Reprisal's twelve sandbox missions offer endless opportunities to experiment, with many different routes to success. From the refined surroundings of the Paris opera to the heaving streets of New Orleans during Mardi Gras, how Agent 47 executes his commissions is up to the player. Whether it's a very public execution, a silent kill with no witnesses or an "unfortunate accident," a generous armoury of tools, weapons, disguises and blunt objects are always on-hand to help with decision making....

Hitman: Blood Money — Reprisal is one of the easiest recommendations ever. I finally see why many consider it one of the best games ever, and while it is too soon to say if it is my favorite Hitman game, it is close. If you’re new to the franchise and want a great way to taste the world of Hitman on mobile, there isn’t anything close. In fact, I’ll go so far as to say Hitman: Blood Money — Reprisal on mobile and Hitman: World of Assassination on PC and console platforms are both the best entry points into the series, and both masterpieces. If you have a newer iPhone or iPad, don’t even think twice. Just go buy Hitman: Blood Money — Reprisal.

Hitman: Blood Money REPRISAL shows that old games can still come out of retirement onto a new platform while bringing with them all the things that made them great in the first place.

The iOS port of this PS2 classic is well done and also includes some features from later games. Even after so many years, Hitman: Blood Money is still a game absolutely well-worth experiencing if you haven't yet.

When Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal is behaving the way that it should, it's an amazing port of a pretty great game. The technical issues are obviously a problem, but--generally speaking--they did not sour me on the experience. The fact that the stealth-action of Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal works so well on mobile despite the rough parts almost makes Feral Interactive's work on this version even more impressive.

Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal is a fascinating homage to the IO Interactive stealth series and one of its most beloved episodes, but at the same time a controversial project to propose after all these years.

It’s got a well-designed touchscreen interface that’s more than enough to handle the necessary stealth and occasional violence, even if the game’s graphics and core gameplay are starting to feel a bit creaky 17 years on.

Hitman: Blood Money Reprisal still stands as an excellent chapter in Agent 47's saga, taking us back to the heart of the '00s with more compact levels, though not entirely sacrificing the freedom offered to the player. The game has aged better than we might have expected, at least in terms of gameplay, and the mobile conversion work has proven to be quite good overall. Nevertheless, we hesitate to call this version the best way to do justice to the game, as it still remains more enjoyable in its console releases, of course.
