Never surprising, LEGO The Incredibles is repetitive and the building mechanics are now dusty, to say the least. But there are 8 playable characters and they are all very different, making it a fun game especially in co-op.- Jeuxvideo.com

It's hard to know who Space Adventure Cobra: The Awakening is aimed at. The action/platformer pro will find it average in 2025, while the hardcore Cobra fan will regret the general lack of ambition in telling the story they love so much. The neophyte, on the other hand, might resent having the first 12 episodes of the very good anime spoiled for them with a game of this caliber. Nevertheless, the game is not without its qualities, and even if there were surely plenty of ways to do better, it is not a fool's trap designed by the Glass Man to trap legendary heroes. Like other productions from the publisher, it's nice, it draws inspiration from many things that work elsewhere, but the result struggles to bring anything truly transcendent.- Jeuxvideo.com

An old-fashioned Lovecraftian action-adventure game rather than frenetic Survival Horror, Alone in the Dark allows itself an interesting re-imagining of the founding episodes. Nostalgia unfortunately collides with obsolescence: even the hardcore fan of the license will have difficulty getting past systems that are too archaic. We would have appreciated that, freed from the chains of AAA with huge budgets and the need to necessarily do better than its competitors, the Pieces Interactive title tried more things, did things differently, allowed itself a certain radicality. It is not so. An adventure with a capital “AA”, imperfect in its substance as in its form, but sincere in everything it undertakes.- Jeuxvideo.com

Inspired by the greatest, Limbo and Ori and the Blind Forest to name a few, Unbound: Worlds Apart delivers a fun adventure that will keep you busy for a weekend. In particular, it offers small puzzles as well as various platform phases that are pleasant to navigate, at least initially. The rest is much less inspired, the fault of an artistic direction less and less convincing and a level-design incompatible with the different skills that Soli, our hero, accumulates as he progresses.- Jeuxvideo.com

Medievil isn't what we could call a good remake. It's an old game, with old problems, that aren't solved by this reedition. Of course, it's nice and always funny to go through, especially with the great atmosphere, the fine humour and an excellent dubbing, but still, the game conserve all those camera and jumping problems.- Jeuxvideo.com

Although not original, the adventure is generous and the vaporisaschtroumpf, reminiscent of Luigi's Mansion or even Super Mario Sunshine, gives rise to several funny finds. In addition to the few inaccuracies of the aim or the artificial intelligence of the allies making solo progression quite delicate, it is for the moment by its lack of content that Thunder Tier One sins. By relying on the community to enrich the game with new maps and missions, KRAFTON Inc risks seeing its game falling into oblivion, which would be regrettable given the pleasure that can be taken in completing missions in cooperation, which will require tactics, communication and planning to be carried out “properly”. A real potential that is not yet fully exploited and that fans of this singular genre might find a little too thin.- Jeuxvideo.com

With its arcade orientation, its cartoonish aspect and most of the 18 events that hold up, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games - The Official Game does its job quite well, although we would probably have preferred a game more in the vein of London 2012 to name but one. However, it remains a fun game to play with family and locally, the multiplayer being deserted. The game alone will not hold you back for long once all the events have been played two or three times.- Jeuxvideo.com

Fitness Boxing games follow one another and are similar. Going straight to the point, at the risk of seeming sanitized in its form, the title signed Imagineer succeeds in making us sweat energetically on a very rhythmic soundtrack. However, the weight of its haphazard movement recognition is starting to be too heavy to bear. In addition, the timid new features of this third part, certainly welcome, do not require us to go back to the checkout. To be direct: the new iteration of the software published by Nintendo remains catchy, but it looks like a big update sold at a high price.- Jeuxvideo.com

Although it is a nice homage to the first adventures of the hedgehog, Sonic Origins could have deserved a better finish. Overall, this compilation is correct, but the options offered are not enough to make up for certain shortcomings. Despite a really successful dressing with its cartoons and colorful interface, SEGA's game constantly oscillates between good and bad. We're having a good time, but for Sonic's 30th anniversary, we were right to expect more games and surprises. Especially at a price of forty euros.- Jeuxvideo.com

Rocksteady Studios promised to kill off DC's greatest heroes and that's what they did...in every sense of the word. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an effective looter shooter, if not surprising, but above all generic which struggles to renew the gaming experience throughout the adventure. Nevertheless, this open-world Action-RPG defends itself in terms of staging, visuals and especially writing with a tone that is both superheroic and humorous. The central “role playing” dimension of this type of video game proposition is not left out and is seduced by a constant rise in power of Task Force of America. Unfortunately, British studios never manage to rise to the level of the masters of the genre (Borderlands 3, Destiny 2 and even Outriders). Rocksteady's suicide mission is neither a failure nor a real success.- Jeuxvideo.com

Everything could have gained more dynamism and appealed to the players a little more by offering various tricks such as slow motion or "killcam", but unfortunately, Lucid Games preferred to keep this type of functionality for the game's Solo mode. If the heart of Apex Legends is present, this shooter is not in top form. It was obvious that concessions had to be made for Respawn's title to find its way on Switch. Unfortunately these cuts tarnish the gameplay to the point of regularly putting players at a disadvantage by hiding their opponents behind weak resolution and marked aliasing. Dying because you can't see your opponent in a hard-to-identify cluster of pixels is frustrating, and it happens a bit too much in this version of Apex. Still, if this is your only way to reach your friends playing on other media, this version may help you out. It is not, however, representative of what Respawn's Battle Royale can really be.- Jeuxvideo.com

RoboCop: Rogue City is a respectful and effective adaptation of the illustrious science fiction saga of the same name… nothing more and nothing less. The shooting game developed by Teyon and published by Nacon scrupulously applies the “old-school FPS” formula, not without trying to get off the beaten track with varying degrees of success. Ultimately, RoboCop: Rogue City will thrill fans of the franchise as well as all gamers looking for action from the 80s. Mission accomplished (or almost).- Jeuxvideo.com

Transforming a historically linear formula into an open world is not easy, and the Sonic Team is doing it without managing to avoid all the pitfalls that such a change imposes, starting with the repetitiveness of the adventure, a perfectible technique and a camera in difficulty. If Tour de France 2020 looked like a small category 2 pass in the history of the license with its small novelties, Tour de France 2021 would be a false flat descending. The new title from Cyanide is really stingy in novelties, does not change its interface or the graphic aspect of the title of a gut. It even removes the online multiplayer mode and the challenge mode to further impoverish the content, despite the many support races available to the Tour (Critérium du Dauphiné, Paris-Nice, Flandrian classics ...). We will simply retain a slightly clearer MyTour mode and very coherent AI opponents compared to reality. For the rest, Tour de France 2021 is still as accessible for any cycling fan and fun in split screen, but not really worth it compared to last season.- Jeuxvideo.com

Unfortunately, beyond the act of diving back into the world of Bright Falls and the pleasure of reuniting with an old friend, this content highlights a certain looseness of Remedy. Less inventive than The Foundation, too busy sprinkling the fan service adventure from start to finish, to the point of neglecting most other aspects of the game, AWE is proving to be disappointing in many ways.- Jeuxvideo.com

With its impeccable artistic direction, ANNO: Mutationem houses an animated universe that is very pleasant to browse for its superb pixel-art in 2.5D and its bluffing depth. Too bad the storyline it houses, though prominent in experience, is so disjointed and hard to follow. The experience makes up for it with a good RPG dimension and its correct combat sequences if not fully sensational.- Jeuxvideo.com

If you are well aware of the nature of the game and what it offers, it is possible to have a good time in the heart of Submerged: Hidden Depths. Thanks to its absolutely delightful universe, its peaceful rhythm and its neat soundtrack, the title of Uppercut Games does not claim to be anything other than what it is: a simple experience of exploration and of contemplation. Despite everything, drowned under a ton of dispensable collectibles and served by an optimization not always perfected, Submerged Hidden Depths certainly does better than its predecessor, but does not completely manage to embark us in its universe.- Jeuxvideo.com

This Switch version of Gal Gun: Double Peace inevitably disappoints with its lack of new features. Six years after the European release of the PlayStation 4 edition, the only argument of this port is based on the integration of the costumes that were offered at the time in DLC. That being said, the creation of Inti Creates remains this wacky, sometimes embarrassing, often funny video-lubric rail shooter, which is sure to appeal to fans of Japanese oddities.- Jeuxvideo.com

Resident Evil 0 is one of the most controversial entry in the series. It still delivers its oppresive atmospher but this Switch version cannot really revive the flame.- Jeuxvideo.com

Surely, Death’s Gambit is a beautiful game. Music is great, story-telling is great, and there a significant challenge. But Sorun’s animations and many glitches are too much to bear.- Jeuxvideo.com

To prepare an excellent Visual Novel cocktail, we particularly need a very good writing quality, varied narrative paths and the ability to transport ourselves to a world with a unique atmosphere. On these points VA-11 Hall-A is very convincing. But where the recipe turns sour, it is in the inability of the game to renew its gameplay and its sequences.- Jeuxvideo.com

Overall, Capcom Fighting Collection is a decent compilation. With its various bonuses, options and new modes, it appears to be an ideal companion for lovers of 2D fighting games. On the other hand, some choices (Cyberbots, Red Earth) can challenge and the Darkstalkers saga represents half of the titles available! A daring bet that will not please everyone, but we must recognize that the Street Fighter trilogy, with the anniversary edition, the Super Gem Fighter and the Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, is worth the detour. Depending on how attached you are to the ten games in this compilation, this one will have a more or less pronounced interest.- Jeuxvideo.com

With a robust gameplay, nervous sequences and decent content, 8 To Glory show all the good intents Three Gates AB had when they shipped this game. Nevertheless, it’s technically weak and obviously repetitive.- Jeuxvideo.com

Disappointing ! Milestone was off to a good start with its pretty MotoGP 20, full of promise with finally a career mode worthy of the name. But instead of polishing it, the Italian studio has put the diamond in the next-gen's garage this season. MotoGP 21 is stagnating in the gameplay, the fault of the sets and animations still unchanged and quite dull, an AI that falls back into its faults causing too many accidents and the absence of a split screen mode. Worse, the title regresses in content, puts the historical mode to oblivion and brings no notable novelty to the career. Even the shimmering visual identity of MGP20 has given way to a dreary ersatz menu, enough to assure us of one thing: the next installment in the series will be expected around the corner.- Jeuxvideo.com

We would have liked all the charm of the African legends of Tales of Kenzera ZAU to also be found in a level design that was both inspired and inventive! Outstripped by a plethora of competitors, the first software from Surgent Studios lacks the depth and precision to establish itself in the domain of the Gods. However, it does not lack assets: with its low price (20 euros), its dynamism and its enchanting universe, this Metroidvania, less labyrinthine than the others, has interesting arguments to help you spend 8 entertaining hours.- Jeuxvideo.com
