Mar 28, 2018PMCE2+ is an excellent addition to the Switch eShop, not to mention a spectacular evolution of the Pac-Man franchise. A lot of games have legacies, as Nintendo fans know very well, but some of the older titles that pioneered the industry are either stuck in re-releases or not as engaging to today’s players. If PMCE2+ is proof of anything, it’s that with a little ingenuity, the core mechanics of these classics can easily appeal to a contemporary audience.

Mar 3, 2018The 2-player mode is substantial enough that it feels like its own game. If you’ve already played the original to death on another console, I’d still recommend grabbing the Switch version.

Feb 22, 2018Thanks to the essential structure and the great rhythm, Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus is still a good solution for those who want to get away from reality and jump into a fast and frantic experience.

Feb 22, 2018Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus is an enhanced porting of the game released in 2016 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Game modes and gameplay are the same but this Switch version adds a brand new local two players co-op that bring some new cool mechanics and increases the fun. And it can be played with a single Joy-Con too. You can also play in tandem with the CPU if you do not have friends to team up, but it is not the same thing. After more than 35 years, Pac-Man is still here to entertain everyone.

Feb 26, 2018Pac-Man arrives on Switch with an excellent game, incredibly enjoyable with two players, as well as the timeless fun you get from the original formula.
-
Mar 5, 2018This is the game that has adapted the formula from the original video game to present times. Clearly, it's a limited formula; for many it can already be worn out or obsolete. However, it has nice-looking visual effects, one or two more speeds so that mastering the skills and reaching better scores is slightly more attractive than ever.
-
Feb 22, 2018Proof that bigger isn’t always better. The additional gameplay mechanics only get in the way of how fun the original was, and makes the screen a busy mess at times. The saving grace is that the Switch version of the game is perfect for short play sessions, which makes it a decent purchase for those that want Pac-Man on the go.
