The Bright Lord is good extra content. It does not feel very renewing, but because it is a bit more about spectacular swordfighting this DLC is not forgettable. Using The Ring feels exactly how it is supposed to: epic and powerful. We totally get why Gollum loves that thing so much.

The Bright Lord is a bunch of frustrating fun, but it pays off at the end with new missions, upgrades and quick gameplay.

A more robust offering than last time, and a more essential addition this time around, The Bright Lord is a solid way to top off Shadow of Mordor's Season Pass.

An acceptable DLC to say goodbye to Shadow of Mordor. It's fun and challenging as long as it lasts, but in some areas it's below the level of the original adventure.

While it's great to have a climactic final battle with Sauron, the rest of the game feels like a watered down version of the original. Add to that some weak storytelling and lack of character development and it ends up feeling like an ill conceived DLC prequel.

Although battling Sauron himself in the final showdown is enticing, this new campaign plays too similarly to the main game to convey the sense of grandeur of such an epic background.

There's a complete lack of ideas in these Shadow of Mordor DLCs, and that's a true wasted opportunity.

Again, Monolith have employed the same "kill or dominate 5 warchiefs" objective as the main component of the expansion, with the same tiresome and uninspired side missions we've seen dozens of times already. If this hasn't become stale by now, I'm sure it will be by the time you're done with this. Several of these missions are also timed for no realistic reason other than for extra tedium and artificial difficulty. At least the game is able to shine a different light on Celebrimbor's motives that's not really displayed in the main game, thus adding a tiny amount of character depth. Otherwise though, it's a pretty subpar DLC and one I would not recommend unless you're a diehard fan of Shadow of Mordor.

And now I am stuck with an Elf who is underpowered, half HP, and keeps branding ORCS (which I hated).

Why do they focus on retarded Mechanics like Beasts or Brand in the DLC instead of improving executions and stuff is beyond me.

The missions are All based on Time Counter! Yes! You fight Time not Uruks.

That massively sucks specially when they removed Focus.

    Fcn idiots.

Such a shame cause the main story was so Awesome.

    2 Complete failure of DLC.
