The only two to walk away from the cataclysm unscathed, the hapless everyman known as the POSTAL Dude and his loyal companion Champ, drive aimlessly through the scorching deserts of Arizona looking for a new place to call home. After a fortuitous gas station rest stop ends with their car, trailer home, and the rest of their worldly possessions stolen, all the Dude’s seemingly got left to his name is his canine cohort and his bathrobe, and neither of them smells all that great. However, on the horizon, the duo glimpses an unfamiliar and dazzling town that beckons to them. What untold prospects lie within? Fame? Fortune? Maybe a bidet or two? Edensin awaits. POSTAL 4: No Regerts is a satirical and outrageous comedic open world first person shooter and the long-awaited true sequel to what’s been fondly dubbed as "The Worst Game Ever™", POSTAL 2! (No third game is known to exist.) Expand

Postal 4: No Regerts is a return to form to the cult classic Postal 2. Unfortunately, while it does stay true to what made it successful among its fanbase, it doesn’t raise the bar in any area where it could be considered a great game. For a series known for pushing the envelope, Postal 4 feels like it plays things too safe. The gameplay mechanics are rough around the edges, while the attempts at edgy humor fall short. The potential is there, but regerttably the writers never push it to a level where it would be memorable. What we end up with is a game that is enjoyable but ultimately unremarkable.

Embarrassing is a word that doesn't really give the exact idea of how i feel about Postal 4. The crude style of the game suggests a ton of easy jokes, but in this case I feel the best thing is simply to flush the toilet.

Aside from politically correctness evaluations, the game offers crazy things to do do, but due to game breaking bugs, uninteresting missions, very poor performances, huge loading times and bad optimization, the gaming experience is very disappointing and frustrating.

Multiple updates since leaving Early Access have still resulted in a game that barely squeezes past “mediocre” in the fun department, and should have probably not left it.

Sadly, it’s not the “so bad it’s actually fun” case. Postal 4: No Regerts is a monstrosity sloppily stitched together from terrible jokes and numerous bugs. The game was testing my patience every step of the way and I could almost hear it scream in my face: “The past is now, old man! Thanks for your money, loser!”.

This is a catastrophe, a boring, ugly, broken game based on a questionable cult hit from two decades ago. The new instalment is honestly such a mess that it would probably fail even back then.

Postal 4: No Regerts is devoid of humor and anything close to approaching fun or engaging mechanics. The only things it has in spades are constant technical issues that only compound the game's lengthy checklist of egregious shortcomings. Running With Scissors might consider this review a badge of honor, considering that the game being bad is seemingly part of the gag, but don't for a second think that Postal 4 even touches the realm of "So bad, it's good." There's nothing redeemable about this game. It's a genuinely awful experience that should be avoided at all costs.

If you love past games (except Postal 3 - nobody loves him (die scum from Akella)) and you have some extra money, then you should definitely take it. Not in order to play now, but in order to help developers who make a game in this nasty and politically correct time in which you can identify a person before dismembering him with a shovel, and then play with the dog the head of this unlucky person. A game full of banter and references. A game that can give you those feelings that no other will give.
Well, if you are interested in graphics and an epic plot with kintz, then you obviously should not take this game. Not now, not later on you won’t get it, it’s not about that.

It's not irreverent. It's not dark. It's not brave or provoking. Just a lot of scatological jokes so, so lame that would not be funny even for a 13-year-old boy.

The map is the other great problem. Bigger than Postal 2, but worst in every aspect, boring, with no soul.

So, in conclusion... even Postal III (being a terrible game) is better than this.
