Hyrule Warriors Legends is a really strange experiment. On the one hand Koei Tecmo, achieved its goal of implementing almost all of the elements of the core Wii U game into a portable version and present them in a practical way. You can be sure that you will find here all of that action packaged gameplay and extensive fanservice in the palm of your hands. Having said that, this game fails in achieving the most desirable experience because of its many flaws, the most noticeable related with its graphics and resolution. It is a recommended only for the fans of the home console version or those who have been waiting to try it and have a lot of tolerance to really slow framerate.

Contra: Operation Galuga is a nice return to the traditional formula of the series, which fulfills the wishes of the fans. Although at the moment we do not know what will happen, I hope that WayForward manages to take the reins of the series in the future, and then give us a similar work, but focused on The Alien Wars and Hard Corps, and regardless of whether they expand the concepts that we see here present, or choose to continue on a safe path, I'm sure I won't miss the Contra unit's next big mission.

In some ways, Kiln is a return to a simpler time. There are no microtransactions or a battle pass trying to monetize your time. Double Fine has created a straightforward experience, which has both positive and negative aspects. However, it's undeniable that Kiln lacks content. While there's a promise of more maps and pottery in the future, at the moment there aren't many reasons to stick with this experience. At this point, Double Fine's work is perfect for Xbox Game Pass. You can jump in, have fun with your friends, and move on with your life without looking back.

Unfortunately, the game is very simple. The platforming, combat, and puzzles are extremely easy. While High on Life 2 manages to excel in moments where it pushes its own boundaries and presents unconventional sections, 90% of the adventure consists of segments where all the game's good ideas are executed in the simplest way possible, to the point that some players won't have the energy to reach the end. Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers is a game to enter the genre of srpg, because the learning curve is very smooth and allows new players to understand the most basic concepts. The latter is its greatest strength, since it simplifies the experience and makes it friendly to everyone so that is the best way to know this type of games. It is also brilliant to let us see the franchise from a fresh point of view and make us understand it in more ways, so we can enjoy more of the series and its history. However, we can not say that it is excellent because it is technically mediocre, even though this is not entirely relevant, they could have made a greater effort to make the game feel more alive.

The title is available via Game Pass for Xbox Series X | S consoles and also on Game Pass PC. In this case, I could tell you that it's interesting that you take a walk around to find out if it's a game that satisfies you. As for the PlayStation versions, I'd rather spend my money on one of the many great releases we've had this year, even from Capcom itself, Street Fighter 6 and Resident Evil 4 Remastered are much more worth your money than Exoprimal.

Biomutant is a game with good ideas that are executed in the most boring way possible. The experience is tedious and lacks substantial motivation for the player.

Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart doesn’t revolutionize the genre of Strategic RPG in any way and instead focuses on offering a simple yet funny and enjoyable game. That’s something to not be ashamed of. It is more a game to enjoy for all the elements it has than those that could have had. A really good game for those who like SRPG.

The power of the Ring and the big final battle with Sauron were some nice surprises on this enjoyable expansion. Unfortunately, the overall contents on the DLC and the poor story are far from the greatness of the original game.

Oninaki is a compelling game, the art style is the best from Tokyo RPG factory yet. Its story is dense, as the studio uses to, but it has its mishaps when delivering said story. The change of pace in the combat serves it well, but unfortunately the complex system renders useless once you get to the higher levels. It goes from a strategy based combat to a mindless button masher. But nevertheless, one you could enjoy.

Outlast 2 is a great sequel to the game that started this series. Awesome atmosphere, a scary setting, good game mechanics and an interesting story, are some of the elements that makes this game a must have for survival horror fans.

The narrative on Mafia III is great and exciting, maybe one of the best of the year, same with the attention to little details recreating New Bordeaux and general adjustments to the gameplay of the franchise. We cannot say the same of the general open world structure that gives us repetitive activities to unlock the premium content, in the same way, we're sad to see the final game with a myriad technical issues.

In short, if you enjoyed the original and want to take that to larger proportions, it is clear that you are going to like it, however simple its humor is and also its graphical performance. It is totally a satire made into a video game, and if we are honest, it fulfills its function of entertaining. It's not a GOTY at all, and I don't think it wants to be.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is a pretty solid product but very rough around the edges at the time. It may be a simple expansion for MSFS 2020, but a great career mode saves the day.

A pretty short and mediocre tycoon game. Jurassic World: Evolution has a lot of good ideas, but the execution is bad.
