This could have been a saving grace for Sacred 2, it could have wiped away any history of a poor original release, but unfortunately the PC to console port appears to have been rushed a bit too much and a well under polished game has appeared.- Impulsegamer

Overall Spidersaurs is a very good example of a modern take on the run and gun, whilst it doesn’t quite have the depth that some people may be looking for it certainly fills a gap in the quick play genre and is good for a travel journey or a quick game during lunch break. If you like the vibe of games like Contra, Metal Slug and TMNT then I would suggest giving this game a try.- Impulsegamer

Contra: Operation Galuga is the perfect follow-up to Rogue Corps. That is to say, it’s an actual Contra game that’s worth your time and money. It may not be the best game in the series, but it’s certainly up there with the original Contra and WayForward’s own Contra 4. If you have a hankering for some running and gunning on the go. Contra: Operation Galuga (on Switch at least) is well worth getting to the eshoppa for.- Impulsegamer

For fight fans looking for a good scrap Bleach Rebirth of Souls, is a fairly solid fighter with some clever mechanics that don’t quite hit the mark due to a lack of game modes, some obnoxious difficulty spikes in the main campaign, and a block button that lets you get hit far too easily. As such, I can only recommend Bleach Rebirth of Souls to die hard desperate to take a more hands on trip to the Soul Society.- Impulsegamer

Out of Line is not a long game. It could be finished in around 3 hours, but it is still very enjoyable to play. The puzzles are not overly complicated but are challenging enough and the story that unfolds is unique and charming. Overall, I would say the value for money is great and I would definitely recommend it. It is a perfect game to pick up and casually play when you need a break from the real world.- Impulsegamer

One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 is a thoroughly enjoyable game that works best in medium doses. The game is oozing with One Piece references that I'm sure fans will get a huge kick out. Even if you are not familiar with the series, the game is still extremely accessible. In terms of combat, it's probably one of the most enjoyable games I've played all year as I play pirate superhero and knock my enemies into the air.- Impulsegamer

If you’re a farm-sim aficionado, there’s more titles than ever in the genre, but that doesn’t work in favour for the latest Story of Seasons entry. Compared to its competition, it lacks personality and, most importantly, heart. That’s not to say it’s a lost cause, and with a little finnese and love, Story Of Seasons could easily return as the darling of agricultural simulators, but right now, it’s nowhere near the cream of the crop.- Impulsegamer

In conclusion, Nintendogs + Cats is definitely made for the girl/woman gamer, although I'm sure boys and guys will get a kick out of the title as well. As a big fan of the series, New Dawn was a welcome return to Hope County, Montana. Unit 13 for the PS Vita is an interesting game that unfortunately doesn't try to move out of the safe zone. Games like this have been around for quite some time and if the developer's fine tuned the gameplay, graphics and more importantly, added a story, Unit 13 would have been a far superior title. However with the absence of a story, it does target the portable market as you can easily play a mission here and there without being drawn into the story. It's a little dated but it's a good attempt!- Impulsegamer

Trek to Yomi is Flying Wild Hog’s best game. Unlike Shadow Warrior 3, the studio’s first title in 2022 that was a huge step backward, Trek to Yomi is aimed at a niche audience. It’s short, violent, and poetic. The one-hit kill Kensei mode that’s unlocked after finishing the game for the first time also adds more replay value for the game while creating the potential for attracting hardcore gamers and speedrunners. The game can be enjoyed by many, but a very small group of people will hold on to it for a very long time. That’s why Trek to Yomi has the chance to become a cult title.- Impulsegamer

With a critical view of modern spiritual cults and quite a few good jump scares, The Chant’s story-driven adventure is a remnant from the old days when AA survival horror games such as Alone in the Dark and Fatal Frame were not forgotten. In summary, this is a beautiful game that is worth the price of purchase. It is a small download meaning most gamers will be able to jump in and play shortly after purchase, which is something fantastic in this age of instant gratification. I enjoyed my play through of the title even though I am not really the key demographic for it. It raises the bar for building games, and despite the few bugs I found whilst playing, you can see why you will get your money’s worth and then some out of it. For those looking to make characters and level up, Portal Knights provides a reliable “light” version of this genre. It has a charm that will keep you playing and a soundtrack that is so delightful it will be the only sound playing in the room when you have it on.- Impulsegamer

Eve Valkyrie is an enjoyable VR space combat game that really puts you into the seat of a star fighter as you take on a variety of enemies all from the safety of your lounge room. The immersion factor of VR works well, particularly how you use your head to track enemy ships that makes you feel like you are part of the next big Star Wars movie. The only downside to the title is the microtransactions which are a real big sin. Sure you can grind your way to victory but it’s going to be a hard slog.- Impulsegamer

Spelunker HD Deluxe completes everything it sets out to achieve, it is a faithful remaster of the 2010 version with enough additions (multiplayer) to feel warranted. The controls are tight enough that deaths don’t feel too cheap and the depth of levels will keep you entertained for a lot longer than most remasters. My only real issues is I feel they could have done more to the 3D graphics to make it really feel like a remaster. Instead of just a port with additions. Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is a great game. The familiar tactical combat is fun, challenging and offers genuinely thrilling gameplay. The lore of the world is fascinating and the characters are well-written with charming personalities. Plus the exploration and upgrade cycle of the gameplay loop is thoroughly engaging. In conclusion Red Faction: Armageddon gives fans of this series what they want... destruction plus mayhem and it works on so many levels. The beauty of the destruction is that it is not put in as an afterthought but rather, part of the gameplay which must be used in conjunction with your strategies.- Impulsegamer

While it has its fair share of issues, Aspire: Ina's Tale was a delight to play through. The developers did an excellent job of crafting a beautiful and immersive world. The puzzles are challenging, and the brief narrative is engaging.- Impulsegamer

Crackdown 2 doesn't really add anything new to this franchise and because of the dated look of the gameplay and graphics, this may turn a few gamers off.- Impulsegamer

LEGO Horizon Adventures is an almost perfect translation of the Horizon setting and characters into the world of LEGO. Effort has been made to translate the mechanics and locales into brick form, with great effect.- Impulsegamer

Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk is definitely a game for lovers of well made Japanese RPG games. Combat is fun, exploration is exciting and interactions with NPC's work well, although sometimes it can be a little lengthy. The multiple endings is a huge treat to the gamers but you definitely need to watch the clock and do some micromanagement if you want a happy ending.- Impulsegamer

Assassin's Creed: Liberation is quite the system mover that it had been hyped up to be. The game looks good but does not run very smoothly. It was good to see the touch controls implemented well. This is a solid experience for the hand held but really is up to the same standard as the other releases in the series. This is one for those looking for something for fans of the series and are after something that can be taken away from the television.- Impulsegamer
