Jun 13, 2016An open-world waiting for you to conquer it, with varied types of areas offering varied types of gameplay. You don't even have to pay attention to the silly story! You just have to want to take over the map.
-
May 17, 2016Flawed AI and quite a bit of repetitiveness can't deny the fact that Homefront: The Revolution is still a fun, thrilling game with lots of good moments in it. The awesome weapons arsenal and great atmosphere urges us to continue liberating the streets of Philadelphia.
-
May 18, 2016On paper The Revolution has been designed as an amazing sandbox with complex modifying weapon systems and a strong sense of guerrilla warfare. However, every element out there is unpolished and many of the ideas ultimately fail because of that.
-
May 17, 2016Despite its problems, Homefront: The Revolution isn't the disaster many would have anticipated, and it gets a lot right. If you're after a Far Cry game this year but don't want to throw sticks at mammoths, then it's worth checking out.
-
May 18, 2016An acceptable game buried under glaring flaws, Homefront cannot justify its performance problems and numerous bugs despite its competent-but-generic open world.
-
May 20, 2016The years of changes of direction and publishers didn’t leave the shooter unscathed. The stealth mechanics are superficial, the AI comfortably dumb and even the visuals are not up to par. Which is even worse considering that you’ll encounter the occasional tense moment, where you feel what this revolution could have been.
-
May 17, 2016Simply put, Homefront: The Revolution is outclassed in its bracket by every other big-budget game released this generation. And that’s without getting into how shockingly shit the PC version is...This game made me feel unwell, it bored me to tears, and it irritated the piss out of me. Also, it has co-op.
