CRUSH3D

The successful mix of jump'n'run and puzzlegame combined with a switchable 2D to 3D presentation and the raising difficulty serves Danny a great CRUSH Comeback on the 3DS.

Again, the difficulty curve is sharp at times and inconsistent, though for a discount release, this is a fun and quirky little experience. The story is amusing and deeper, albeit forgettable, than one might think. Easy to pick up, difficult yet engrossing, and a simple story worth the giggles?

Crush Another Dimension 3D is a good adaptation for the Nintendo 3DS from the original 2007 release for the PSP. The 3D dimension gives you a particular focus and makes the experience even better.

Everyone else who hasn't played Crush and is into puzzle games will no doubt enjoy Crush3D. As puzzle games go this one has an exceptional game mechanic that's driven with great level design and enough challenge to make your brain hurt. Marvellous!

A unique, refreshing puzzle game that should ideally be consumed in small doses to avoid overdosing, as the game can become a bit tedious if played excessively. The puzzle designs go from easy to fiendish at a good pace, so as to never quite overwhelm and constantly challenge expectations.

It ain't pretty, but, by gosh, is it clever. Crush 3D's use of perspective is rare and intelligent, providing ages of synapse-teasing, neuron-firing fun.

In the end, Crush 3D is probably the best puzzle game on the Nintendo 3DS that creates an interesting 2D platformer but with the 3D capabilities of the console. Confusing... a little but does it work? It sure does! With a plethora of interesting and challenging levels plus some wonderful designed gaming environments, although at times a little bland, Crush 3D is an addictive puzzle experience that plays very well on the 3DS, especially with its control system.

If you're coming from the PSP version, you've already seen everything here, and the best thing you can do is hope that this sells well enough to warrant a well-deserved sequel.
