Onee Chanbara Origin is a remaster that goes straight to the point, offering frenetic, bloodthirsty gameplay and a punctual and truly entertaining combat system. The technical side is sadly stuck at the origins of the saga, especially the scenarios, which seem to have really come out of a ten-year-old console. The characters, fortunately, have undergone a remarkable restiling and the protagonists show a full-bodied cel-shading and excellent animations, able to give back a sense of majestic violence. Probably the entry price (49 €) is a bit too high for a shamelessly budget product and the incessant action could saturate the souls of those who do not adore the genre in the long run. Considering this, Onee Chanbara Origin gives the videogame player exactly what it promises: maybe it won't be much, but at least it is clear and honest in its contents and intentions.

Compile Heart has developed a decent game, but few will notice: the cause is the licentious army, shown in every trailer or game's pictures. If we add to this the online slow in matchmaking and an AI deficit, the result is a title with spikes and dips worthy of a roller coaster. However, digging over the hundreds of thousands of breasts and buttocks, the game is there. It's up to you to decide how much and how this erotic outline can slow you down, or push to eventually purchase.

The problem with Starships isn't its quick and light gameplay, which actually has some very nice design ideas. Exoprimal has several merits, including making dinosaur hunting fun and challenging fights between exosuits. At the same time, however, Capcom has made several mistakes, such as focusing on only one mode and launching a game that cannot entertain in the medium to long term. Life is Strange: Reunion constantly straddles two identities: the desire to recapture the intimate atmospheres and human relationships that made the original Life is Strange special, and the burden of a broader, more convoluted narrative direction inherited from the more recent Life is Strange: Double Exposure. The result is uneven - often stumbling over inconsistencies and simplifications - but it finds its strength in quieter moments, particularly through the renewed focus on Max and Chloe's relationship. Its contained structure, recycled environments, and gameplay that evolves little from past entries prevent the game from taking a true step forward. Yet, when it centers on character and emotion, Reunion leaves an impression, showing that the heart of the series is still beating. It may not be the sequel the franchise needed, but it slightly improves on Double Exposure, and could be a satisfying chapter for those attached to these characters and their world.
