"Fan service" in its purest state: if you like anime, "eroge", rail shooters, date sims and japanese weirdness (shoot pheromones to fight demons, really?), then Gal Gun 2 has all you've been looking for. The rest of the players should approach with caution and open mind: its absurd humor and the way it handles the female roles may scare your away.

A good idea (albeit not very original) that doesn't feel as good because of imprecise controls, a camera that constantly gets in the way and a gameplay system that becomes repetitive too son. If this doesn't bother you too much and if you've been looking for an action game that puts you against giant orcs, then Extinction will not disappoint you.

The beat'em up classic Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja lands on Switch with a pixel perfect conversion that still provides fun, 30 years later. Maybe it falls short on option and modes, but all those that loved the arcade version, will enjoy this port and the possibility to play it anywhere.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is the very same game from 2014 (even from the graphical side), with few improvements, like rumble HD. A fast port that Shantae's hardcore fans and newcomers will enjoy, but for all those that already played it on 3DS, Wii U, PC or Xbox One, there are better options out there, like Half-Genie Hero (also on Switch).

Ni No Kuni II is a masterpiece combination of Ghibli style graphics, Joe Hisaishi music works and classic J-RPG gameplay (Level-5 signature). We love its colorful characters, moving storyline and varied game styles.

Clustertruck debuts on Switch retaining the "pure platform" vibe from the PC version, with the core mechanics working like a charm in portable mode. Kirby is an enchanting, colorful and well designed platform game, which is even better in four-player local co-op. Sadly, the game (which feels like a direct sequel to Kirby´s Adventure for Wii) is too easy and short.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm presents itself without riddles, but with purity, to offer us an excellent narrative adventure that helps us to complement Chloe's story and other holes of Arcadia Bay's life. Despite its shorter duration, it has not lost its charm. The extra episode, Farewell, will thrill you to tears.

The remastered "open-world-arcade-driving-classic" is as fun as the original version... but it seems that team behind this new version had been working with the foot off the pedal. Even with better textures, it's hard to not remember the achievements of the original (60 fps, great graphics...), making the remaster even more "just fine".

The franchise gains interest with a sequel with a little more personality and solid mechanics, which challenges us without being frustrating.

Although the remaster work is closer to none (and there are even some little details from the originals that have been lost), these are two of the most stylish action games of all time (and Devil May Cry 2). If you've never played these games, this is the perfect time to do it: you'll hit the jackpot.

Age of Empires Definitive Edition manages to fulfill its function as a remaster. The graphics and the sounds are truly a delight, and there are some small playable improvements as well, but these are weighed down by the AI and a pathfinding system which still does not behave as well as it should.

Apex Construct is a first person adventure which makes great use of bow and arrow mechanics, and feels truly immersive in VR, but we found some control problems due to the unusual rotation system, based in a combination of pressing buttons and movement control.

Championship Edition 2 Plus its the same game from 2016, but adding a new 2 player mode. It's an insane arcade that forgets the laws from the original Pac-Man, adding different objectives (like eating moving fruit) and a ton of options. But its core is so focused on getting hi-scores (and rankings), that the casual player probably won't enjoy it.

It is still an enjoyable classic RPG, with fun co-op local multiplayer. But somehow we prefer the classic style better than the new generic 3D models.

Fe is an original platformer that fans of animals will surely love, thanks to the way it connects with nature through the language of the forest. Although it doesn't manage to send a message as powerful as it's visuals in regards to gameplay, it's worth your time just for purely artistic values.

Bayonetta 2 is one of the best "hack´n slash" games you can play in any console. It delivers intense combat, charming characters and non stop fun. On the down side, the Switch version is almost identical to the Wii U release.

Eight years after its original release, Bayonetta still has great controls and combo system, and we love the references to classic Sega games such as Space Harrier or Hang On. The soundtrack is also great, but visuals are a bit outdated and the camera system fails sometimes.

Crossing Souls is a beautiful pixel art adventure that is inspired by and jokes around all the 80s iconography you can imagine, from movies to games. It shines the most through its Pixel Art, its soundtrack and the animated sequences... but at the same time, the gameplay mechanics always remain very simple and have some lows in the central chapters.

No big news for Egypt. This DLC doesn't offer any new mechanics or gameplay surprises. Anyway, the story and cut-scenes are good enough to make us admire Bayek even more.

The Inpatient is technically impressive and sometimes scary, but its rhythm is too slow, and you can finish the main story within a couple of hours. It has different endings and collectibles, but we felt no urge to go back to the game once finished.

Lost Sphear is a little step forward for Tokyo RPG Factory, solving all the bad things from I Am Setsuna and keeping the good ones exactly as they were. If you love JRPGs and miss those times where everything was simpler, don't miss it.

We don´t know if FighterZ is the best current fighting game, but it's definitely the most spectacular Dragon Ball game. Don´t let the frantic combat fool you: there are lots of mechanics and tricks to master.

Fans of Digimon and the first Cyber Sleuth will surely love Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory, where the digital monsters are the undisputed stars of the film. On the bad side, it's almost exactly like the original game (some locations are the same, and even the soundtrack is reused), and for an JRPG it's pretty average.

The outcome of the plot is constituted as the best of the content, which sometimes blurs due to the occasions in which the gameplay is somewhat decaffeinated. All in all, it's worth playing, even more so being free.

A true classic platform game. It plays and feels like some Rare masterpieces such as Banjo Kazooie or Conker BFD. It seems that Nintendo Switch was designed for games like Yooka-Laylee.

Okami is a great adventure set in Japanese folklore, which shows an amazing ukiyo-e graphic style and feels unique in its brush gameplay. 4K resolution for PS4 PRO and Xbox One X is great, but we still miss 60 FPS option.

Despite the changes made, the end of Zoe picks up the witness of Resident Evil 7, offering a great gaming experience and maintaining the change of direction of the saga made by the previous one. Although it is a good ending to close the story, its high price and its short duration are not so much. Even so, it's worth playing.

The Champions' Ballad is far from what we were expecting, especially story-wise, but any excuse is a good one to return to Breath of the Wild's Hyrule. The new shrines are great, and everything that happens at the end make up for any of the not-so-good elements.

Hyperbolic, over-the-top and by moments spectacular, this is a game for those who want fun without complex barriers. It may be a bit too simple if you expect the classic hardcore experience.

VFR as promised, brings back the rush of the Doom reboot, with the immersion only possible in virtual reality. Controls work great, either with PS Move or Aim Controller, but it is not as long and deep as the original game.

If this is your first time with it, don't hesitate: it's one of the best written, more intense games in the franchise. If you played it before, the new features don't justify paying for it again.

Black Mirror is "13 Dead End Drive" of video games, but with more tension and puzzles to solve. Their lighting, music and sounds are combined correctly to give us the feeling that something is waiting for us. A good recommendation for those who want to have a good time of mystery in the house of the Gordon.

Skyrim is the game we´ve been waiting for in PSVR. It´s long, epic and fully inmersive. Six year after its original release, we still love the story and setting, although this version is not as polished as Special Edition for PS4 PRO (in native 4K resolution) or Skyrim for Nintendo Switch.

The Sims 4: Cats and Dog is one of the best expansions yet to come of this generation. These are the most realistic pets we have ever faced and the customization options are infinite. We love Brindleton Bay and the new vet clinic, it's worth the shot.

Bigger, better and refined, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are the definitive versions of Sun and Moon. There's some déjà vu feeling with the story, but that doesn't neglect that these games offer tons of content, and that they serve as a great farewell for the series before jumping to the Switch.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is a game made for fans of Marvel and of their latest films and tv shows. It has a good and fun history, but it's repetitive game and doesn't innovate. The LEGO formula needs to be renewed urgently.

The Frozen Wilds expands the main game experience, with new machines, new abilities for Aloy and a complete new environment, but it neither completes the main story nor adds new gameplay mechanics.

The Sims 4 comes to consoles with the best of the version released for PC in 2014. It does not offer any free content besides the Happy Holidays package , but this can be complemented with the best of the catalog of packs and expansions from the day the game goes on sale. WWII straddles the thin line between classic and outdated. We love some additions such as headquarters and war mode and its solid technical aspect, but the campaign feels linear and too similar to previous entries.

It might not make use good use of VR capabilities, but it offers a comfy, funny and amusing strategy experience.

Origins can pretty much be considered one of the best entries in the series (if not the best) for introducing a myriad of changes, all for the best, and making the series advance in the same way Assassin's Creed II did back in the day. Put it into a sarcophagus next to the pharaohs, because this game is worth of the Valley of the Kings.
