If we were to evaluate exclusively the Ultra Age combat system we would not hesitate to say that it is a small pearl. Unfortunately, however, we find ourselves having to consider the entire package and it is therefore impossible not to take into consideration the serious problems of this production, which range from level design to the graphics sector, passing through some very questionable gameplay choices. The result is a poor offer in terms of content even for a product sold for 29.99 euros. In short, the purchase of Ultra Age should only be evaluated by the most hardcore fans of the genre who do not want to miss the opportunity to try the particular combat system on PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch (platform on which there is also a free demo).

If Pascal's Wager has managed to emerge on mobile due to a little fierce competition, its Definitive Edition on PC does not hit the same goal. A good longevity and a series of precautions that make the title more accessible for non-experts of the genre, unfortunately, are not enough to raise the overall quality of the production, aggravated by an approximate technical realization and a gameplay not adequately finished. If you have already completed both the entire From Software library of works and the other exponents of the genre, and nevertheless you still thirst for soulslike, Pascal's Wager could still be for you: the important thing is not to have high expectations, and to be willing to close an eye before the limits of the work.

Judging Blade Runner Enhanced Edition is a tough job. If it is true that the comparative trailers with the graphics of the original version had shown a very faithful approach, more of reconstruction and exaltation of the Los Angeles atmospheres than of actual revision, one cannot fail to notice several defects that affect the final result. The interface and subtitles need to be totally revised, not to mention the unforgivable translation into Italian, one of the worst we've had the opportunity to see in the gaming sector; in addition, the restyling work, although voluntarily adhering to the aesthetics of the 1997 title, could (and perhaps should) have attempted to make certain situations and elements on the screen more legible. The work done by Nightdive Studios is therefore, all in all, marginal, and indeed the additions - the renewed interface and subtitles - are undoubtedly poorly implemented. Having made all these necessary premises, we believe that Blade Runner Enhanced Edition is an essential purchase for all science fiction fans and, in particular, for those who love the universes - literary and cinematographic - born from the works of Philip Kindred Dick: the story hatched by Westwood Studios and brought back to life by Nightdive Studios offers new insights into 2019's dystopian Los Angeles and its inhabitants.

Infinity Strash - Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai is not at all the tie-in that fans of the license have always wanted, but not a total disaster either. The contribution of Kai Graphics greatly benefited the visual rendering of the Game Studio Inc game, which however has serious structural defects and a narrative structure incapable of properly enhancing the characterization of Avan's disciples. Closer to the size of a musou than to that of a real action RPG, the combat system is wooden and lacking in terms of depth, even if we must admit that we appreciated the ingenious system represented by the Bonds Memories. The spin-off also does not adapt the entire story and we recommend its recovery to those who already know the original work and are very attached to it, perhaps when the title will be at a heavy discount.

Ravenbound is clear proof that having a good idea isn't enough to make a successful video game. While offering a decent combat system, the Systemic Reaction title is plagued by a number of hitches that cannot be overlooked. The presence of an open and freely explorable world has turned out to be a double-edged sword for production, given the low concentration of points of interest that makes moving around boring. Equally problematic are the camera and some enemy behaviors, which negatively affect what is good in the combat system.
