John Wick Hex offers very good gameplay which focuses on tactics rather than action, which is a nice break from the movie, but the low budget has had profound effects on the graphics that feels like they're from an antique mobile game.- JeuxActu

Although The Sims 4 brings a few new features, namely the emotion system, it can only make the early fans unhappy and disappointed. Players will have trouble considering Prototype 2 as a full-fledged sequel. The lack of surprises regarding the gameplay compared to the previous title, and a story that is not worth telling despite some amazing live action cutscenes, could curb the enthusiasm of the few players looking for new game mecanics. However, Radical Enterainment managed to create a gaming experience as intuitive as the one offered in 2009 in the first Prototype. So, James Heller will surely help some players reach true power with their controller and it would be crazy not to try!- JeuxActu

It’s not the first time Link and Zelda step into Musou territory, but it’s the first time the whole thing actually feels good to play. The Switch 2 finally gives the genre the power it needed: big battles, smooth framerate, and that guilty pleasure of slicing through hordes of enemies without the game falling apart. Add a story that fills in gaps between Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, and the experience is surprisingly engaging. The downside is that the game sticks a bit too tightly to the Musou formula. Missions repeat themselves, objectives feel predictable, and the RPG layer barely adds anything. A few fun ideas (team attacks, character swapping, shoot’em-up moments) don’t fully break the routine. And visually, it’s uneven: the game runs great, but flat textures, aliasing, and blurry 720p cutscenes make it look more like a late Switch 1 title than a true Switch 2 showcase. In the end, Hyrule Warriors: Chronicles of the Sceal is a solid, enjoyable Musou with plenty of Zelda lore, but it’s still a conservative entry. Fun as a stress-reliever and nice for fans, just not essential.- JeuxActu

Resident Evil 6 is not the blockbuster we were waiting for. The reason? Capcom decided to develop an action title instead of a survival horror game, despite their lack of knowledge players will be aware with the bad cover system. Of Course, everything is not that bad, to begin with its ingenious inventory, Jake Muller's campaign, or some of the QTE cleverly introduced all along the three different stories. However, the 30 hours of gameplay won't be enough to make Resident Evil 6 one the best episode of the IP.- JeuxActu

If we had to compare, Inazuma Eleven Strikers is clearly not as good as the previous games released on Nintendo DS. For sure, it has many qualities such as its career mode, the great number of players to unlock and nice animations used for shooting sequences. Metroid Prime 4 Beyond feels torn between old and new. After nearly twenty years of waiting, you’d expect a bold comeback, but the game never fully commits to its ideas. It tries to modernize (more action, more dialogue, a wider world), yet keeps clinging to old habits, resulting in something unsure of itself. The empty desert hub, the awkward motorbike, and the constant over-explaining don’t help. There are good moments, and you can see the potential, but they get buried under technical compromises and repetitive design. In the end, it’s not a bad game, just a disappointing one ; fine for newcomers, but far from the glorious return fans hoped for.- JeuxActu

Twenty-six years after its initial release, L’Amerzone returns in a modernized, ambitious, and respectful version of Benoît Sokal’s original work. Microids Studio Paris delivers a remake that, despite technical limitations and dated gameplay, manages to preserve the soul of the original game. This 2025 version is primarily aimed at nostalgic players and fans of contemplative adventure, but it may leave those seeking modernity or a faster pace feeling unmoved. The respect for the source material, the quality of the art direction, and the unique atmosphere of the world make The Explorer’s Testament a valuable, almost museum-like offering—one whose strength lies in its fidelity and melancholic tone. It’s unfortunate, however, that the gameplay didn’t receive a proper overhaul to match the visual ambitions, and that the illusion of freedom promised by the trailers is shattered within the game’s opening moments. Still, L’Amerzone remains a beautiful journey to experience—provided you’re willing to slow down, observe, and immerse yourself.- JeuxActu

Dark Souls 2 won't change anything: if you liked the experience FromSoftware offered in the former episodes, then you will like it again. But if not, you won't start liking now. The great atmosphere, the feeling of loneliness, the intriguing soundtrack and the difficulty still make the quality of this game. Canceled, postponed, stunned by the COVID crisis, then paralyzed by the war in Ukraine, STALKER 2 is, we can say, a miracle. However, despite this good news, and like all these Arlesiennes who arrive in pain after so many years, there are inevitably cracks, even fractures. And a few minutes are enough to see the handicaps that are dragging the GSC Game World title down. Technically first of all, STALKER 2 is lagging behind, with a 3D engine completely overtaken by events. Everything seems frozen, as if we were finding the STALKER of the 2007s, whether in its still life, its static NPCs or its creatures animated with a trowel. The artificial intelligence of the enemies is unfortunately not spared by a lack of know-how, with soldiers who are able to spot us from miles around at the slightest crack of a branch, but are unable to move properly. The open world is certainly gigantic and makes us experience the life of a true survivalist in wartime on a minefield of anomalies as painful as they are invisible, but the progression is marred by a slow, painful and above all unexciting pace. We tried to cling to this story of supernatural elements and a Skif at bay, but the countless bugs and the game system stiffened by this rigid handling and this mediocre interface will have finished off the little enthusiasm we had left. That said, if you are patient, conciliatory with a game whose development was not helped by extraordinary circumstances, and above all totally addicted to the great atomic-Soviet thrill, you might enjoy traveling in the shadow of Chernobyl…- JeuxActu

Expectations were sky-high for Silent Hill f, a true new entry in a series that’s been dormant far too long. Konami trusted Taiwanese studio Neobards Entertainment, and the result is stunning visually and technically, with bold choices like 1960s Japan and more action. The writing is subtle and sharp, making the game feel unique and ambitious. But the gameplay lets it down. It’s clunky, slow, and frustrating, with too many tedious fights, a poorly designed stamina system, and puzzles that feel overcomplicated. The potential is huge, yet the execution keeps you from fully enjoying it. In the end, it’s a polarizing game: impressive and daring in style, but clumsy to play. One step forward, two steps back. Silent Hill deserves better than a beautiful shell hiding rusty mechanics.- JeuxActu

Earth Defense Force 4.1 is a light remaster of Earth Defence Force 2025, if you've played the original one, it has no interest, if you've willing to discover the series it's a nice game albeit the dated technical side can be harsh to cope with.- JeuxActu

Naruto Powerful Shippuden isn't really the kind of game you play when you're older than 14. But IntiCreates managed to give it some qualities: simple and efficient gameplay, a flexible XP system and a great amount of missions. Unfortunately, the graphics are too poor to make the point and you'll need a very special sense of humour to not skip the narrative part of the game.- JeuxActu

World War Z is a worthy TPS which feels quite good with brainless shooting and hordes of zombies, but the overall content is far too slim, and the gameplay far too repetitive to score a hit in our hearts. Consider playing it with friends, or pick it up at a sale.- JeuxActu

This new Fatal Frame gets the atmosphere right, makes the player uneasy. That's a pretty good point to start with for a horror game. But once you're in control, it becomes awful to play and offers no perspective of new challenge to force the player to go forward.- JeuxActu

As we could expect, Dead Island Riptide suffers form the 1.5 syndrome. In other words this stand alone game could have been sold as a DLC to the first episode. Those who disliked Dead Island can keep staying away from this game. For the Fans of the IP, the game offers a good deal with the seductive tropical setting, the countless zombies and the improvised weapons, but they will still have to cope with the drawbacks of the genuine game as bugs, repetitive action and boring quests are still the main stay of this game.- JeuxActu

LEGO Marvel's Avengers has nothing really new to offer, apart from the 200 characters you can play with. It's still confused, it's still repetitive and it's very similar to the other LEGO games you've tried till now.- JeuxActu

If you played the game on PS3 or Xbox 360, we can hardly advise you to open your wallet for Saints Row 4 : Re-Elected + Gat Out of Hell. Even with the large amount of content the game brings, 50 euros is still too much to ask for a GOTY edition without any visual improvements.- JeuxActu

If you're coming here for the gameplay, forget Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 as nothing has evolved on that topic for the last decade. If you want to peep at sexy girls, you're in the right place as everything was made with this goal in mind. A game to store on the ecchi shelf.- JeuxActu

While Stifled is a good VR experience with some creative gameplay ideas, the game falls flat as the player quickly understands how everything works which ruins the thriller ambiance of the game. A game to consider if you're into VR and alternative gameplay, and to pass otherwise.- JeuxActu

Even if old players are the target, Arkanoid Eternal Battle will still appeal to younger generations thanks to the competitive mode. Battle Royale-style kills and a 25-player cap ensure fast, hassle-free games. It is however very regrettable that the servers are so empty, and that we suddenly find ourselves facing AI rather than real players.- JeuxActu

Yo-Kai Watch wants to make it simple, but it's far too simple for anyone, even for the kids Level-5 want to attract. The game hence becomes boring and hardly justify the gap of difficulty between bosses and random fights. A shame, with its great graphics and interesting concept, it could have been really addictive.- JeuxActu

Even if it keeps the same drawbacks as it's ancestors LEGO Jurassic World is a fun game, only spoiled by the repetitiveness of it's gameplay and the new voices of the characters. LEGO Jurassic World ain't the brightest game of the IP but it's not the worst either.- JeuxActu

Whereas Knack does not justify buying a next gen console, this PS4 exclusive is not lacking interest. A clever mix between a nice classic gameplay, a very hard level of difficulty and cartoon graphics to go with the Disney-inspired scenario should get the attention of platform fans. Still plagued by a number of faults like a linear story and a badly set camera, Mark Cerny's game seduces us with its hard level and its uncommon hero. Loaded with badly-used qualities, this game is a call for a second opus which should have a better finish, more development time and a better knowledge of the console it's designed for.- JeuxActu

This Zoo Tycoon next-gen is aiming for two audiences: casual players and true management lovers. It's understandable but very risky obviously. Zoo Tycoon's fans will be disappointed to have such a minimal control on the management and the building of their park, while casual players won't try the Challenges because of the difficulty. At last, Kinect is just a gadget once more, not a real revolution...- JeuxActu

Yes the picture is sharper, yes the game is smoother (60fps), yes there have been some improvements to make the adventure more enjoyable, but damn the gameplay has taken a hell of a beating in the back of the head. It was already painful in 2011, it is even more 10 years later, and it is not the tinkering in classic controls that will sublimate the gameplay of this Zelda : Skyward Sword HD.- JeuxActu

Tropico 5 is a good niche game, well into the series but without any revolution. The small evolutions are enough to justify the buy from a fan of the IP, but most gamers that want to discover a dictator's life will be better off with Tropico 4 which you can find with all DLC for less money. On the other hand, if you do want to try ruling the island with friends, there should be no hesitation: you need to get the last game of the Tropican dynasty.- JeuxActu

With this first try, we can see that Dontnod tries to reach the quality of Quantic Dream and Telltale's work. But they're not there yet. You're not really free to do what you want and the game suffers from a certain number of clichés; the fact that we cannot really find any use for the rewind system is just the icing on the cake.- JeuxActu

Despite some qualities, among them the new supernatural theme, enthusiasm is not really the word that comes directly to our mind while playing The Sims 3 : Supernatural. Of course, it is pleasant to play as a werewolf, or to create terrific potions that could turn our Sims into zombies. However, the surprise is no more, especially when you know a eighth expansion set will be released soon with not so many new features.- JeuxActu
