When you play Lies of P, you often have the feeling of playing a FromSoftware game. Enough to highlight the qualities of the games while exacerbating its faults. They are few in number and minimal but still demonstrate FromSoftware remains a cut above and above all the undisputed master in the field. However, Neowiz and Round8 deliver an excellent copy. We remember the nervous and jovial boss fights, a permanent reflection of one's build as well as the multiple choices of possible customization. Furthermore, this rewriting of the tale of Pinocchio shows easily and in an accessible manner how our choices and our responses can have consequences on the world around us. With Lies of P, Pinocchio is no longer a wooden puppet dreaming of being a young boy since he is clearly in the big leagues.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Seal Chronicles doesn't reinvent the legend, it beefs it up with clear, straightforward battles. The narrative is understated, revelations few and far between, but the gameplay loop is captivating: whispers encourage variety, sonic artifacts smooth the rhythm, synchronized duos add flair, and co-op allows two players to fully enjoy it. It's a simple entry point into action-oriented gameplay. More demanding players will find plenty to enjoy thanks to its addictive loop, but will likely lament the lack of depth in the combat, especially in one-on-one fights. The Seal Chronicles oozes Zelda, even without Nintendo's involvement in development, and remains entertaining from beginning to end. This makes the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive a must-have for the console.- Jeuxvideo.com

The XXL menu concocted by id Software is made for action lovers who always want more ketchup. Between two slices of laughter aboard a giant robot or on the back of a ferocious dragon, The Dark Ages takes advantage of its gigantic zones to let the warrior decide which smoky BBQ sauce he'll be eaten with. The more open worlds allow for extraordinary confrontations never before seen in a Doom, but like the mecha or dragon phases, everything is designed to provoke immediate thrills at the risk of lacking a bit of depth. In any case, Bethesda's production doesn't repeat the same formulas, however magical they may be: it relies on ancestral know-how to better venture into demonic astral planes.- Jeuxvideo.com

The result is an addictive experience thanks to its simple, but effective concept based on increasing power and replayability. If we would have liked a little more variety in the level objectives, the challenge overcome manages to make us forget this pitfall. In short, an ideal reason to relaunch Splatoon 3.- Jeuxvideo.com

Twelve years after its release, Bravely Default returns to accompany the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 in a version that enhances the qualities of the original game. With this graphical overhaul, we enjoy more than ever the original style of this adventure, especially on a portable device, and the few comfort additions make the experience more enjoyable. While the title still shines with its combat and music, certain aspects remain in their original state, such as its overly classic story or its incessant notifications. This remaster nevertheless remains the best way to discover this seminal and ideal game while waiting for the announcement of the next project from the Asano team.- Jeuxvideo.com

Tales of Arise brilliantly succeeds in breathing new life into the Tales Of saga. With its universe and its successful characters, the title delivers a striking adventure that takes advantage of superb environments thanks to a unique graphic rendering. The fights are not left out either since they show great intensity with always more spectacle, sometimes even if it means confusing the action. If we can blame it for his clipping, its talkative side, or its redundant bestiary, we still salute its many qualities which suggest good for the future of the series.- Jeuxvideo.com

Donkey Kong Bananza isn't the absolute masterpiece some were expecting, but it's an excellent action-adventure game with effective, accessible gameplay and plenty of fresh ideas. It carves out a new direction for Donkey Kong without revolutionizing the formula, but with enough bananas, transformations and discoveries to please a wide audience. A title with groove, that hits the mark (and hard), and that makes you want to come back again and again.- Jeuxvideo.com

In the slew of independent video games that exist, we sometimes stumble upon pure wonders. Since the budget established cannot compete with the big productions, the developers had to redouble their efforts to reach us and stand out from the crowd. Whether it's quirky gameplay, beautiful writing, or singular art direction, the emotional impact has to be strong to catch the limelight, and that's what Spiritfarer does. The game of adventure and management shows finesse and generosity. Making death the very principle of the game, wrapped in a cartoon style and while maintaining tenderness and benevolence, was a daring bet. Mission accomplished!- Jeuxvideo.com

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered on PC is a good, if imperfect, port: it runs well on a wide variety of configurations, even the Steam Deck, but quickly becomes greedy when you want to activate ray-tracing . The latter also remains unconvincing, with unpleasant visual artifacts. On the other hand, we greatly appreciate the compatibility with 21:9 screens, which brings a real plus, as well as the possibility of using the Duel Sense to its full potential. That being said, even if you have the PC that is fine, you have no interest in taking this version if you already have it on PS5, or even on PS4. For others, it's now or never to discover an excellent Marvel game and one of the best adaptations of the adventures of Spider-Man.- Jeuxvideo.com

What a slap! With this luminous shadow drop sold at a low price and integrated into the Game Pass, Bethesda sends the conventions of the video game industry waltzing away. From the waltz to Tango Gameworks, there is only one step that we invite you to take without delay. After fear, the studio brilliantly relies on ardor. Hi-Fi RUSH plays a score of all the devils where rhythm, platform and fight form an euphoric melody and without major false note. By playing on the measures but having fun in excess, this rush is our crush from the beginning of the year.- Jeuxvideo.com

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond clearly follows in the footsteps of the original trilogy: a solid, immersive adventure, driven by a strong atmosphere, more interesting combat than expected, and truly memorable bosses. It could be criticized for its somewhat predictable exploration, a very linear structure, and a few underutilized powers, but the gameplay loop remains enjoyable once it gets going. On the Switch 2, the game serves as a true technical showcase, with convincing display modes and a wide range of control options, including a surprisingly successful mouse mode. Without revolutionizing the formula or the genre, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond reminds us why 3D Metroid remains unique and stands out as one of the most important titles in Nintendo's 2025 catalog, if not the most important. That is, provided you accept that it prioritizes mastery over risk-taking.- Jeuxvideo.com

With splendid landscapes full of details and references for the most accustomed, this ninth expansion surprises with its simple, but effective approach. This quintessence of more traditional elements has not skimped on the novelties, including the particularly successful dragon flight and the new class and race. Of course, not everything is perfect, such as the often repetitive quests, the low screenplay challenge and the too classic arrival on the island of Dragons. However, there is an effort on the part of Blizzard to create an immersive and welcoming adventure for everyone. Dragonflight offers a haven of peace that all the heroes and proud defenders of Azeroth dreamed of... while waiting for high-level content that will undoubtedly satisfy seasoned players who like tough challenges.- Jeuxvideo.com

Immortality is a new demonstration of the art of Sam Barlow. Mystical, captivating, Marissa is the main subject of a work of absolutely remarkable screenplay consistency, with polished shots and whose non-chronological grouping makes the whole experience gripping. And if it is true that the redundancy of the gameplay based on a simple click mechanism can prove to be heavy at the end of the experience, the adventure is nonetheless incredibly striking and controlled.- Jeuxvideo.com

With its mix of several genres (rogue-lite, twin-stick shooter, tower-defense), Endless Dungeon had everything to break your head. However, the French from Amplitude Studios have proven to us once again that they are capable of playing in the big leagues. Thanks to its originality, its very well-balanced rhythm and its impressive artistic direction, Endless Dungeon can be enjoyed alone or in cooperation with up to three players. And even if the runs are long and the narration lacks a bit of direction, you always want to get lost in the space station to finally reach the reactor. An excellent game which allows a very good end to a year 2023 already rich in content for rogue-lite fans.- Jeuxvideo.com

With Jedi Survivor, Respawn-Electronic Arts takes us on a real Star Wars adventure. The atmosphere and the grandiosity of the sets go into light speed, thanks to the use of ray tracing and the power of the PS5 / Xbox Series generation. The open areas are really fun to ride and never veer into easy filling. The staging is top notch from start to finish, delivering both epic and touching scenes. The writing and the scenario even gain in thickness. Finally, we would have just liked the gameplay, certainly more complete, to be the subject of the same trajectory correction... Beyond a fairly classic start to the adventure, Jedi Survivor sticks to the skin - even after 30 hours of gameplay. An excellent action-adventure game and an excellent Star Wars title.- Jeuxvideo.com

For a hardcore action RPG, The First Berserker Khazan doesn't lie about the goods. But, beyond a very high - and almost caricatured - difficulty, the Neople studio demonstrates very impressive know-how (especially for its first project of the genre), and this throughout the 60-70 hours that the adventure lasts. Frankly, despite a structure already seen and a slight lack on the technical and artistic direction side, it's difficult to expect more from a demanding action role-playing game. The fights are top-notch, the bosses too, there are even little "twists" that constantly punctuate the progression. What do you say again? Oh yes... first attempt, masterstroke!- Jeuxvideo.com

More than a very good Zelda-like, Tunic is a great puzzle-adventure game that will delight fans of exploration and secrets. Because the game of Andrew Shouldice and his friends contains a lot. Very much. Starting with those hidden off the beaten path, thanks to beautiful colorful isometric 3D. But especially those hidden in a paper manual directly integrated into the game. A brilliant idea that serves as a map, a history manual as well as a collection of clues, and which is at the heart of the progression. Tunic knows how to regularly surprise the player with things present from the beginning - a passage, a game mechanic - but which are revealed hours later. Without forgetting the demanding and solid action phases, which contain significant moments. Fights that can also be made very simple, thanks to accessibility options. What to focus above all on the secrets of Tunic, which we took a monster foot to solve. Because that's where the real wealth of the game is hidden. A big crush.- Jeuxvideo.com

Planet Coaster 2 wanted to be the ultimate theme park creation game, and it succeeded. The level of detail, the range of parameters to consider, and the number of creation possibilities offered are dizzying. The risk of being discouraged by so much wealth is real, especially since the unclear interfaces and incomplete tutorials will not help you enough. But, in the same way that your visitors will be able to choose whether or not to dive into your new pools, it is up to you to decide which game you will dive into: a demanding micro-management game? An ultra-complete construction game? Or just a fun time on the career mode, borrowing magnificent creations from the community? Everything is possible, and the frustration of not being able to do what you want is reduced. Who said it was easy to tame an almost perfect game?- Jeuxvideo.com

For those who finished the first Division game, this second episode will probably lack some new and exclusive features. That being said, The Division 2 is definately a great game that mixes polished gameplay and a huge amount of content, especially for the end game.- Jeuxvideo.com

By offering a realistic look at war by positioning yourself at the head of a group of civilians trying to survive, This War of Mine offers a different approach to survival games but does not avoid some pitfalls. Admittedly, the game mechanics are always the same and can quickly tire you. In addition, certain aesthetic choices somewhat taint the visibility of the infiltration phases and the writing is sometimes clumsy. But it would be criminal not to salute a game which manages to convey a strong message, which knows how to place the player in front of his own conscience at all times without falling into voyeurism or bad taste. A devilishly interesting experience.- Jeuxvideo.com

Cleverly designed, full of charismatic characters and hiding a universe richer than it seems, this original Visual Novel manages to tell its story in a beautiful way. Alternating phases of bluffing and pure storytelling, it has an engaging rhythm and a strong identity. In short, if you are comfortable with English and are not afraid of a few lengths here and there, Gnosia is a highly recommendable experience.- Jeuxvideo.com

Rarely has a game been so aptly named. Diablo II Resurrected is indeed a true resurrection of a PC classic from the 2000s, in a technically updated version, but which scrupulously respects the original gameplay. A project that could have been a big deal in many ways, but Vicarious Vision has enough faith in the original material and hardly changes the game design and interface.- Jeuxvideo.com

Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that feels like a constant emotional elevator. Endowed with a moment of grace capable of making a lasting mark on players and the industry in general, with prospects for deep approaches, which only reveal themselves according to your investment, an incredible staging, writing that's Flawless and jaw-dropping, lovingly crafted, CD Projekt's RPG is as striking in its lack of finish, which is often hard to excuse for a game of this stature.- Jeuxvideo.com

The game offers incredible shooting sensations along with great OST and excellent atmosphere. We could have criticized the lack of scenario or the anecdotic multiplayer, but is it really important for this kind of game? We don’t think so…- Jeuxvideo.com

A gigantic medieval sandbox, Crusader Kings III has no equivalent. Insanely deep, the new nugget from Swedish developers Paradox takes strategy and RPG to the top. With the exception of an often errant artificial intelligence and a DLC policy that will not please everyone, this episode benefits from a remarkable interface, insane content and a much more pleasant visual approach. than previously. Each part is a discovery and leads to sometimes unsuspected decisions. And for the first time, the series has a tutorial and many contextual guides that open it up to a much wider audience, including on consoles. Without denying its origins, Crusader Kings III sublimates the franchise and leads us to bow to it. Remarkable.- Jeuxvideo.com

With Requiem, the grand finale is complete: Capcom unites all fans of its saga in a bloody communion, whether they prefer first-person horror or over-the-shoulder action. Capitalizing on fan service, this Resident Evil resurrects the dead as much as memories, but could it have been otherwise with Leon confronted by his eternal demons? Admittedly, Requiem rehashes old ideas, but it brilliantly succeeds in its gamble of delivering two games in one, even if the story is once again a flimsy excuse for all sorts of extravagances. Beautiful, generous, well-paced, comprehensive, and designed to satisfy longtime fans, Resident Evil Requiem is devoured like a rich, over-the-top compilation with extra ketchup.- Jeuxvideo.com

Splatoon 3 is the culmination of its own formula with a more complete experience than ever. Inspired by the Octo Expansion, this new episode offers a fun story mode with the diversity of its levels and its pleasant hub to explore. The title does not forget its fundamentals with an effective multiplayer, as usual, which benefits from new subtle movements and new weapons. And if the Salmon Run is still as nice as ever, what it offers is very similar to what we experienced in Splatoon 2. And if its close proximity to its predecessor is the main criticism that we can make of this third opus , it's still a great new exclusive for the Nintendo Switch.- Jeuxvideo.com

Two Point Museum is a success, it follows in the footsteps of the studio's two previous games. If only it weren't frustrating because of its expeditions! It's a great mechanic that would have been perfect if it hadn't required so much "farming". But you just have to zoom out and observe our beautiful museum, well decorated, filled with numerous and diverse works, with employees working where they should be and happy customers... And we congratulate ourselves on having worked hard, and having enjoyed it.- Jeuxvideo.com
