    Excellent use of 3D combined with some genuinely tricky puzzles make for one of the best 3DS head-scratchers available. Just be prepared to get stuck.

    Everyone else who hasn't played Crush and is into puzzle games will no doubt enjoy Crush3D. As puzzle games go this one has an exceptional game mechanic that's driven with great level design and enough challenge to make your brain hurt. Marvellous!

    If you're coming from the PSP version, you've already seen everything here, and the best thing you can do is hope that this sells well enough to warrant a well-deserved sequel.

    CRUSH3D is enjoyable, challenging and unique among the 3DS's current library. Its central idea never quite ignites into genius-level design and it sometimes descends into trial and error, but it's worth a look for puzzle fans.

    It's disappointing to see a title with so much potential fail to deliver on almost all fronts. While Crush3D has plenty of good ideas, and has a great concept on paper, it simply doesn't offer a very compelling experience.

If it was an indie game it would be getting RAVE reviews.

    Visually it doesn't stand out (which is likely THE reason for the lower Metacritic score). Notably the 3D is put to good use with the spatial puzzles, but nothing else is overly impressive visually. However, where it really counts, gameplay, Crush 3D shines! If you enjoy platforming with some good challenging puzzles thrown in I *HIGHLY* recommend the game. It provides the kind of depth of gameplay that simply cannot be done anywhere other than a dedicated handheld gaming system.

    with 4 worlds ranging from city, beach, funfair, nursery and over 100 levels to play through. plus there lots to collect like different design dressing gowns, challenge trophy's and art work you'll have your work cut out for you. And at the moment its real cheap so makes it game worth adding to your collection :D    … Expand

But whilst CRUSH was (and still is) a good platformer that's quite intriguing, the 3DS version doesn't complement its status as a remake too well. There is still a heavy lack of content to be found outside the single player game. You may think that the 97 collectible robes may warrant a good deal of your time, but it's just window dressing. In fact that sums up the whole game a bit too well. Whether its the 3D effect, which is cohesive but nothing mind blowing, or the asides including trophies, memories and the aforementioned robes- CRUSH 3D still feels like a lazy remake. The graphical sheen isn't as sharp with cutscenes that have garish overlays that don't present the original's sparkling colour. But to newcomers, this platformer is a treat with mind bending puzzles and potent 2D/3D platforming which is short but ever so sweet.… Expand
