Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion is visually a great sequel to the famous Castle of Illusion, with its beautiful 2D graphics and its great references to the Disney universe. However, in terms of gameplay, the title is not as good as its big brother. Being forced to jump between the use of the touch pen and the usual game controls is not intuitive and won't make you enjoy this short experience that lasts four hours.- JeuxActu

Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia is clearly a fan-product with lots of content from the manga but very little appeal in terms of videogaming. The worst drawback is the repetitive aspect of the game with chains fights and boring side quests.- JeuxActu

Despite its promising concept, Blades of Fire is ultimately just a shot in the dark. We would have liked the opportunity to test the forge system, to push the center of gravity management of our spear to its limits to tackle a specific problem. But MercurySteam lacks radicality in its proposal and we quickly tire of the overly quirky castles, the overly redundant enemies, and the overly simple weapons. Enough to give up due to disinterest after a few hours.- JeuxActu

With Cobra Space Adventure, Microids adds yet another stain to an already troubled track record. One might have hoped that passion and love for Buichi Terasawa’s work could transcend a shoestring budget, but the reality is brutally clear: Cobra marks a botched comeback, bland and lifeless. Outdated graphics, shameful animations, clunky gameplay, nonexistent staging… nothing manages to lift the game out of mediocrity, aside from a handful of decent ideas tied to the Psychogun. What makes it all the more depressing is that Cobra deserved so much better. Its rich, timeless universe had the potential for a bold adaptation, one that could have captivated both nostalgic fans of the ’80s and a brand-new audience. Instead, what we get is a soulless production that honors neither its source material nor the player. In 2025, it’s unacceptable to charge $40 for a game that looks and plays like a free mobile title you’d stumble upon on the AppStore or Google Play.- JeuxActu

With Dragon Ball Z Kinect, Bandai Namco Games could have revolutionized the fighting games as we know them, especially by offering the opportunity to play, for real, Son Goku and his friends. However, despite a great roster and a lot of animations visually impressive, Dragon Ball Z Kinect suffers from inaccurate motion controls and a Story Mode that won't please our absolute passion for the famous cartoon created by Akira Toriyama.- JeuxActu

It's hard to get excited for Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires, which has been built on a game that already looked very ugly and had an off-topic open world four years ago. If Omega Force has done well to drop the open world concept to return to a more classic structure, we note however that little has really changed and it's still boring playing this new game.- JeuxActu

The desire was there, the passion of the developers too, but the Grendizer site was far too important for Microids and the Enroad studio. We do not know the real budget that was injected for the game, but if there is one thing that is certain, it is that the game lacked financial resources. Technically weak, and graphically ugly, this Goldorak unfortunately cannot hide these technological shortcomings under its cartoon D.A. The semi open world is obsolete and not up to par for a 2023 game. It's empty, it's bland, nothing happens, and the game is also riddled with collision bugs. Added to this are also numerous frame-rate problems which spoil the experience a little more, while problems with proportion and scale value ruin the feeling of being at the controls of a giant 33-meter robot made of metal.- JeuxActu

Worms Battlegrounds' shot goes wide. Clearly. It never takes the advantage from the power of Xbox One and PS4, and even makes us nostalgic of the old Worms. How hard it is to judge this cross-media experience. It's an unbalanced mix between four amazing short animation films, whom half have been made by Japanese masters, and one of the worst games of this year. Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day is a visual failure with a more than simple and unpleasant gameplay. Even with an hour of game, travel across ten levels without any satisfaction or any feeling that you're moving forward is a huge frustration. The short films save its fate.- JeuxActu

It's a good idea from NIS America to widen access to visual novels out of Japan, as long as they make good decisions. And they don't. The publisher has maybe chosen something too spooky for the Western players. Only translated in English, DanganRonpa : Trigger Happy Havoc definitely forgets some who don't want to play 30 hours like that. The others could be interested in the crazy story but it's far too slow. Players have to read lines and lines of discussion before reaching, at last, a gameplay scene. Obviously, Sniper Elite V2 keeps trying in the same way as the first episode : seven years later, it shows the same qualities and makes the same mistakes. The shooting system is still very fun, almost addictive, and the fans will be glad to discover the new Kill Cam. If we consider it as a fitness game or as a tech demo, Fighter Within can be interesting, but as a fighting games it's just hopeless. The characters are dull, the AI is horrendous, the solo is just a big tutorial, the Kinect nav in the menus works quite awfully and it's just a bit better in-game. WRC 4 looks a lot like those annualised soccer franchises. Very few evolutions, and nothing but new fills this 4th game of the series, which does not improve by aging. We feel that Milestone has given up, and has just done the bare minimum to keep the franchise alive and make payment for the WRC's rights. Made with no passion, this tasteless game will occupy the most dedicated fans for a few short moments before it's forgotten. Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 delivers what it promised to do, meaning not much, but that fact alone is worth mentioning. Forget all about the big productions of the market, here we clearly are in another market share: Low Cost gaming. This Dacia of the videogame, once the buyer don't expect the full service, starts scoring points in the spirit of the fanatic of sniper games. If we cant consider recommending this game to the first gamer we meet, a real hardcore gamer fond of Sniper action might well like it.
