Mirror of Fate is not your typical handheld Castlevania adventure: with a more predictable map exploration and a weapon and magic variety reduced to its lowest terms, it sets itself as a portable version of the Lords of Shadow saga. Mercury Steam has put some distance between what Konami and Igarashi achieved in the past ten+ years: this is a somewhat good action/fighting game, but a less-then-stellar Castlevania experience, plagued by a questionable frame rate.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is the best way to experience the Wizarding World's most famous sport in video game form. The gameplay is well thought out, with each role unique and differentiated from the other, and the changes to the Quidditch rules make the matches more competitive and balanced. Unfortunately, the game offers very little content - with the single-player content, in particular, running out within a few hours - and needs a ranked match system to entertain the most competitive players. A nice and light pastime for those who miss the series or for those who have never approached it. Hindsight is a short and compelling adventure about memories and identity. When mechanics, storytelling and rhythm blends together, Joel McDonald's game is brilliant and gives wonderful perspective about our relationship with our past and with the people we love. Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is a heartfelt and massive tribute to the 20th anniversary of Geo Stelar's journey. While the newly added voice acting, the rich virtual museum, and the modern QoL features are fantastic additions, the surgical preservation of the original code brings along severely outdated design choices. The tedious backtracking, unskippable animations, and a clunky one-at-a-time quest system hold the experience back from true greatness. Paradise Lost is a classic walking simulator and this represents the cross and delight of the entire production. Letting yourself be carried away by the ashen environments, definitely inspired in their majestic decadence, means living a very suggestive and exciting story. On the other hand, its didactic nature and the total lack of playful elements could make anyone looking for a more classic and varied experience turn up their nose. The interest that Paradise Lost instills in players more inclined to narrative involvement goes beyond the game itself and could push the most curious to get interested in the real "Giant Project" or in the similarities with the homonymous poem by John Milton. This does not detract from the fact that the game has a level of graphic cleanliness largely to be reviewed and a structure locked inside a giant corridor.
