The Dark Picture: Little Hope is a good step forward from the first chapter. The implementation of more responsive controls and greater clemency in QTE make the experience more correct and enjoyable, although in the end the game structure remains essentially the same. Despite the splashy story in a few too many clichés, the tension remains high, as does the involvement, thanks to a superb technical department. Unfortunately, the naivety of some narrative choice, the introspective smallness of almost all the characters and the longevity reduced to the bone do not let the title fly beyond the discreet. It does not betray the expectations of those who expect a couple of evenings in horror sauce, but it really goes no further.- IGN Italia

A tactical RPG where the tactics are not deep enough. The story and characters are believable and unexpectedly logical, but in a genre where strategy is an integral part of the experience you would expect to be actually strategic to win. A narrative adventure that succeeds in a truly remarkable feat: inserting good and not repetitive environmental puzzles into the adventure while keeping the experience simple and approachable. A simple but solid game, not too long and not too short, that only fails in not being able to best tell its story. The surreal and decadent world of After Us is impressive: although it is not a large-caliber production, the developers of Piccolo Studio have been masters in using the means at their disposal to create impactful visual compositions. Maid of Sker - in some ways - could be described as a sort of Resident Evil 7 without weapons. A dilapidated house full of puzzles, the backtracking that repopulates deserted areas at first and the general atmosphere, have brought to mind several times the Capcom adventure. Clearly, the technical side pays the price for an immeasurably lower level of production, but in the same way it outlines the strength of its own qualities. Maid of Sker, however, is all about stealth, and while it gives us some tools to distract or block enemies, it doesn't stray far from its initial structure. Had it not been for a dark, kneaded aesthetic and some rather unfortunate game choices, we'd have a little classic on our hands.- IGN Italia
