Dune: Awakening is an ambitious MMO Survival Sandbox, capable of delivering the rich atmosphere of the world created by Frank Herbert. The survival mechanics, such as water management and craftin, are detailed and well-developed, while the skill progression system offers deep and engaging customization. The game introduces some unique features, like an original server structure and a competitive endgame set in the Deep Desert. However, it still has a few shortcomings: the enemy variety is limited, some quests can feel repetitive, and the endgame content may not appeal to everyone. Despite these aspects, Dune: Awakening has all the potential to grow over time, especially with Funcom’s continued support. In short, it’s a must-play title for fans of the genre.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond delivers exactly what it needed to: a strong and worthy sequel to a trilogy that ended eighteen years ago. Its gameplay innovations and dungeon-level design shine, but the open-map sections and some late-game pacing issues hold it back. Retro Studios’ attempt to go beyond a ‘safe’ sequel leads to a game that’s excellent, yet unlikely to astonish modern players the way the original did in 2002.

It’s certainly not fair to say that Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is a bad project—far from it—but there’s a clear and undeniable sense that it’s a far less daring effort than expected. That said, it remains a solid roguelite that, with a fair amount of cleverness, manages to attract genre fans thanks to a wide range of ability combinations and an element of unpredictability that enhances its overall replay value. Still, when considering the full narrative and artistic potential of the world of Alea—with its biting critiques and grotesque tales—it’s hard not to feel a tinge of regret.

With the original’s technical issues smoothed out, more varied and polished gameplay, tougher game modes, and advanced accessibility options, this version is a must-play for longtime fans and anyone looking for one of the most immersive and dynamic open-world adventures available on PS5. MotoGP 25 marks its return with an exciting addition to its gameplay modes: the opportunity to ride a variety of bikes beyond the traditional racing machines. The inclusion of minibikes, motards, and flat-track bikes significantly diversifies the experience, making it fresher and undoubtedly more entertaining. We particularly appreciate the introduction of an Arcade riding mode, tailored for players who have limited time or who seek a more accessible and relaxed style of play. Unfortunately, the Pro mode does not feature major innovations on the track, which is a slight disappointment. On the technical side, the graphical improvements are barely noticeable, despite the use of a robust graphics engine. This second installment is made for true fans of the classics — for those who long to relive that nerve-wracking feeling of moving cautiously through the dark, counting every bullet, studying every map, and listening to every creak. As an authentic experience for the nostalgic, Tormented Souls 2 doesn’t aim to revolutionize the genre — nor does it pretend to.
