Play against an advanced, self-learning AI that tracks and adapts to your every move. Raven Brooks is an ordinary suburb, yet oddly filled with too many ravens. Mysterious events are happening in the city, often resembling a Tim Burton-style nightmare. You play as a private investigator tracking down Mr. Peterson. You break into his abandoned house searching for clues, only to find a bizarre, bird-like looking creature inhabiting it. From there, you explore Raven Brooks in an open world, survival horror-style fashion while staying true to the roots of the original stealth horror theme. Expand

Hello Neighbor 2 has a great idea at its core, and it works well overall. Its potential, however, seems limited and has possibly already been reached.

Hello Neighbor 2 is a stealth horror puzzle game that is tough to stomach. There is plenty of potential for it to be phenomenal. However, it sadly falls short. Moreover, the open world dilutes its approach and this was unfortunate. Furthermore, it fails to rectify many of the flaws found in its predecessor.

Hello Neighbor 2 is a game that features advanced game design, so it’s no wonder things turned out like this—it’s a difficult game to make especially for a small team. But if anything, I think it is a step in the right direction for the game’s inevitable sequel. There’s no doubt in my mind simply because it’s a better game than the first. If the team can figure out how to keep its solid level design and integrate challenges that tie in both the AI and the puzzles within the level, I think there’s a homerun to be had here. But until then, keeping tabs on your neighbours for a short while isn’t the worst thing you can do with your time.

Hello Neighbor 2, as for the first chapter, turns out to be a good idea but with many technical problems. The game is more than horror, but on multiple occasions it's just frustrating and repetitive. This second chapter unfortunately manages to bring improvements only in the graphics sector, remaining with a not very intelligent AI and a plot once again without a conclusion.

The AI of the stalking homeowners can be a bit off, sometimes you’re right in front of them, or on a wardrobe above them, and they’re oblivious to you. That feels like a backwards step. Gamepad controls can also be a little sticky some times, and more than once I was left frustrated as my character didn’t quite spring into life as I’d have liked when being chased in a panic. So all in, a decent if somewhat underwhelming game, with limited gameplay time to it.

It is generously labelled a stealth-horror, and an open world sandbox. I struggle to see the game fulfill these labels. I suffered multiple game crashes, and consistently broken AI. The price tag is way too steep for such a game. See our full review at EnGame on YT. Expand

On xcloud: The game can crash when you load previous save and then you lose all progress and have to restart from the very beginning. TheOn xcloud: The game can crash when you load previous save and then you lose all progress and have to restart from the very beginning. The game is otherwise glitchy and weird AI (neighbors will look right at you and not react or else they suddenly appear out of nowhere). The things you have to do to progress the story make no sense. It has so many negative points that it doesn’t end!
Even all the things that tiny build promised to do didn’t appear in the game.

The only positive points of this game are its attractive gameplay and art style.
You won’t find any other good points in it.

hello neighbor 2 is a real scam. Don't waste your money and time on it!
