Resident Evil 4 (2023) is a phenomenal remake of a fantastic game. With a twist on the excellent plot and some incredible new mechanics, this is great for newcomers and veterans alike. Overall, “DIG – Deep in Galaxies” is a solid game that provides hours of entertainment. The multiplayer system is a great addition, and the graphics are lovely. The roguelike mechanics keep things challenging and unpredictable, although the learning curve can be a bit steep for new players. The game can feel repetitive after a while, but the distinctive 2D landscapes and ecosystems of each planet make up for it. This game is definitely worth checking out, especially if you’re a fan of the roguelike genre or if you’re looking for a game to play with your friends. Just be prepared to die a lot and spend some time getting the hang of things. With a bit of patience and perseverance, you’ll be able to DIG deep and uncover all the secrets that this game has to offer.

Echo Generation is a fun 80s-inspired Voxel adventure title. With witty dialogue and fantastic turn-based combat, this is a wonderful tactical but casual experience. What's more, I adored the visuals and the fantastic audio. However, there is no way to keep on top of your quests and this can be confusing. Consequently, the developers should have added a journal to overcome this issue.

One thing that I really must mention is even if the game might feel a bit simple, it reduces the need to think or concentrate heavily on what you need to do next. Cause if your day is already filled with stressful things, why work harder on winning at a game? I know I don’t want to arrive home and play something more demanding of my mind after I’ve just been using it all day. So to take a break away from the complicated stuff coming in daily, this is a perfect game to unwind and a great reason to smile.

For the most part, not to include the downfalls, this game could be a quite fun and unique adventure into the deep blue sea. It’s full of creative creatures you can learn about and some that might make you laugh or scare you. The combat using your friend is something original, especially when that friend is a swordfish robot, or whatever you’d like to think of this fish as. It really uses the main thing of teamwork when enjoying this game. I honestly found it quite entertaining, challenging, and remarkable with the display of art at every level as you swim through each section of this maze-like game.

From start to finish, this game really has taken me through some amazing missions, entertaining video content, and action-packed gameplay with levels of massive and destructive villains. For the beautiful art which makes up the graphics, well let’s just say there is plenty to gawk at! Everything that Mario represents is shown in this game, with the addition of those humorous Rabbids. Plus, the ability to build a team of unlikely characters really makes for some entertaining storylines and some marvelous defeats! Lastly, even if there have been many Rabbid games in the past, I felt this game might have just topped them. It has exceeded my expectations and has me curious to see what the future beholds with the Rabbids. So I fully stand beside this game and recommend it for a worthwhile, new experience worth playing.

In summary, Somber is an incredibly short title, but one that successfully delivers an enjoyable experience. The gameplay, which conforms around well-paced platforming action, is both responsive, and surprisingly varied. A similar sentiment spills over onto the narrative, which I found to be rather engaging, though, at times, somewhat clichéd. Musically, the soundtrack is well put together and wholly inoffensive, but doesn’t do anything special to warrant being remembered. However, the same cannot be said about Somber’s artistic prowess, which is smartly woven into the core ideology of the game, and is downright gorgeous to look at. Unfortunately, Somber is currently priced at just under £6 as of writing this. While that isn’t an exuberant amount of money, it feels a little overpriced for how much time you’ll spend with it. Castle Renovator is a ye olde building simulation title. Sadly, though, it is filled with bugs and visual issues that can't be ignored. However, once you work through these problems, you experience a fun, albeit repetitive game.

Bot Gaiden is a phenomenal platform experience. Furthermore, it is better with a friend. Can you leap, roll, shoot, and fight your way to victory? Enjoy the colourful settings and the smooth arcade animation. It's a wonderful title that is perhaps unbalanced towards the solo player.

Animal Shelter Simulator is a fun but simple simulation title. With basic mechanics and repetitive gameplay, this won't test veteran gamers. However, I enjoyed its casual approach and the cute pets.

Astlibra Revision is a prime example of what time and dedication can achieve. Its narrative expertly blends time travel concepts with high fantasy tropes, creating a captivating and memorable experience. Combat sequences, whilst chaotic at times, are unbelievably addictive and entertaining. Additionally, the numerous customisation options means you’ll easily be able to find something that suits your playstyle. Visually, it’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. Yet, it still manages to retain its own charmful, and alluring qualities. Lastly, the musical arrangements cover a wide array of genres. All of which feature fantastic instrumentation, and spectacular melodies. Truly, what KEIZO and his team have managed to create here is nothing short of outstanding. I highly recommend everyone to seek this one out ASAP.
