You can join games hosted all over the world, each with its own theme and according graphical and sound effects. Whether you want to unwind with a relaxing puzzle, or are looking for an intense and nerve-racking challenge, the choices are nearly infinite.

    Tetris Effect: Connected is the definitive edition of the classic puzzle game, mixing its formula with Lumines' synesthetic effect and lots of modes, including the completely new and highly engaging co-op Connected mode. A game that won't leave our consoles for many years.

    I may not be seeing tetrominos during my day job, but I do have a newfound obsession with Tetris. Since starting this game, I've gone down YouTube rabbit holes learning about t-spins, tips, and tricks to improve my Tetris game. I've replayed modes to beat my previous high score, which I don't normally do in games. Even after this review, I'm eager to jump back into Journey mode to hear some of my favorite songs before booting up another title. As an added bonus, the multiplayer options make for a solid package that should offer players tons of hours of Tetris.

    Ein wirklich fantastisches Spiel. Das einzige, was es noch geiler gemacht hätte wäre ein paar Spielereien im Abenteuer-Modus. Unsichtbarkeit von Steinen, etc. Das hätte noch Variation reingebracht. Ansonsten, aber ein super Spiel.    … Expand

But some of the petpeeves for me is the tile color trends to clash with the background, making it somewhat impossible to tell on the drops and shapes.

    There are loads of challenges, a mix of old and new modes which I dare say it's like a definitive edition but not enough as some popular features that professional Tetris players need isn't in it.

    Online play only has two, co-op and versus mode which are good but not that great as there aren't enough players to go by. This would benefit the most if it had Tetris 99 mode which is hectic and fun but this Tetris only focus on being in the calm mode.

    Replayability, well, again, it's Tetris. Unlimited replayability.

    As much as I would recommend this game on the Xbox, I'd push someone to get the PS4 version mainly due to the inclusion of VR for immersion and it's most complete game.    … Expand
