In the end, Glee Karaoke Revolution Volume 2 on the Nintendo Wii is easily a must have game for Glee fans or "Gleeks" because some thought did go into making this title. Best of all, it is a game that can be played by people of all ages, whether you're 5 or 50 and with a few twists and turns thrown there and there, it's not your average Karaoke game. Add in 20 songs and you'll soon be a certified member of New Directions, whether solo or through multiplayer. Given these facts, Glee Karaoke Revolution Volume 2 is definitely worth checking out, especially if you're a fan of Glee and Karaoke games.

All in all, both Legacy collections are an eye-opening reminder that we once got far more bang for our buck with older Sims titles. While the two re-releases aren’t perfect in terms of bugs, missing content and a few technical quirks, both games remain as fun as they ever were and the benefit of having new, legal ways to purchase them on modern digital game store-fronts cannot be understated. I really hope EA pays attention to fan feedback to these re-releases and learns some lessons from the past to improve the value of future patches, content and technical enhancements.

Restore Your Island may be a relatively short experience, but it succeeds in delivering a relaxing and rewarding gameplay loop supported by light humour and a strong sense of progression. While its mechanics can become repetitive over time, the steady visual transformation of the island provides enough motivation to keep going. The game’s laid-back pacing, combined with its Walkman-controlled soundtrack, makes it an ideal escape from the noise of everyday life. It’s a game that doesn’t demand much from the player, instead offering a calm and satisfying experience that can be enjoyed at your own pace. With additional content updates and expanded systems, Restore Your Island has the potential to grow into something truly special. As it stands, it’s a charming and enjoyable experience—perfect for players looking to unwind, recharge, and enjoy a small but meaningful sense of accomplishment.

Weedcraft Inc. is a good looking, multi-layered and detailed management simulation game. There’s not a lot to it but what there is can be a pleasant distraction from every day life for a while… even if it does simulate a form of every day life for some people. If you like simulation style games you will most likely find enjoyment in this one… if not then this might be worth giving a miss. You’ve probably picked up on this by now, but I should make it clear, Travis Strikes Again is a very typical Suda51 game. It’s filled with dumb, 4th-wall breaking jokes, its plot makes absolutely no sense and its gameplay is underwhelming – but it is absolutely bursting with style and personality. Despite the monotony of the gameplay, I quite enjoyed the nine-or-so hours I spent with Travis Strikes Again. If you’re a fan of Suda51’s previous work you’ll want to check this out. For those of you undecided on whether or not to give Mudrunner: A Spintires Game a try, you need to ask yourself what you’re looking to get from this game. If you’re looking to simply relax and sling mud around a track in a speeding ute, then this isn’t the game for you (I suggest going back to the Motorstorm games for that). If you’re looking for a technical 4WD simulation experience that replicates the act of off-road driving remarkably well, then Mudrunner is definitely what you’re looking for. “Disintegration” has so much potential but due to being such a radical approach to combining two very different gaming genres, I believe that more work needs to be done in order to balance and strengthen the core mechanics. However, in saying that, I have found myself quite intrigued by the developing story and wanting to know what happens next. I wouldn’t call “Disintegration” a bad game, but I would like to see what the developers do with possible future titles. It’s not well-defined or polished like a Zelda game. Instead, you can think of it as a cheaper alternative if the Nintendo Switch’s premium price tag has left you a little out-of-pocket for Breath of the Wild. Do I recommend? Echoes Of The End does have a lot of good points. Visually it does not disappoint, the magic can be fun to wield, and the puzzles add a nice little change of pace. The combat is generally enjoyable enough, if a little awkward, especially targeting magic abilities with camera angles in the midst of battle. If you can put up with its little quirks and occasional glitches (I once seemed to manage to get myself stuck inside the landscape and was unable to move or even see the world properly), it does offer a nice little bit of fantasy storytelling and might be worth your while. If you are easily frustrated by games that sometimes seem to work against you, maybe give it a miss.

Despite the pacing issues and various bugs, I still think Beautiful Desolation is worth your time. The world is impressively realised and absolutely stunning to behold. Whether you’re talking to the various faction leaders and engaging their twisted ideology or simply exploring the remnants of a bygone human age, immersing myself in the world of Beautiful Desolation was an absolute joy. With that being said, I highly recommend playing with a walkthrough at the ready. Nothing quite breaks the immersion like getting stuck on a frustrating quest.

The basic game play is nothing overly fancy… it is after all a basic platformer, but the execution is spot on and Lucky is quite the charmer. It’s clearly aimed at the younger audience but I found it all quite a nice change from the darker, bloodier world of more “mature” games. Great fun little game and not a bad price either.

This game has no business being on a console. A painful and abrasive gameplay experience that will disappoint most players.

London 2012 - The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games is easily the best inspired Olympic Games to have ever graced the console world which features a collection of well made gaming events. As mentioned, the game does suffer from some repetition and it would have been great if the game featured an RPG aspect that allowed you to level-up and further your sports men and women.

It tells an interesting, emotionally arresting story from the unique perspective of a protagonist that is rarely seen in video games. Unfortunately, the gameplay isn’t quite as impressive as the narrative or the setting and instead feels as laborious as the chores you’re instructing Talma to perform. Yet despite the boring gameplay, the gripping story and fantastic visuals were enough to keep me wholly interested in the three-hour ordeal, and for that I can easily recommend The Stillness of the Wind to anyone looking for a unique, plodding gameplay experience.

Star Horizon is an open-world thrill ride where rock and roll meets retro-futurism. Rip through alien dunes on your hoverboard, shred enemies with your keytar, and dive into synth-soaked dungeons that echo with the sound of rebellion. The familiarity of its gameplay mechanics mixed with inventive and dramatic play styles help define it as something exciting and fresh.

Over the course of its roughly five hour playtime, Wonder Boy: Asha In Monster World made me smile and laugh on countless occasions because of its humor, radiant graphics, and endearing world and characters. Though I wish certain aspects of gameplay were modified along with the visuals, I understand the motivation to honor the original game, and applaud the developers for leaning into its shortcomings. Wonder Boy is a lovely adventure for fans of the original and newcomers alike.

Sniper Elite V2 is very much worth a go. The game as the title implies has plenty of third person action going on here, with a good dose of sniping opportunities. The kill cam with the X-ray twist is novel but used too much can get actually old fast, used as a reward for a well-placed Sniper shot would have been better. This would have given the player that sense of reward and accomplishments. This does not make the game bad or a major let down in anyway. It is just an observation and my humble opinion.

Holy Potatoes! We’re in Space?! Is a very cute game that balances turn based strategy with lots of fun humour, pop culture references, and witty puns. At times if you spend all your money and resources early on it can becoming frustrating and repetitive to build them back up (especially when you face the challenging ‘boss’ levels) but I definitely enjoyed the quirkiness of the storyline. It really is what made this game great fun!
