Beyond any doubt, The Crew had loads of potential. The "single player" experience might be fun at times but the AI and the handling of the vehicles lead to frustration. Where the project really turns into a train wreck, however, is on the multiplayer side where just finding a single PVP game can take ages.- Everyeye.it

Paradise Lost is a title with untapped potential. The imagery built by the team effectively envelops the player, who walks the path shaped by PolyAmorous Games with involvement. Once the story is over, however, the feeling of incompleteness remains strong. The suggestions painted by the artistic sector and the soundtrack compensate for a technical sector that is not always excellent and a decidedly essential interface, for a pleasant experience, but which unfortunately is not memorable. A shame, because the Paradise Lost bunker, full of dark secrets, could undoubtedly have offered a more intense playful adventure.- Everyeye.it

With its annoying bugs, dated graphics and atmosphere of the film recreated only in certain situations, Alien Colonial Marines misses the target, disregarding the very high expectations of fans. Nevertheless, the narrative directly integrated with the movie franchise, the presence of twists, easter eggs and a multiplayer alternative to the usual FPS make it an interesting product for those who love the saga and the scary creature designed by Geiger. If you like Xenomorphs and you can go over on an atmosphere unable to strike fear (Dead Space is on another planet) and to the technical sector, you can give it a chance.- Everyeye.it

Tomb Raider Reloaded is a simple and fun product that can keep you entertained for a few hours. After that, the problems that distinguish most of these free to play productions begin to emerge. The flow of gameplay is abruptly interrupted upon completion of the third location, a moment in which an insurmountable barrier is revealed that requires hours and hours of grinding or the use of a credit card to be able to be circumvented. The title of Emerald City Games is also less generous than other of its more illustrious colleagues and the lack of mechanics such as the automatic completion of the levels makes progression even less easy. In short, it is a perfect experience for a game every now and then, but which in the long run shows all its limits.- Everyeye.it

The potential of the video camera, a central tool for solving puzzles, is partially thrown to the winds due to a puzzle structure that remains the same from beginning to end. Ultimately, our encounter with The Last Case of Benedict Fox gave us mixed feelings. On the one hand we find an interesting plot, embellished with some tasty twists and framed by an extremely fascinating setting. On the other side of the fence, however, we find an approximate technical realization and a general lack of refinement in the gameplay, defects that end up compromising the overall enjoyment of the work. The new Plot Twist project has been part of the Game Pass catalog since day one: for this reason we still feel like recommending it, at least to a certain extent, to fans of the genre who subscribe to the service. To all the others, however, despite the title being offered at a budget price, we suggest waiting for any patches that can at least solve the most obvious problems. In its properly finished form, The Last Case of Benedict Fox could in fact aspire to much higher qualitative peaks.- Everyeye.it

Let's be clear, the title signed by Antab Studio has arrows in its bow. Using the different cybernetic powers of Evan Kapnos is a pleasure and they offer enough variety to the fights, and the cyberpunk atmospheres that you breathe are engaging enough to push you to want to go all the way without stopping. We also appreciate the developers' attempt to give the right variety to their work by mixing action, stealth and puzzles. The problem with Foreclosed is that its many playful elements lack incisiveness and are not fully convincing. Monotonous battles against enemies driven by an A.I. very poor, elementary stealth phases and a few repetitive puzzles fail to fully exploit Antab's adventure.- Everyeye.it

Bandai Namco's remaster of the first two Patapon games, cult classics relegated to a console now obsolete, is the best way to rediscover the charm of a saga that previously suffered from problematic porting. Pyramid and Japan Studio's absurd gameplay recipe, with its blend of strategy and rhythm with RPG elements, is still irresistible despite the repetitiveness that lurks at its core, partly due to a gameplay structure that thrives in short play sessions. This collection is weighed down not only by the absence of the third game, although the choice is understandable, but also by the lack of substantial additions that might have appealed to a wider audience than just those nostalgic for the original.- Everyeye.it

One of the clearest impressions is that Project Motor Racing is currently a work in progress. It has excellent intentions, a foundation that could grow, and an "old school" philosophy that could appeal to a wide audience. But this requires time, updates, refinements, and a clear creative direction. The game isn't broken, it's not a failed product: it's simply very immature, still far from being a benchmark title, but with enough potential to get there if adequately supported. A release in early access at a budget price would probably have been more consistent with the current offering, because quantitatively speaking, the game offers a lot, but suffers from evident shortcomings in key areas: AI, penalties, driving system, and the overall cohesion of its ecosystem. Some aspects are already very good, and we are confident that in the future the game could become a benchmark for racing game enthusiasts, if only for the uniqueness of its car roster and the good career mode.- Everyeye.it

Ultimately, the HD remastering of The Legend of Legacy shows the same structural and content problems that plagued the original. It is a rather unique game that deviates from some classic JRPG styles to propose its own, very personal vision which, however, leaves out too many of the elements that have made this particular video game category great. We appreciated the work done on the visual component, but the disappointing narrative structure and the aforementioned critical gameplay issues do not allow the game to really stand out. If you are an avid fan of the genre and are looking for a project that is a little different from the usual, you could give it a chance, otherwise today's market offers alternatives of a very different caliber.- Everyeye.it

Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden recycles aesthetics and ideas from the two predecessors, and a bite-free storyline risks failing to involve players in the story of the warrior and her companions. They don't help overly abused clichés and an interesting, but underdeveloped combat system. The Beasts of Burden underestimates the players and could well be a good entry point for those not accustomed to the world of JRPG, but we would like to recommend it only to fans of Yoko Taro and the DrakeNier universe, who will be able to grasp references in the narration and in the settings of a title that, for the rest, is easily forgotten.- Everyeye.it

Digimon Survive is an experiment that is only half successful, as when determining the narrative and role-playing and strategic components of the hybrid, the developers have allocated insufficient space to the latter. The result is a dark and mature visual novel, which however we would like to recommend only to the most avid fans of the genre, due to the exhausting long-winded dialogues and excessive repetitiveness that characterize this type of product. Critical Hit Games' debut title is a graphic adventure capable of building a fascinating setting, certainly indebted to the imagery linked to the cornerstones of the genre, but with a unique personality thanks to the aesthetic and musical references to the United States of the 1990s 40. Nobody Wants to Die reduces the possibilities of its gameplay to the bare minimum, forcing the player to simply reach for the different indicators on the screen, to focus everything on a story that unfortunately does not develop in an orderly manner. A verbose exposition tends to dampen interest in a setting that would have worked better by leaving something to the imagination, while the plot finds complete meaning only through one of the four available endings, while the other three fail to fill several gaps in a slightly confusing script.- Everyeye.it

While moving beyond an artistic inspiration that clearly nods (and maybe even a couple of nods) to Cuphead, Acecraft doesn't break the boundaries of its free-to-play shoot-'em-up nature. The gameplay is simple and extremely intuitive, but it's also slow and lacks much depth or intriguing solutions, while the confusing progression system lives in the shadow of classic gacha progression: without real money, Acecraft feels diluted and uninspiring, but at least it's possible to play for long sessions without having to endure the usual ads that plague mobile titles.- Everyeye.it

Foamstars has some distinctive elements on its side and also knows how to provide a few hours of fun. The fact is that after the "adjustment games" we understood that the experience would not be enough to extricate ourselves from all the foam that filled the screen. Surrounded by too much confusion, the game does not properly highlight its potential: the protagonist heroes, their original designs and the various movesets suitable for different purposes. If Square Enix wants to support Foamstars, it will not be enough to increase the number of heroes, paid cosmetic items or arenas and modes. In short, the road to success is uphill. And it's soapy too. Then there is a bit of a bitter taste in the mouth for a content offer that for the moment does not push you to extend your stay in Bath Vegas.- Everyeye.it

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is a fun game, but it's not enough. We appreciate the effort to adapt a sport that was based on other rules to a video game content that must come to terms with the needs of the gameplay. However, we reiterate, that today the content is really too little: the single player challenges are limited and the multiplayer can satisfy you for a few games, but nothing more. More modes, more proposals and a more varied offer were needed, especially in the customization of the team, which instead has few skills to improve. Fans will have their share of satisfaction in whizzing around with their brooms, but the difficulty of the gameplay risks raising the accessibility bar a lot and keeping out all that more casual audience that instead in Hogwarts Legacy had made the fortune of Portkey Games.- Everyeye.it

Chocobo GP takes up the speech abandoned by SquareSoft in the late 90s and brings to light the official kart racer dedicated to the Final Fantasy franchise. It revives the concept of Story Mode, expands its roster of characters and makes some changes to the basic idea - introducing an interesting variation of online multiplayer. This, however, is not enough, because the real limits of Chocobo GP are the scarcity of its offer (which will expand in the future) and the sufficiency with which the available circuits have been created. It's okay to be a title aimed primarily at an extremely young audience, but the few and boring tracks are an obvious obstacle to fun and cripple the personality of a game that, at least on paper, could have had its say.- Everyeye.it

Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten is an experiment that is only partially successful, as Aquaplus's inexperience in the JRPG field and the limited budget have influenced almost all aspects of the product, starting with the obsolete graphics sector and a combat system not quite in focus. In short, the strong point of the package is represented by the convincing plot and the writing of the characters, which with their travails will fascinate Utawarerumono fans and newcomers alike. The conversion for Nintendo Switch does not do full justice to ONE PIECE ODYSSEY, which won over audiences and critics last year (albeit with some reservations). Bandai Namco Entertainment's decision to directly market the Deluxe Edition of the product, which at this time therefore includes all the DLC previously sold separately, does not at all compensate for the serious technical compromises that the ILCA team had to make in order to run the title on the hybrid car from the Kyoto company. Between interminable loading times and a very poor visual performance, not even the possibility of using it on portability could push you to prefer this version to the previous ones. Slitterhead is a set of fascinating ideas, which with a better application from a technical point of view and with a larger budget would probably have taken flight. Unfortunately, Toyama fails to package a product that is completely enjoyable to play. There are extremely original aspects, Alex and Julee are the most interesting Unicum available and appreciating their skills will be the first thing you will do in the almost 15 hours of gameplay necessary to reach the conclusion. However, too many anachronistic elements push Slitterhead away from the modern needs of video games.- Everyeye.it

A strange mix between Wolverine and Arkham Asylum, SuperSoldier flaws are a dull level design, a simple AI, a creepy graphics engine. Too bad, because the global structure is somehow solid.- Everyeye.it

Fatal Frame Mask of the Lunar Eclipse proves to be too conservative, characterized by slow and anachronistic game rhythms. It is true, in any case, that structural changes could not be expected from a purely aesthetic remastering. For sure, historical fans will greatly appreciate the improved graphics, more realistic lighting, controls adapted to a traditional pad and the alternative costume compartment. Instead, those who have never tried a Fatal Frame will hardly digest a visibly dated play system.- Everyeye.it

Naruto Clash Of Ninja Revolution 2 European Version is a good game, it has a great number of game modes and characters. Unfortunately, the inexplicable difference between the classic control scheme and the Wiimote one, with some of the fighting mechanics merely cut off when you play with a normal pad, are there to discourage beat’em up fans.- Everyeye.it

Asemblance tells us a surreal story, full of mystery and suspense: a short but intense psychological horror game, in which the gameplay comes second.- Everyeye.it
