    Despite its lengthy intro, it isn't quite clear who the Saints are, what they can do and why there is fighting to be done. Only those who know the original stories will be able to fully grasp what is going on. Luckily you do get a decent tutorial. [April 2012, p.90]

    Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle is the perfect example of a wasted opportunity. Just like most of the games based on popular anime licences, Saint Seiya is graphically awful, but with tons of nice touches aimed to the hardcore fans. If you like the original brand, you could like this game too.

    Saint Seiya isn't exactly a great game. It's a game that suffers from repetition, an awkward camera, and button bashing to beat generic enemies (bosses save this situation).

    Not a very good game but not a bad game at all ! The gameplay is dynamic and (almost) respects the original story... Graphics are not bad butNot a very good game but not a bad game at all !     Its exactly like that mobile game. A bit better, but not by much. I never really watched or liked this anime, and after this game as well, IIts exactly like that mobile game. It made more distance then anything else. I never thought I will see another Saint Seiya game that could be almost as bad as that mobile one, but here we are. A total waste!
