    NBA 2K21 on Xbox One is a brash, flashy and powerful game that has a huge array of toys to play with, as well as a powerful toy-kit to make it more your own too. Whilst there are micro-transactions within, the patient player can just grind their way to the top.

    2K21 is another solid entry in the series that builds upon the great gameplay strides of the last few years. Visual Concepts has some fires to put out and hopefully that happens sooner rather than later so fans can get on to enjoying the grind.

    Beyond the controversy, NBA 2K21 manages to save itself only because of the special attention that the development team puts on its playability since the game does not offer anything at the moment other than its already known modes, which are beginning to being flagged by the community as old and outdated, as well as an online component that got eaten up by microtransactions.

    It would be one thing if this was just NBA 2K20 with some minor changes but this rips the heart out of last year’s game solely to appeal to competitive online players, with many much-loved features stripped back or not included at all.

    2k came thru with the bonus content packs and VC making things better and running much better much better than day 1 Great job

    I have fond memories of this one. It was the first one that I started a Myteam in and that game mode is pay to win, but a blast for those whoI have fond memories of this one.     This game is trash, it is 100% unplayable. Not even going to talk about how this is a clear scheme to drain money out of your bank account

    Absolute garbage, Impossible to score consistently, shot meter sucks, no rookie more is stupid, CPU is ridiculous. Worst money I ever spent.

This years offense in general is very terrible and they don’t give you the option to select which shot meter you want to use as they did in previous years the only positives are a new park (2kbeach) and the retooled my player builder. They still haven’t implemented custom pie charts in the player builder as they said the would before last years fane came out. If they dindt make shooting so badge oriented this would be a very enjoyable game.… Expand

    Cpu cheating is off the charts ridiculous. Meanwhile i miss wide open 3s can't even steal ball any more. Game just isn't fun.
