game are rather pleasant and that we take pleasure in growing his empire of crime, once the management mechanics are assimilated, the game goes on autopilot. In addition, he proves too unconvincing in his fights, conventional, sometimes buggy and which often seem interminable, because too repetitive and not very nervous. Gods Will Fall is steeped in good ideas, but would have gained a lot by taking them further. Equipped with an effective artistic direction, unique bosses and dungeons, and a link mechanic that works, the game manages to make us want to play and replay in order to meet the proposed challenge, and manage to defeat the ten deities present. The proposed experience is therefore pleasant, and the studio really holds something. Sadly, Gods Will Fall constantly seems on restraint, leaving a lingering impression of superficiality and repetitiveness.- Jeuxvideo.com

Speedy Recovery tackles an emergency mechanic that already existed in Theme Hospital and succeeds in dusting off the system in a very nice way. Alas, it's the integration with the rest of the gameplay that struggles. By only serving to manage an uncontrollable flow of habit, and without penalizing us if we do not make emergencies, Speedy Recovery becomes despite itself an easy mode of Two Point Hospital. While that goal would be entirely laudable, it's probably not the goal of a DLC whose promise is the stressful management of a hospital emergency room. There are still three nice new maps and new diseases to discover, it's always good to take.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Last Faith had everything to surprise and it succeeded in its bet. It perpetuates this trend of development studios to mix with Metroidvania the requirements and general atmosphere of FromSoftware games. He manages to offer different ways of playing which are all attractive. However, the game drags itself down because of gameplay that is so punishing... that it is not fun and even frustrating at times. In short, The Last Faith arrives with an interesting proposition that, we can say, no one expected and which has the merit of paving the way for future titles in the genre. On paper Beholder 3 had it all. Taking the best of its predecessors, it promised us richer gameplay, even more dilemmas and the return of this very special atmosphere that had once hit the mark. But in practice, things are more complicated. Wanting too much to draw inspiration from its elders, Beholder 3 is struggling to find its own identity. And even if that were the case, the lack of finish is enough to leave many players on the floor. The concept and the atmosphere are certainly interesting, but unfortunately they are not enough to impose this opus as the Great Leader of the Beholders. Note all the same that if you have never got your hands on a Beholder, you can add a good point on this note.- Jeuxvideo.com

A nice surprise that does not make it a must-have, but a title that is still worth a look as long as you are running out of little yellow balls on your consoles.- Jeuxvideo.com

Dr. Kawashima fits for short gaming sessions based on memory games and it's always fun to track your progress. But, the whole game isn't as new as we would have hoped and it lacks precision.- Jeuxvideo.com

In the end, a game that can be walked through by hanging on a bit, without really doing its predecessor honor.- Jeuxvideo.com

Black Future '88 is a fast paced, dynamic and accurate Run & Gun but truly lacks of content and gets sometimes too challenging and repetitive due to the timed runs.- Jeuxvideo.com

Without being frankly unavoidable, as much because of its rather poor ancillary content as the low contribution of new features that it brings to the original game, Peril on Gorgon nevertheless remains solid in the story it tells.- Jeuxvideo.com

Once the controller is in place, there remains a mixed feeling, made of a feeling of too little and the satisfaction of having had a good time anyway.- Jeuxvideo.com

More seductive in its first part, The Gunk offers a pleasant exploration in sumptuous settings which lose their luster a little over the course of the journey; it also fails to renew itself in the challenges and puzzles it houses. This short adventure of 6 to 7 hours only is appreciated in the tranquility of its experience, its narrative potential and its beautiful dubbing. But difficult to be fully excited after spending long hours sucking up to abundant parasites.- Jeuxvideo.com

The confrontations underlined by visual effects of any beauty do honor to the sequences passed to the posterity of the animated series. Yet the lack of creativity in anything related to directing turns a supposedly epic and touching story mode into a simple succession of fights interspersed with phases of exploration of no real interest. As for multiplayer, Versus mode is content to show presence. Ultimately, the title of CyberConnect2 is to advise fans, and only fans of the work of Koyoharu Gotōge.- Jeuxvideo.com

In essence, the Zone Zero Buried Treasure DLC is perfect for fans. As promised, it offers a new Pokédex to fill out: it will therefore be perfect for seasoned collectors, especially since the new activities offered in the Indigo Mask give a particular but very pleasant flavor to the gameplay. Conversely, it does not offer anything revolutionary: the story is not particularly worth the detour; the technique is identical to the previous ones and the fights are not particularly striking except for the small seed of challenge that they offer to unprepared players. In a few words, The Indigo Disc is an excellent DLC for fans whose ideas are too little exploited to make it essential for the uninitiated.- Jeuxvideo.com

Super Dragon Ball Heroes is pure fan-service and a great adaptation of the original arcade game. Nevertheless, its visuals are out-dated and its core gameplay is soon redundant. Tolerant fans might enjoy it.- Jeuxvideo.com

By stuffing the title with content to justify its unattractive business model, Final Strike Games loses sight of what makes its game salt. It’s nice to chain clashes in Deathmatch, but the rest of the content goes astray and transforms the experience in chaos that is often unreadable and sometimes frustrating. Too bad, because its concept and its mixture of influences hit the target when the stars align.- Jeuxvideo.com
