    MediEvil is a colorful trip down memory lane filled with gorgeous, updated graphics, the same amazing OST and improved (yet still retro) gameplay mechanics. This will make you feel like a kid again.

    There’s something really special about MediEvil getting a well-deserved remake beyond the visual and audio glow-up. It provides the title with a chance to break out of the confines of relative obscurity to reach a wider audience. MediEvil deserves all of this and more with its fantastic tone, entertaining characters and story, excellent level design, and stellar pacing, even if a few issues hold it back. If you haven’t played it before you’d be doing yourself a disservice by not giving it a go, and if you have played it before, rejoice in Fortesque’s skeletal embrace.

    MediEvil successfully recreates the feel and the atmosphere of the original game, leaving intact all the problems it had in terms of gameplay, hitboxes and camera.

    The MediEvil remake stays true to the original and was modernised quite well despite some minor deficits. In terms of gameplay it is a tad too old-fashioned.

    For those entering in here for the memories of a beloved game, I don’t want to knock the experience for you. This is the game you love! But unlike aforementioned remakes, nostalgia seems like a necessity to enjoy MediEvil rather than just being a bonus. Let all brave knights beware.

I loved MediEvil 1 & 2 back on the PS1 and it was a treat to re-experience the original MediEvil with todays visual glory and smoothed out controls. Other Ocean Emeryville did a terrific job with the music and visuals and kept the atmosphere and humour of the original game. I really hope we'll see MediEvil 2.… Expand

    I was scared to try this one because of the critics. I am not disappointed and I can assure you that the critics are really not accurate, thisI was scared to try this one because of the critics. I am not disappointed and I can assure you that the critics are really not accurate, this is a great remake and I'm a picky gamer. Sure there were a few flaws (bad camera, lack of checkpoints and health could've been restored between each levels) but besides these minor issues, I had a blast and the platinum is pretty easy and fun to do. I'd say that this remake is inferior to the crash trilogy (9/10) but better than the spyro one (7/10). Great game to pick for 15/20$.… Expand

    Podían haber mejorado mecánicas , controles y jugabilidad pero siguen anclados en los 80-90. Sin evolución. La consola casi vuela al morir en el combate final del nivel de las dos demonios y ver que tenía que repetir el nivel entero con unos maldivos demonios que casi te matan. Por dios que estos desarrolladores dejen los juegos o se pongan las pilas.    … Expand
