The Hidden Ones carries on the excellent standards from the main game and provides a thought-provoking story with an excellent selection of side missions.

The price is beyond right and The Hidden Ones ties up its own short narrative with excellent writing and another standout performance from Abubakar Salim as Bayek. That we’re griping most here about wanting more suggests what they gave us was pretty much on-point anyway -- we just want seconds. (Please, Ubisoft, can we have some more?)

It's more Assassin's Creed Origins, almost to a fault. It's an already-big game getting a little bigger. But it's worth seeing through because it eventually makes one of the more salient points in all of Assassin's Creed. The title's fitting considering how the poignancy and moral nuance stays hidden until the end.

No big news for Egypt. This DLC doesn't offer any new mechanics or gameplay surprises. Anyway, the story and cut-scenes are good enough to make us admire Bayek even more.

The best Assassins creed to date. I was always a fan of Unity if it didnt have all of its flaws. Syndicate was Garbage.

(damn, the fighting system is even worse and Bayek even dumber than I remembered)

    Story
The story flowed pretty well but wasn't as captivating as the main game. For the same reason I didn't like the ending of the main game that much, I also didn't like the ending of this DLC that much. I won't mention any spoilers but I was not very satisfied. I'll give this a 6/10 because they missed a clear chance to bring in the story in a way that was more satisfying.

    Gameplay
This DLC involves a new area, and in that new area I noticed even more bugs and issues than the main game. There is one boss fight side quest that involved fighting with fists and it was extremely annoying. It's also annoying that a boss will lock you into a combo where you cant move, causing you to lose 3/4 of your health. The backstep move that many enemies do is always annoying since closing distance doesn't work well. This isn't new to the game, but made worse by many enemies in this DLC. The climbing physics in much of this DLC area was awful. It also felt a bit hollow and empty. No reason to even go back after beating DLC and areas. 4/10. The weapons you get are nice though.

    Visuals & Audio
Voice acting, music, characters, and sound effects were all incredible. Ubisoft does an amazing job at this so it's an easy 10/10.

All in all, I got this with the curse DLC for 60% as a bundle, meaning $22 CAD for the two. At that price it's worth the money. I'd be some mad if I spent $40 on a DLC and got this.
