Sadly, Crysis is not really a good remaster. Sure, it's still Crysis but its looks are sub-par, it's filled with bugs, and some content is missing like mission 10 and the DLSS. Don't bother unless it's heavily discounted and you own a powerful PC.

The Witch & The Hundred Knight is one of a kind, it's a title which tries to do something different in the very tight and narrow hack'n slash style. Nippon Ichi has made the choice of an hybrid gameplay, more tactical than you think and it can be a true strength. But the lack of rhythm in the narration and a very annoying camera, among other faults, make it just a little more than average.

R.A.W. : Realms of Ancient War is clearly neither a Diablo 3 nor a Torchlight 2. If you are simply a hack & slash game collector or looking for a ten hours experience for a low price, then maybe you can give R.A.W. : Realms of Ancient War a try. And the pleasure to kill thousands of monsters with just a click remains. We highly recommend it for people playing on consoles, where hack & slash titles are not many.

With Sonic Frontiers, SEGA wanted to modernize its license by choosing the open world, which is a great risk. The idea is good but the result is not successful. The world is empty, with no common sense, game mechanics way too redundant, and technically the game is way too dated. We get bored quickly in this Sonic Frontiers who wants to do something new, but never manages to convince. You don't become an open world expert by clapping your hands, right…

Seducing with its dragon theme, free to play and quite well done as it even offers advanced housing, Dragon's Prophet is an MMORPG which does not look ridiculous. But we do have to admit that it lacks some punch to be able to compete against the genre's stars because of poor polish, an old graphics engine, dull quests and a small amount of races and classes. We note that those drawbacks could be improved by an update overtime which allows us hope. But is trying Dragon's Quest enough to get hooked? Not really but at least it's free to try.

Hiding behind features taken from many titles such as Pure or Sega Rally, Mad Riders doesn't appear as a strong competitor on the market, lacking an identity. We would have loved to like World of Warplanes but wargaming.net's title misses its target. From a small margin indeed but the aiming system that hesitates between arcade and sim ruins the experience. It's even more sad because the rest of the game is pretty neat. Nicely made and plentiful, the aircraft are the true star of the show, and the environment does its job. And the economic model is very nice for a free-to-play. On paper, the Horizon and LEGO association could have made sparks, but Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo would have needed more production time to follow through with their ideas, and especially a real LEGO game. Apart from its devastating visuals that make it the most beautiful LEGO game ever created to date, LEGO Horizon Adventures disappoints in its overly linear structure, its limited and much too academic gameplay, not to mention its unfortunately insufficient content. Not only does the adventure lack challenge, but it also folds up between 7 and 9 hours of play, depending on how you play. There is cooperation that helps to increase interest, but it is a feature that is basic in a LEGO game anyway. And what about the combat system, which is far too limited and never evolves during progression, making the game monotonous and devoid of interest. By trying to please both young and old players, LEGO Horizon Adventures unfortunately appeals to no one. It's a shame, because there were some good ideas to explore.

As a huge fan of Lego games, I've been disappointed by The LEGO Movie Videogame. Of course the title aims at seducing young fans of the film, but is it a reason to ruin the content and the direction? Of course we find humor, platforming riddles and stuff to collect which became the renown of previous titles, but the result is not quite as enjoyable. If we limit ourselves to the bad direction, the crappy music, the bugs and lags will still be enough to displease most achievement hunters. But even the content of the game sucks, fewer characters than usual, a light life, easy progression. As it seems it's not that easy to make a good LEGO game from a great LEGO film. Call of Duty Black Ops 7 sadly highlights the limits of a franchise that once defined multiplayer FPS excellence but now feels exhausted by its relentless annual cycle. Rushed production is obvious: the single-player campaign, once the series’ emotional core, is chaotic, blending robots, zombies, mutant plants, and hallucinogenic gas, with no checkpoints, no pause, and mandatory online connection. It’s less a true solo campaign than a co-op multiplayer dressed up with a few cutscenes...The endgame is equally disappointing: flat maps, weak enemy AI, and powers that quickly lose appeal make it feel shallow compared to ARC Raiders or Battlefield 6. Multiplayer is uneven, innovations like wall-jumping and omni-movement can be fun, but cramped maps, frantic action, and unbalanced mechanics drag the experience down. Some modes, like Surcharge, bring strategy, and removing SBMM helps, but they can’t mask the lack of real evolution...Zombies mode expands combat and maps but remains forgettable, while Dead Ops Arcade 4 is just a fleeting diversion. Black Ops 7 isn’t unplayable, but it’s rushed and uninspired. Die-hard fans may enjoy a few sessions with friends, but most players will likely turn to more polished competitors like Battlefield 6 or ARC Raiders.

We thought that Tintin was going to return to video games successfully, but the game is failing badly. With its complicated launch, Tintin Reporter Cigars of the Pharaoh is a game that can be forgotten. And it's not just the technical problems, but also its shaky, poorly chosen and totally childish gameplay. The rare moments of action in the 10/12 hours of adventures are undoubtedly the least successful, with a graphics engine which is unfortunately not adapted to the situations. The inertia of Tintin (but also of Snowy) is completely lacking, the animations are cut to pieces and the game is sorely lacking in dynamism. It's soft, it's boring and it becomes problematic, especially the infiltration phases coming from another time, at least 20 years ago. Here too, Pendulo Studios proves to us that apart from point & click gameplay, the studio seriously lacks the expertise to render epic sequences.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games carries the same problems than Sotchi in 2014 : this 3DS version suffers from its too many experimental gameplays. All of them are not of the same quality. Some are barely correct as others are real nightmares. Really not enough to get a true replay value.

Fahrenheit Remastered is meant for the youngest players, who didn't play the game when it was released. They must be warned though : it's cheap but it's kind of old in the gameplay mechanics and the story will probably leave some of you behind.

It's still quite difficult to tell somebody to buy Goat Simulator. The game is funny but completely glitched. The atmosphere is nutty, but the soundtrack is atrocious. It's merely interesting but easy to play. Well, Goat Simulator is an oddity.

Once again, Sonic is a true disappointment as the speed is not quite here, and if you try to get the most of it, you won't be able to explore and find hidden items. A game aimed at youngsters maybe?

Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal is not that bad. Not as bad as the Wii U version anyway... But it's not really brilliant either. To be honest, the game from Sanzaru is rather well-realised and easy and precise to handle. But it becomes boring quickly: the four characters and the three kinds of levels available can't hide a real lack of good ideas.

Voluntarily old school, both in its feeling and in its structure, the title developed by the South Koreans fully assumes its status as a basic shooter. Thought as a tribute to a period when video games were simple, it can sometimes be compared to a shoot'em up where shooting and moving continuously is highly vital. Too bad, however, that its very uneven realization prevents it from living up to today's standards.

NASCAR 14 is a game solely made for the hardcore fans, if you're not fond of stock car racing avoid this game which tops boring gameplay with some truly appalling graphics. You drive in circles for hours while avoiding the sidewall with the steering as your only past time. With no need to use the gearbox or the brake, you can only imagine what you're left with during the 400 laps of a race, and it's not the trash grindcore soundtrack that will keep you awake. On the other hand, if you love NASCAR and think that F1, WRC, Endurance racing or DTM is for hipsters, Eutechnyx's title is what you want thanks to its immense content and the race atmosphere's fidelity.

With most of the features of previous games gone, it's hard to praise F1 2015, specially when you know that those features will be back next year. Unless you're an absolute F1 fanatic willing to fund the FOPA with your money, we suggest you wait for the next iteration of the IP.

If The Franz Kafka Videogame has some appeal, overall, the vast lack of content makes it look more like a smartphone enigma game, rather than a real PC game as you can beat it easily in under 2 hours.

To be honest, our main worry is: have they played their game? And when you come to ask that kind of questions, it's usually a very bad omen. Star Ocean V has some good ideas, some nice features but failing to tell a story as tri-Ace does in this new entry, displaying something so technically obsolete can only result in a bad RPG.

If the feeling of being an ape is well-delivered in Crisis on the Planet of the Apes, the game suffers from many technical issues like tracking problems and motion sickness - inducing framerate. The level design is simplistic and the few intense moments won't be enough to turn the game into a good memory.

In the same vein as Atelier Rorona and Atelier Totori, Atelier Meruru is a logical conclusion for the Alchemist of Arland serial. The game manages to develop some new things, but can't succeed to cure itself of many many flaws. Cute but totally vacuous, Atelier Meruru : The Apprentice of Arland don't know how to tell a good story. With a poor combat system and a lazy rythm, it seem already an old fellow.
