Little Orpheus is a colourful adventure title that plays it too safe. I loved its whacky story, interesting backdrops, and fun mechanics. However, its repetitive nature undermines its potential and this was disappointing.

Garfield Lasagna Party is a great mini-game title for younger players. Moreover, fans of the cartoon will adore the setting and the 4 famous characters. However, its lack of depth or additional content will leave mature gamers wanting. Perhaps with some DLC, the problems will be ironed out and the game will fulfil its potential.

Missile Command: Recharged is a ridiculously addictive arcade title. Furthermore, it is a fantastic addition to the Recharged Series. Thanks to its choice of game modes and multiplayer action, this is one game that you won't want to put down.

A simulation without much stimulation, Apico is the b-movie without personality, asking you to be the worker drones for little payoff. If you were hoping to breed a bunch of stubborn bees however, this might be right up your Apiary, but bee-ware, the console port isn’t silky smooth – stick with the PC version instead.

Fallen Legion: Revenants is an improvement on its predecessor. With slick swordplay, a more fulfilling narrative, and excellent settings, this is one sequel that'll impress you immediately.

No More Heroes III is a semi-open-world title that is confusing as hell. With many side quests, loads of missions, and badass swordplay, this is a colourful and repetitive arcade fighting experience. Sadly, its strange ways won't be for everyone, but I enjoyed the madness nevertheless.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a fantastic sequel that is filled with fantasy tropes. This monstrous game will keep you busy for hours. With many layers, it is a complex but fun beast to master.

Unusual Findings is a point-and-click adventure title that is filled with nostalgia. With old-school references and wonderfully pixelated graphics, this is one crazy story that shouldn't be missed.

Nitro kid does a wonderful job of standing out from other rouge-likes but some of the glaring issues prevent it from being a strong contender against other titles such as The darkest Dungeon and one of the more recent popular titles, Hades. It was a fun little adventure and could definitely hit the spot if players are looking for another game to add to their backlog but will certainly leave players looking for more after their initial run is finished.

Yuoni is a horror title that relies heavily on traditional jump scares. Furthermore, the world is too dark and the action lacks finesse. In theory, it should have been great, in reality, it sadly falls short.

Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory is a colourful yet repetitive role play and adventure title. Furthermore, it is distinctly old-school with a political flair. Though its action utilises a familiar gameplay loop, the smooth and stylish swordplay ensures that this is a great game to experience.

Hopdodge is a challenging retro grid-based puzzle title. With interesting stages, tough mechanics, and a strange viewpoint, this isn't a game for the faint of heart. However, if you love an old-school title that'll test you, then look no further.

Sonic Frontiers is an action-packed, high-octane action-adventure game with open-world exploration and puzzle-solving elements. Adding in plenty of combat and more traditional Sonic-style platforming, you get a unique-feeling game that offers a lot more than Sonic typically does.

After Wave: Downfall is an arcade title that is sadly tedious. With underwhelming and repetitive action, it somewhat misses the mark. Thankfully, its aesthetics keep it from being a total flop, but this wasn't enough to impress me.

With bland Souls-like gameplay and disappointing bosses, Watcher Chronicles joins the bottom of the pile in an ever-expanding genre with far better and more in-depth alternatives, ultimately leaving the game with nowhere to go but join the bargain bin of 2-minute platinum-chasers and mobile games.

Police Simulator: Patrol Officers: is an action-packed simulation game full of crime and violence. You must control a rookie cop as he cleans up the city. What's more, as you progress, the crimes become more heinous, and you must rely on your skills and equipment to solve each issue. Sadly, for all its positives, bugs and problems undermine its vast potential. However, if the developers overcome the glitches and issues, this will be a great simulation title.

Super Chicken Jumper is a fantastic old-school run 'n' gun title. Leap obstacles, shoot foes, and beat every boss. I adored its brutal ways and varied game modes.

Bravery and Greed is a phenomenal rogue-lite dungeon crawler. It is cruel and harsh, but oh so rewarding. Play it solo or with friends as you explore dank caverns and defeat gargantuan beasts.

Yomawari: Lost in the Dark is a decent horror title that never quite allows itself to excel in any particular area. Japanese horror fans will enjoy the variety of enemies and the scares, but outside of the cleanly drawn visuals and a decent story, it can’t escape the demon of its own design – a short runtime that just feels too long due to its repetitive gameplay and late-revealing secrets.

Session: Skate Sim is a game any skating enthusiast will love, and any curious gamers ought to try. Once you accept the inevitability of failure, it becomes a great example of the satisfaction that comes from perseverance.

Hatup is colourful platformer that is sadly not long enough. However, the short timescale is filled with interesting stage designs and excellent retro aesthetics. As such, it's a great casual title that ticks plenty of boxes.

C.A.R.L is a classic platform title that'll lull you into a false sense of security. Enjoy the witty dialogue, interesting characters and unique stage design. If you love the genre, you'll adore this safe but fun platforming game.

Overall, Triangle Strategy is an entertaining tactical RPG, even if it does go out of its way to prevent its players from playing it. The tactical-based gameplay is intuitive, immersive, and challenging, and breathes a new sense of life into the genre. Narratively, the extensive cutscenes can be exhausting, and their eagerness to constantly reiterate themselves only makes things worse. However, the visual presentation is absolutely gorgeous, utilising a unique juxtaposition with 2D sprites, 3D environments, and HD lighting. Similarly, the soundtrack created by Akira Senju is exceptional, and rivals that of contemporary series such as Dragon Quest. If you enjoy tactical RPGs such as Fire Emblem, then this is probably something you’d be interested in. Just be warned ahead of time that you’ll be spending the majority of your playthrough looking at cutscenes.

Once Upon a Jester is a phenomenal and hilarious adventure title that'll make your sides hurt. I adored its crazy plot, excellent aesthetics, and original approach. My only complaint is its lack of longevity and replay value.

Super Woden GP is a wonderful indie racing title. What's more, it captures the brilliance of 90s arcade games. I adored the aesthetics and the simple yet addictive gameplay.

Despite being a basic port of a title that lays smack-bang in the middle of a gargantuan series, Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero manages to be both approachable and thrilling, resulting in a classic 2D JRPG that shows up some of the latter 3D entries in both story and design, and has me excited to play the Trails series again.

Godlike Burger is a crazy and gruesome rogue-lite title. You'll cook, kill, and manage your resources as you aim to become the number one restaurant in the universe.

Last Days of Lazarus is a bizarre but wonderful story that is captivating and creepy. However, the action is held back by bugs and a short story. What's more, the heavy reliance on religious images may be off-putting.

Potion Permit is a fantastic RPG in the same vein as Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley. It is charming, fun, and rewarding thanks to the balanced and interesting core mechanics. Relax, save the locals, and knock down the walls of distrust.

Overall, the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is fantastic value for money. Both titles play and run exceptionally well, offering an immersive and engaging gameplay experience. The environments and character models are unbelievably lifelike, and the OST features a mature take on the Uncharted sound. Narratively, A Thief’s End is arguable the strongest in the series, especially if you’re already familiar with Nate’s story. Consequently, you may want to wait this one out until you’ve had the opportunity to play through the original trilogy. However, if you aren’t too fussed with the lifetime story of Nate, then jumping in here is also a viable option. Regardless of which way you go, this package is definitely worth picking up.

Aniquilation is an indie twin-stick shooter that should have impressed me. Its short sharp rounds and the simple story could have been excellent. Instead, much of its action is poorly executed, leaving you frustrated.

Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef is a wonderful hybrid of two genres. Enjoy some classic platforming mechanics brutally combined with gory shooting elements. As a consequence, you'll experience a fun yet tough title that'll keep you busy for hours.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a phenomenal FPS that ticks every box. With incredible aesthetics and slick gunplay it is a fantastic experience. Furthermore, the online mode is well balanced and the new levelling system is organic. Fans may gripe and groan about the changes, but I adored the methodical action and problem free gaming.

Charon's Staircase is a classic horror puzzle title with a thriller twist. It plays the part perfectly with cliched jump scares and a sinister atmosphere. However, its limited replay value and well-trodden mechanics leave you feeling underwhelmed.

PlateUp! is a fantastic rogue-lite cooking simulation title. What's more, it is infuriating, addictive, and original. Play solo or with friends as you cook, burn, and serve every meal to impatient customers. Can you make everyone happy, or will your restaurant be shut for good?

Miraculous: Rise of the Sphinx is a nice addition to the much-loved franchise, if you are a child. Consequently, it is aimed towards younger gamers, so it won't receive any major plaudits. However, my children enjoyed it, even if I found it to be flawed. With colourful graphics, interesting stage design, and the right blend of casual action, this will entertain the youngsters in your house.

Justice Sucks is a brutal and violent adventure game. You must use your surroundings to take out your foes and complete every mission. Learn new abilities, mow down your opponents, and clean up your mess. It is gruesome and childish, but unbelievably moreish.

Overall, the fridge is red seems like a title that would hit it off well for those who are heavily invested in niche horror experiences but for those who are like myself, the intro did not do enough to get me hooked enough to fully understand what the story was behind the demonic red refrigerator. There were hints of a more coherent story throughout the game but since that interest was dashed on the rocks at the start, it was hard to want to piece everything together. The red fridge may be tempting for some to open, but it might be best that it remained closed.

Way of the Hunter is a slow-paced but engrossing hunting simulation title. With beautiful scenery, stunning animals, and plenty of fantastic mechanics, this oozes realism. If you want a fulfilling and deep experience, then look no further.

Gas Station Simulator is a crazy sim game that is addictive and enjoyable. What's more, it'll push you to your limits at every stage. Expand your business, serve the customers, and keep everyone happy.

Robotry! is tough but enjoyable physics-based adventure game. You must learn new skills, find collectables, and control each of the floppy legs. You'll fall, fail, and fall again as you complete your strange journey.

Vampire Survivors is an incredible rogue-lite title that uses old-school imagery. Its simple concept will lull you into a false sense of security, and you won't be able to put it down. Word of warning, once you start, you won't be able to stop.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is a fast-paced fighting title that can be played solo or with others. Furthermore, it captures every essence of the franchise and capitalises on many of the much-loved characters. With interesting stage design and tough but enjoyable challenges to complete, this will be enjoyed by many gamers.

Biomutant is a fantastic open-world RPG. What's more, the environment, creatures, crafting, abilities, and plot will blow you away. I loved it, and I'm glad I waited until the next-gen update.

Fashionably late to the party, Kamiwaza: The Way of the Thief is a beautiful outlier, and timeless classic that serves as a great lesson on how to create addictive action gameplay in an excellently adaptive and immersive world, despite its small size. Although it is a barebones re-release, which does a disservice to those experiencing it for the first time, I cannot recommend this game enough – the period, the gameplay – it’s brilliant fun that transcends any negatives and simply has to be seen to be believed.

Whilst it’s certainly interesting, it remains largely incoherent. Subsequent playthroughs, which are mandatory to experience all the game has to offer, don’t really clear up any of the confusion either. Still, Moonscars does offer something worth playing. If you’re in the market for a new Metroidvania or Souls-like game, then I’d recommend giving this one a shot.

The Plague Doctor of Wippra is a clever critique of the global pandemic that hasn’t quite gone away, told through the lens of late medieval Germany dealing with the bubonic plague. At its’s surface though, it’s a great point-and-click adventure game with interesting dialogue, raised stakes, alternate endings and enough puzzles to feel satisfying. Sadly, it is on the short side and can be completed within a couple of hours. But it’s a couple of hours well spent.

I really wanted to love Gotham Knights, and mostly, I did. However, I can’t ignore its repetitive gameplay, awful vehicular control, and the inevitable complaints about the frame rate. Yet, this DC title is enjoyable. The combat is smooth and captivating; the villains are great, and the story flows nicely. What’s more, two-player cooperative action is the icing on the cake. Yes, it could be better, but hardcore fans won’t care.

41 Hours is a Sci-FI FPS that is sadly lacking. With many shortcomings, you'll be left wanting. Furthermore, the poor graphics and audio create a horribly dated finish. However, I liked the core concept and the excellent stage design.

Deadlink is a relentless arena-based FPS with rogue-lite elements. You must jump, dive, and shoot your way to victory. However, death is guaranteed, and failure is all but assured. Yet, this matters not as you become stronger, faster, and wiser with each passing playthrough.

Wayward Strand is a slow-burning but story-rich adventure. Control the inquisitive Casey as you explore a floating hospital for 3 days in the summer. Speak to the residents, observe their actions, and unfold a wonderfully intertwined experience.

Priest Simulator is a whacky and odd simulation title. You must complete religious tasks while helping the community. Moreover, you'll stop those non-believers who stand in your way. Shoot, fight, and pray your way to victory.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is an incredible action-adventure title. This much-anticipated sequel arrives on Next Gen consoles, PC, and Switch Digital only. However, gamers on these machines will adore the brutal and sombre journey they'll experience. It retains many much-loved mechanics but evolves miles beyond my wildest expectations. Accordingly, this latest instalment blew my mind, and I can't stop raving about it.

Undungeon is a story of unrealized potential, with a well-written fantasy sci-fi story and stunning visuals, it could have allowed this indie Kickstarter title to really make some noise, but its repetitive action can’t stretch to meet a running time that’s double the length it should be, allowing tedium to settle in long before the end.

Train Sim World 3 is an ultra-realistic simulation title. You will not notice minor issues and technical faults if you have never driven a train. However, if you have, you will despise the mistakes that undermine the potential. Besides this, the routes are fantastic, the trains look realistic, and I adored the additional gameplay elements.

Kaichu: The Kaiju Dating Sim is a strange game with an even more unusual concept. Can you find the monster of your dreams? Pick a date, answer some questions, and smash some famous landmarks. Some of you will love it, but I didn't appreciate its concept.

Although I found it partially enjoyable, No Place for Bravery ultimately didn’t do itself justice. Its narrative structure is more than a bit messy, and it often comes across as clichéd. The gameplay, while having a fair amount of customisation options, suffers from sloppy combat functionality. If nothing else, the visual and audio departments prop up the game to a slightly above average Souls-like. I really hope that Glitch Factory takes the criticism on board, and uses it to give No Place for Bravery the quality of life update it deserves. But, as of right now, I can only offer a light recommendation.

Call of the Wild: The Angler is a realistic fishing simulation title. With an expansive and stunning world to explore, you can lose yourself for hours. Fish, help others, or simply relax, the choice is yours.

Pnevmo-Capsula is a tricky little puzzle game that'll test your patience. With interesting stage design and observational problems to overcome, it can be tough. Sadly, though, there were some annoying moments that tarnish the end product.

Alive is a game that’ll get under your skin. What’s more, its creepy plot will resonate with many in these desperate times. This to one side, if you love either puzzling games or escape rooms, you’ll cherish every moment. Can you escape your new virtual prison? Solve the puzzles, piece together the madness, and potentially win the life-changing prize.

Onsen Master is a fun but short spa management title. It captures the madness of Overcooked but demands more planning. With level-specific challenges and angry bosses to overcome, you must think ahead and find every weakness.

DreamWorks Dragons: Legends of the Nine Realms is a fantastic family-friendly title. With a generous number of levels to explore, some interesting dragons to control, and a fair learning curve, this will keep you interested while challenging you. Furthermore, there is plenty of longevity and replay value. If you love How to Train a Dragon, you'll adore this game.

With a simple story and a play time of roughly 20 hours, The Tarnishing of Juxtia is a fun bite sized adventure for those looking for something with a little difficulty to it. There aren’t too many gripes to be had with the game but one of the biggest flaws to be seen is the fact that combat can start to feel repetitive outside of boss fights and some of the enemies have some outlandish attacks that may feel unfair to some players. This is definitely a game worth picking up and is a wonderful addition to the ever growing genre of souls like games but with its own charm to make it stand out from the rest.

Despot's Game is a cruel rogue-lite set in a dystopian world. Search the labyrinthine world as you appease a sick voyeuristic monster. Command your army, set their formation, and watch each automated encounter. It is brutal, unfair, and guaranteed to make you scream.

Rhythm Sprout is a fun but tough rhythmical title that’ll push you to your limits. This short demo gives you an insight into what to expect upon full release. I can’t wait to take on the final product even if I risk losing my cool and my sanity

Food Truck Tycoon is a jam-packed game that'll keep you busy. With 150 stages to complete and 3 modes to overcome, there is plenty to see and do. Moreover, it surprised me and I was happy that my preconceived ideas were wrong.

Saints Row is a franchise that has its best days behind it. Consequently, the latest iteration is dull, dated, and lacking oomph. The open world is great, as are the side hustles. However, this doesn't make up for its many shortcomings. Fans of the franchise may overlook the tedium, but I could not.

This game took my expectations and flipped them all upside down with ease. From the music to the characters, the gameplay, the design of the world, and its wonderfully weird aesthetic. I really did not expect to enjoy the game as much as I did, and I can easily recommend it.

Sam & Max: Beyond Space and Time tries to be too clever for its own good, expecting the player to follow long-winded and sometimes-incomprehensible logic of its puzzles, and with its dated references and cliched characters, although this entry might still be enjoyable, it is one of the less memorable Sam and Max entries.

Simply put, NeverAwake is a smooth, responsive, and entertaining shoot ‘em up. The gameplay is both fast-paced and increasingly challenging, offering a lot of replayability. Artistically, the unique blend of realism and abstract imagery perfectly illustrates the nightmarish aesthetic. Likewise, the sound design and original OST accompany the games conceptual thematic phenomenally well. Most of all though, the emotionally charged narrative is portrayed in such a way that almost anyone can relate to it. I sincerely hope that NeverAwake gets the attention it deserves. And at £15, I cannot recommend this game enough.

Electrician Simulator is a fun title that sadly misses the mark. It lacks the realism of its peers, and it focuses on too many elements that water down its quality. Consequently, I enjoyed it, but it didn't grab me like many other simulator titles.

Door Kickers 2 is a phenomenal tactical war simulation title. Tackle a range of urban missions as you eliminate your foes, save the hostages, and perfect your approach. I loved the planning stage and the range of objectives that enhanced the difficulty and replay value.

Dungeon Munchies is an interesting concept and I always want to support indies where I can. However, Dungeon Munchies feels like it’s a game that needs a bit of work before it’s worth picking up. I will say it is fun in its food and crafting mechanics and the plot is great. If they can patch the control mechanisms to make them better, then this would be a solid platforming experience.

Lemon Cake Is a fantastic but hectic cooking simulator. Can you renovate this rundown bakery? Appease the customers, upgrade the equipment, and make everyone happy. With plenty of recipes on offer and loads of ingredients to grow, you must work hard, plan in advance, and stay calm.

Bunny Park is a cute and relaxing game all about rabbits. If you wish to succeed, you must clear debris, add decorations, and feed the animals. Sadly, this is the depth of its gameplay, and it offers little replay value or longevity.

It would have been nice if there were some special features, artwork from Steve Purcell or some of the original comics, but as the saying goes, you should never look a gift horse in the mouth, because this effervescent and evergreen title is an ageless wine with a comically-large gun, and one can only hope that this leads to not only the remastering of the entire trilogy of games on consoles, but also something new. Sam and Max are back, baby.

Construction Simulator is an ultra-realistic sim title. Moreover, its vast number of tasks will occupy you for hours. I adored its blend of jobs, range of vehicles, and massive maps. However, I would have liked the visuals to be more polished and the music to be more varied.

In summary, Super Alloy Ranger is a short, yet passionate love letter to the Mega Man series. The gameplay, remaining simplistic in its approach, is unbelievably engaging and accessible. Although the narrative direction is mostly forgettable and lacklustre, the visual and audio departments more than make up for it through their superb presentation. I can easily recommend Super Alloy Ranger to retro 2D platforming fans, especially those who enjoyed Mega Man X, or the Metal Slug series.

Unknown Number: A First Person Talker is a one of a kind title. This groundbreaking game will creep you out while making you think. Can you solve the cryptic clues and drive the story forward? Enjoy the simple approach, the atmospheric aesthetics, and the uncomfortable nature of the plot.

Train life- A railway simulator is a beautiful game as well with all the scenery as players pass by. The trains offer a lot of detail from both the inside as well as the outside and I found myself being pulled further into the simulation as I passed by signs telling me I was going too fast or during moments when I realized that the train needed some fuel. This is definitely a fun game for those looking to get into the genre but is also good for those who have a lot of experience in the genre.

Beacon Pines is a phenomenal adventure title that is touching and amusing. Control a group of friends who must discover the truth no matter the cost. With visual novel elements and some puzzle mechanics, this is hard to put down. Consequently, it is a great indie title that must be seen to be believed.

Whateverland is an enjoyable Point and Click adventure, if a little rushed. The mini-games are a welcomed alternative to the standard gameplay loops, helping to keep things feeling fresh and new. The Burton-esque visual designs expertly capture the extraterrestrial ambiance, which is similarly matched with the games OST. While the overarching story and character narratives are pleasant, they suffer from a lack of development, occasionally resulting in a flat experience. Personally, I can offer a light recommendation to seek this one out.

SpiderHeck is a fantastic arcade platform title. Grab a weapon, destroy your foes, and survive at all costs. It'll test your skills, patience, and resolve as everything is out to get you.

Once again, I am not a fan of J-RPGs personally. However, I didn’t hate my time with Jack Move at all. I would credit this feeling mostly to the art and music. They were certainly excellent. The gameplay while staying true to the J-RPG roots, offers a bit of its own variety. I’m glad it’s a short game because if it were longer, it might’ve overstayed its welcome. I’d suggest Jack Move to anyone wanting to give a short to J-RPGs, since it could be too easy of a game for a fan of the genre.

Tip Top: Don't Fall! is an amazing arcade climbing title. You must traverse some challenging rock faces as you balance stamina and speed. With everything against you, you must consider risk and reward as well as the permadeath mechanic. Thankfully, its procedurally generated stages and tough action keep you coming back for more.

Blood Waves is an arena-based zombie survival game that fails to hit the mark. With poor controls, lacklustre mechanics, and dated graphics, it will disappoint you. I can't recommend it as there are many better games in this genre.

Commandos 3 - HD Remaster retains fantastic levels of difficulty and a wonderful blend of missions. However, it is let down by poor controls and a woeful camera. I believe it'll be better on PC, but as a console gamer, I felt thoroughly letdown.

It’s hard to truly judge a title that won’t let you progress a little more than halfway, but what I know of the remainder of the experience, this a knight to forget; an average and repetitive title that is about as rewarding as the princesses’ throwaway comments as you adventure with them – by the 4th time, you’ve seen and heard enough.

The Dragoness: Command of the Flame is just fine. With so many games out there, I would say you would need to be a huge fan of this game style to spend any amount of time on it. The city building is light, the combat is repetitive, and the UI needs simplifying and polishing. Despite all of that, however, the desire to take ‘just one more turn’ and learn more about the characters and the world is appealing. If you have an open slot in your game schedule, The Dragoness: Command of the Flame wouldn’t necessarily be a bad option.

Kofi Quest is such an interesting and original RPG-style game. It’s got plenty of great action-packed battles against a variety of monsters and creatures, heroic music playing in the background, an extensive world map to travel and explore, and plenty of unique friends to meet. I think, for the most part, the game brings such a wonderful array of side quests to tackle and can keep the player occupied as well as the freedom to do as you please. I just feel there are a few issues that aren’t easy to avoid and can wreck the joy of the gameplay because it doesn’t work out or plays as it should.

F1 Manager 2022 is a fantastic sports simulation title. With an in-depth and methodical approach, this will be a hit with its many fans. I loved the slow planning stages, the hiring and firing of staff, and the layers of research and development. What's more, the racing is enthralling, intense, and everything you'd hope it would be. If you love F1, then you'll adore this.

I try not to judge a book by its cover, but Maggie the Magnet sounded and looked awful at first glance. Yet, I’m glad I gave it a chance, as every element surprised me. I adored its challenging ways, its tough but fair learning curve, and its bizarre aesthetics. Accordingly, it is one of those hidden gems that’ll be ignored by many gamers, and this is a tragedy.

The anime scenes could have easily been unlocked chapter-by-chapter as you progress through the main mode, but making the broken ‘demo’ mandatory before the actual game starts is such a waste of time that unless a cheat code or a patch comes out to separate them, this premature release is simply not worth the effort.

Gunslingers and Zombies is such a simple game to enjoy. It’s filled with a few weapons, plenty of planning, and a bunch of zombies to demolish. The game does require a little planning to survive each level and move forward. The challenging part occurs as you move on and go through different waves or goals needed to be done. However, it is still a very easy game to pick up and play, perfect for beginner strategy gamers. Honestly, it’s hard to say that this one game is horrible because in total it was just so much classic FUN! Games back then use to be slower and the colors or way they move are very obvious in each game. Sometimes the sayings, as phrases are a little much and at that time the game was pretty much exciting. So modern games to classic will be hard to find it that entertaining and enjoyable as many would like them to be. However, they are collections of the past, not much changed, and really a blast from the past when playing.

The Dark Prophecy is a classic point-and-click title that will fill you with nostalgia. What's more, it has some excellent characters, crazy locations, and some witty and sharp dialogue. However, it is sadly too short if you are a veteran of the genre. But don't let this deter you from playing this retro-inspired game. [Early Access Provisional Score = 80]

Nine Noir Lives is a fantastic contemporary take on the Point and Click genre. It masterfully blends comedy with intrigue, which culminate together in a captivating and suspenseful story. The characters are equally as entertaining, and are expertly performed by a talented array of voice actors. Artistically, the hand painted backdrops are absolutely stunning, and composer Travis Ford DeCastro does an immaculate job of complementing them through his music. For fans old and new to the genre, you owe it to yourself to play this game.
