With its new quests, the proliferation of choices with strong consequences, its new weapons and new ideas that bring a tactical overlay to the confrontations, Steeltown does what is expected of it: to deliver an experience in the right lineage of Wasteland 3. We would undoubtedly have liked a more finished product, free of bugs that hang out here and there or a slightly longer story, but fans of the original game should easily find their account in this expansion.- Jeuxvideo.com

With its scrupulous respect for the rules of D&D, its obvious love of tabletop role-playing, its very complete character creation sheet and its combat as tactical as it is fun, Solasta: Crown of the Magister is a very ambitious game produced by a team. with modest dimensions. And if this modesty is felt in the lackluster chara design, the linear story or a not always impeccable realization, it is absolutely not the case of the fights, vertical, deep and dense, which constitute the bulk of Solasta, which offers a premium tactical RPG experience, able to delight fans of the genre and why not invite laymen to try it, which should keep them occupied for a good thirty hours.- Jeuxvideo.com

Here is a game that will divide. For some, Miitopia will be this bizarre and vaguely funny RPG, lacking in depth, challenge and diversity. But for others - those who adhere to the Mii universe and the inherent good humor of Nintendo - it will be quite the opposite. Not that the offbeat tone of the title erases its flaws, but we are having such a good time that we are ready to forget them.- Jeuxvideo.com

While we may regret the screaming artistic direction and the game modes that lack craziness, we cannot deny that the core gameplay of Knockout City is really fun and well thought out. By putting aim aside in favor of feints and co-op, the title from Velan Games offers an exhilarating experience with real personality. Everything loses in clarity once in close combat, of course, but does not spoil the experience for all that. Knockout City is a highly recommendable experience.- Jeuxvideo.com

Biomutant is what we expected from it, no more and no less, namely a generous project, steeped in good intentions, and which, through his atypical vision of Action-RPG, breathes a breath of fresh air into the genre. The studio title Experiment 101 is an ode to the exploration of a colorful post-apo universe, karmic destiny, avatar customization, and martial arts. It is difficult, it is true, to concretize these different aspects and to merge them. The fact remains that this experience, equal to no other, changes, surprises, and throws off to the point of becoming memorable. However, it is necessary to ignore a technical achievement which is clearly behind schedule and a progression that is sometimes too interventionist.- Jeuxvideo.com

Apart from adaptive triggers or some improved visual effects, it is difficult to go into ecstasies in the face of a game that still offers gameplay and a technique that is ten years behind, and it is not very short infiltrated mode that will be a game-changer. Far from other mobile adaptations of successful manga, the title offers a richer than average combat system as well as an open-world that we rarely see on these media. Unfortunately, despite these qualities, the game is nonetheless a gatcha which relies on frustration mechanisms based on energy gauges and lotteries to recover characters. To be reserved for MHA fans who are not allergic to mobile free-to-play therefore. It remains to be seen whether the title will offer enough content in the future to keep players in suspense.- Jeuxvideo.com

This iPad version is without a doubt the ultimate portable version of Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition. We may regret that only Mac players can keep their progress and that only PC and macOS players can play together. But these are the only sacrifices made on this version. As beautiful as ever, as imposing as ever and as rich as ever, Larian's monumental RPG is perfectly playable on the touchscreen and even has the luxury of keeping the local co-op once two pads are connected to the Apple tablet. This incredible adventure is now accessible wherever you want, without concessions.- Jeuxvideo.com

While it sometimes feels its age in terms of gameplay, Famicom Detective Club is nonetheless an excellent Visual Novel. The two proposed surveys are pleasant to follow while the visual rendering impresses. Its sublime artistic direction, mixing the new and the old, is practically worth the detour on its own. And too bad if the whole thing sometimes lacks interactivity, because the essential is there. We take pleasure in following these budding detectives in their discoveries. Too bad these very successful remakes do not benefit from a French translation despite their prohibitive price.- Jeuxvideo.com

Unfortunately, this HD Remaster version does not do justice to the original game with a technique that leaves much to be desired. If some additions make the experience more pleasant, such as the presence of a dub, we regret that this release does not take the opportunity to offer a more accessible experience to a new audience. Despite everything, 16 years later, SMT III retains its period charm and will keep Atlus fans waiting before the release of the fifth episode scheduled for this year.- Jeuxvideo.com

Days Gone PC is undoubtedly the ultimate version of the title from Bend Studio. With more detailed textures and lighting effects that gain credibility, Deacon's adventure asserts itself, and becomes a little more realistic and immersive. Two years after its release on PS4, the post-apocalyptic open world is rid of the bugs that hampered its launch, and the adventure is more fluid, with almost instantaneous load times during the transitions between gameplay and cinematic as on PS5. , if you have an SSD.- Jeuxvideo.com

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is a generous compilation. Embedding with it all the DLC released during the trilogy, some of which are frankly memorable and greatly improving the visuals of the first game, this edition is to date the best way to discover or rediscover the cult saga of Bioware. However, remaster and not remake requires, newcomers and veterans alike will encounter the heaviness of yesteryear on the first episode, with its imprecise cover system, its heavy movements, its loads a little too numerous or its painful inventory.- Jeuxvideo.com

For a tribute to the classics of the 80s - early 90s and in particular to Castlevania, Wallachia: Reign of Dracula can be considered a success, thanks to its exciting, difficult but satisfying old school adventure, which will transport us for 4 hours to the time. of the NES. It is unfortunately pulled down by an adventure already seen a thousand and once, dubbing sometimes alongside, gameplay sometimes frustrating and not very varied. GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon has potential, for sure. It will only take a few tweaks and additional rooms to become a highly commendable Rogue-lite. As it stands, we mainly regret the jumps that are a little too steep, and the ergonomic and questionable balancing choices. But these are the kinds of grievances that can easily be mitigated as an early access phase progresses. For the rest, it offers pleasant fights and a rich bestiary, straight out of Japanese folklore. Wrath of the Druids is an interesting DLC because of its generosity but which is sorely lacking in originality and new elements compared to Valhalla. Offering 10 to 15 hours of scripted adventure, it extends the experience, serving us Ireland on a set. However, we would have appreciated a more in-depth treatment of the druids, relegated to the rank of obscure threat like “Order of the Ancients” and a much better balanced difficulty, just to do honor to the various quests, both main and secondary.- Jeuxvideo.com

Subnautica Below Zero does not seem to want to walk in other steps than that of its big brother. By reducing the map or vehicles, Below Zero is more to be seen as a very good expansion of the original game, more scripted version and a little more hostile than the first episode. If Below Zero undoubtedly does better than the competition when it comes to making a scripted survival game, with a universe as enchanting as it is frightening hand-crafted, it would undoubtedly have gained more from the experience of 'origin to fully conquer the veterans of the franchise, who, despite everything, will take undeniable pleasure to go diving again, just like the newcomers, who will have the chance to discover for the first time this atypical and oh so immersive way of approaching the game of survival.- Jeuxvideo.com

More accomplished than its predecessor from whom it shamelessly steals its structure, Resident Evil Village is a complete experience filling with quiet strength all the necessary boxes for the success of an action-oriented first-person survival horror. Although it draws its inspiration from the depths of the Spanish oblivion belonging to the fourth installment, the title of Capcom manages to perform well thanks to its atmosphere tinged with original fantasy for the saga. The unforgivable absence of virtual reality and the presence of a feeling of "already played", however, prevent him from claiming the title of eminent village chief. Not enough to initiate a parochial dispute, however: this new Resident Evil is a success.- Jeuxvideo.com

If you're a fan of Rome Total War and still play it, this remastered version will probably enchant you with its more modern controls, HD, workshop compatibility, 16 factions unlocked, and a healthy dose of nostalgia to top it off. all. In that, this remake is rather successful, especially as the formula is generally still effective. On the other hand, we must admit that certain elements show the weight of the years and in particular AI. The new interface is also not very intuitive and the graphics remain below those of Total War: Rome 2. Finally, if you do not have a particular aversion for the latter, it is rather advisable to turn to it because it is more complete on almost all points.- Jeuxvideo.com

Visually successful and above all funny, Legend of Keepers manages to deliver a satisfying Roguelite experience without revolutionizing the genre. With its principle of inverted dungeon-crawler, we quickly get into the game looking for the best possible synergies to face the vile heroes. Unfortunately, despite these three characters and these different game modes, the title of Goblinz Studio does not manage to renew itself enough to offer varied game situations and make the player stay for several dozen hours of play. This does not prevent for all that the title of being effective, and above all, of making people laugh on many occasions.- Jeuxvideo.com

Disappointing ! Milestone was off to a good start with its pretty MotoGP 20, full of promise with finally a career mode worthy of the name. But instead of polishing it, the Italian studio has put the diamond in the next-gen's garage this season. MotoGP 21 is stagnating in the gameplay, the fault of the sets and animations still unchanged and quite dull, an AI that falls back into its faults causing too many accidents and the absence of a split screen mode. Worse, the title regresses in content, puts the historical mode to oblivion and brings no notable novelty to the career. Even the shimmering visual identity of MGP20 has given way to a dreary ersatz menu, enough to assure us of one thing: the next installment in the series will be expected around the corner.- Jeuxvideo.com

Disappointing ! Milestone was off to a good start with its pretty MotoGP 20, full of promise with finally a career mode worthy of the name. If you have two board game friends who are hungry for their dice roll fix, For the King may be for you. Cleverly blending its roots with the Rogue-Like genre, it offers substantial content for those who are adept at tactical combat and cooperative board games. Don't go there thinking of playing it alone, because the whole thing loses interest dramatically. Board game buffs will see For the King as a good palliative to their usual activities.- Jeuxvideo.com

MLB The Show's 2021 vintage isn't a strike out, far from it. The title of Sony San Diego does not revolutionize its formula, but refines it in depth, from the more readable interface to the new very complete stadium editor, including the addition of the cross-platform and a perfect cloud backup. The heart of the game is still beating strong, namely a very faithful transcription of the major leagues by adding dynamism and variety in the realization to the clear and customizable gameplay.- Jeuxvideo.com

The FPS has retained its sense of spectacle and makes it known for nearly ten hours of play by making you travel to the four corners of the galaxy, by revealing explosive sequences worthy of the cinematographic saga, and by proposing a handful of particularly endearing heroes.- Jeuxvideo.com

A deep action game, just as dynamic and enjoyable as its predecessors on traditional media. With World of Demons, the Japanese studio is indeed showing unfailing generosity, both on the size of the bestiary and on the number of powers available, without of course forgetting the options to improve the weapons and the different playable characters. Even after eight hours of play, we are surprised to discover new subtleties and possibilities, pushing to invest and widen the mind to face the advanced difficulty modes, thanks to the natural element system. Do this if you like action games, and have an Apple Arcade subscription.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Mudokon indeed returns on an adventure meeting current standards, full of challenges and sadistic traps to be avoided by a well-placed roll. Like the disappearance of flatulence, our famous petomaniac does not completely let go of the gas, the fault of various inaccuracies in terms of handling, the camera, but also artificial intelligence. Soulstorm remains a well-orchestrated adventure with qualities as great as the greed of a Glukkon.- Jeuxvideo.com

Breathedge ultimately remains fairly classic in its survival mechanics and does not succeed in everything it undertakes in this area. It turns out to be rather repetitive and unfortunately quite timid in its call for exploration, a shame, given the beauty and originality of its yet attractive universe. In addition, the game also sins with some unfortunate choices regarding inventory management, the resource collection loop or the durability of equipment, too ephemeral. With a shift in tone at the midpoint, which relegates survival to the closet, the Breathedge experience is not always balanced, despite some real good ideas and a story that follows without displeasure, for a little one. about twenty hours.- Jeuxvideo.com

The “old gen” versions of Outriders do not have to be ashamed of the comparison with their counterparts on next gen consoles. The weight of the years in terms of hardware is felt in the framerate, the loading times as well as the displayed resolutions, which encroaches a little on the comfort of play without being crippling, quite the contrary. The game from People Can Fly and Square Enix retains on PS4 and Xbox One all the qualities and faults of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions, starting with a hard-hitting combat system, an intoxicating rise to power of the avatar, a mysterious planet Enoch, but also general instability responsible for several crashes.- Jeuxvideo.com

Outriders does not revolutionize the genre, and does not have the ambition to do so. The title from People Can Fly and Square Enix recites the ranges of the perfect Looter-Shooter while abandoning the Game as a Service dimension inherent in this type of game. It stands out first and foremost with its science-fiction-inspired universe, fantasy and punk movement. The explosiveness of its combat, its extremely well thought-out customization system and this propensity to motivate players with ubiquitous power gain make this Shooter-RPG an outsider to consider. However, the anecdotal scenario, the sketchy staging, the redundancy of the missions and the instability of the game do not allow Outriders to fully assert itself on the Looter-Shooter scene.- Jeuxvideo.com
